How much I going to invest in a ICO, basically depends on the project itself. Actually, I do not have very specific competencies and deep knowledge in programming, protocols and cryptography, mining or blockchain technology itself. So, if I see a lot of potential (based on my knowledge or reading some articles/telegram chat/bitcointalk threads) I am willing to invest more, I rather go in with a little money, maybe 150/200 usd, just in case it takes off and I will regret that.

I would definately invest into ICOs. There are so many great projects with an amazing ROI. There was a mind-blowing ICO hosted by SingularityNET offering a platform for AI-s. I recommend investing in ICOs as a good idea.But you have to find nice projects by researching.There are too many scam ICOs today.But if you find the correct one it gives you easy money.
For me there are two ways for you to invest your money. One only involves bitcoin itself but the other one involves other cryptocurrencies or altcoins. In the first one you only have to hold your money. In this kind of method you just have to wait when will the bitcoin will get a lower value, that's the time that you will convert your money in to bitcoin then when the bitcoin goes higher in value, you can now exchange those coins to you currency. As for the other one, you can also exchange or convert it to other coins or altcoins and just look at the market graph of that coin. In that way you can determine and decide whether you will invest in that altcoins or not. Both of this method needs time for you to gain profit. Its up for you to decide on what method you are going to be in.
investing in ICO is quite profitable and lots of investment start in ico but as in any investment field, you should pay more attention to markets, people and projects before giving your money to someone. because it must be clear and detailed.

I advise you to share some portion of investing. If the conditions apply to me then I will divide some parts, 30% Bitcoin will I Hold, 50% I will do investment to do trading and the rest I use to follow Project. I think that is the right part because I can get a chance on all things, I've seen some people who experience different things. they use all the money they have to make a trade and they are not lucky to get it wrong after making the wrong decision. This is the importance of making some parts because then we will get security in investing, we will feel comfortable and safe every day and we will not experience disappointment when we make the wrong decision.

There are many scams now. I think it is better to buy coins in exchanges. If a company goes to exchange it means this project have some success and team doesnt go out with money.

only invest in ICOs if you have enough knowledge on what you are doing, you can get scammed if you put your money in ICO that is only there to scam people's money. still better to invest in gambling sites if you ask me, the profit is small but a profit is still a profit right? there are lots of gambling sites that you can put your money into, check the gambling section
Since people can smell money, they can disguise scam projects really well these days so you really need to be careful when investing your money in any ICO. Read a lot of reviews before you decide.

my suggestion in ethereum, ripple, monero, but you must research first when your invest, If you can not research and decide for yourself you should not be buying any of them. You will not get good answers here asking this so do not bother.
It's up to you. If you think losing some of your money won't hurt that much financially then go ahead. Choose promising ICOs in which you can invest. Be careful choosing and make a research before jumping into action.
