"According to the founders, all big exchanges are interested, that means Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Poloniex, Kraken, Bittrex, maybe also the Chinese ones like Huobi and OKcoin."
I expect a firework like on zcash launch Grin

Is this normal a single seed generates a different reception address each time I log in

If you attach the address each time: yes.

I just downloaded and logged into the recently released Mainnet Release: Iota Light Wallet v2.2.5 after deleting the Light Wallet v2.1.1. database.
The transfers were seamless and instantaneous.
Kudos to the Iota team.

So a coin that hasn't been traded on a major exchange is worth 480 million? I will wait for the 90% drop in price once it hits a real exchange and all early millionaires try and cash out at once.

I doubt you really believe in 90% drop. By what date do you expect it to drop that low? Will it stay there at least 24 hours (to exclude fat finger case)? Do you have 1 BTC to bet on your claim?

Marketcap from http://iotaprice.com/ would imply that it is in the top 20 coins without beeing listed on an exchange.

I doubt that a drop will happen since this is the first 3rd gen token that solves all BTC problems. Also it has many real world use-cases and cooperations and presence in worldwide meetings.

Also, eventually it might reach a much bigger marketcap than BTC, since it is suitable for IoT, a market worth trillions.

Things I spontaneously do not like with IOTA;

There only is seed there is no password which feels weird.
Adresses look like seeds so that you could confuse your seed with an adress.
Adresses are very long which makes them inconvenient.

Hi guys, I've just posted a video on IOTA, hopefully it can get some traction around Bitcointalk and other social networks! There's a giveaway if you follow the instructions and subscribe etc and a follow up giveaway in the video thanks to the generosity of YDX!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyrNDtNHGIM

I the video it is said that IOTA could "replace Bitcoin". I can understand that IOTA is able to handle more transactions per second than bitcoin but why is IOTA so much better than other cryptocurrencies like etherium och monero.

I am still looking for a way to buy IOTAs. I would like to buy IOTAs for 1 BTC.

Hi all,

will the initial exchange price fixed to BTC a value, no matter what $ value BTC has? Just asking because I have to buy some BTCs to get into IOTA, but BTC has nearly reached all time high at the moment. So if the BTC $ value is not included in the IOTA pricing this would be not a good moment to buy BTC to go into IOTA? Maybe somebody can correct me if I´m wrong. Thanks!

There is no fixed price, as the ico was long time ago. You can only buy coins of inital investors.
Current prices are about 70+ BTC for a Ti.

Okay, so if the BTC price double till 13th June, 1 Ti will cost ~35 BTC (if the ITOA price stays nearly the same)?

Yes, but thats a big "if". The raise of bitcoin gives also more space for altcoins, so I wouldn't expect it this way.
If you look in the charts of last month, alts were going even more up, as btc went up...
