While this makes perfect sense and it was always said that iota should be used by machines and not humans, some users might not be pleased without an ui.
We will create the UI.
Ah good then, my bad, I thought no web interface meant no gui, nevermind

I find it hard to stop refactoring the code trying to simplify it as much as possible, but taking into account that the sale is almost over I'm going to do the last simplification - I'll remove web interface support and will rewrite the interface in such a manner that it uses only API...

Hi there!Could someone tell me how many btc+Jinn were collected on today?
Cheers

800 btc and 40,6k jinn
sorry, but it wasn't there 940k jinn instead of 40,6k ? or 900k were before?
Cheers

1M Jinn were created by Triangle.
Only 100k of them were sold to the public.
Of these 100k, 40,6k were given back by investors to Triangle in exchange for iota.
Thank You friend, for explication

Now this is Ad-Hominem! Cheesy

I have not held XMR for over a year now. I still feel it's the best alt atm. I do watch promising new tech which I am hoping this will actually be. I guess I should remove the XMR address so idiots don't auto think I'm affiliated.

Please, remove zanzibar's quote from your post or I'll have to delete the latter, because thread moderators don't have EDIT option.

Done.

@sulfurtank, both your posts sounded very impolite (especially the first one which contained racism), paraphrase them, please.

He/she made disparaging remarks about the whitepaper claiming it was too hard to understand (at least after the first page) and had been processed using a software translation service which is clearly not the case. Since very few people are capable of understanding the level of maths presented in the paper, and since none of those who do have raised this contention I assume sulfurtank's criticisms can be safely dismissed.

I only mention this because this reaction may have been averted by improving the English grammar in the paper (at least in the non-technical sections). Obviously English is not Popov's native-tongue and I've checked some of his other papers and seen the same use of language. For maths faculties Im sure this is no problem, since the language is perfectly clear in its meaning, but for laymen/investors/others who will only understand the Abstract, General and Conclusion sections of the paper, you might consider improving it.

For example the whitepaper reads:

1 General description of the system
The rise and success of Bitcoin during the last six years proved the value of blockchain technology. However, this technology also has a number of drawbacks, which prevent it to be used as a one and only global platform for cryptocurrencies. Among these drawbacks, an especially notable one is the impossibility of making micro-payments, which have increased importance for the rapidly developing Internet-of-Things industry.

Perhaps it could read (although I'm still unhappy with it):

1 General description of the system
The rise and success of Bitcoin during the last six years has proved the value of blockchain technology. However, this technology also has a number of drawbacks which prevent it from being used as the one and only global platform for cryptocurrencies. An especially notable drawback is the impossibility of making micro-payments, which have increased in importance for the rapidly developing Internet-of-Things industry.

Having raised the subject I offer you my assistance if desired.

Nice! Can somebody explain how we can succes lift with IOTA tokens, on the big boom of the internet of things?

Thanks!

It'll be primarily about marketing and networking to get the technology out there. I already got several big names lined up for calls to explain IOTA and how it can impact their business.
Send me a PM with your skills and I'll invite you to our groupchat.

@zanzibar, your post deleted because it was a personal (group?) insult.

No worries it was obviously off topic.
