I still haven't received my tokens back. My funds are "CURL_NOT_TRANSITIONED" and I have done the reclaim process and my proof tx and reveal tx were confirmed and I got the "Any reclaimed tokens will be sent to your address shown below..." message which means the reclaim should have been successful.

How to proceed from here? Who can tell me what is wrong?

Currently, IOTA is around $ 2.173. The one-year forecast is around $ 11. This means from the current price, it will rise almost fourfold. The iota price prediction for 5 years is $ 38. This means that from the current price, it will be able to increase significantly.
This is the reason why it is one of the best cryptocurrencies to invest in currently. Also, a credit investment of $ 100 will be around $ 1782 in 2022. This marks a 17 fold increase. This is the reason why many of the investors are looking to invest in this cryptocurrency.

MAM, Masked Authenticated Message, is one of the most remarkable features of IOTA. Let us speculate the world full of small IoT devices, where their small jobs, flow of microscopic data, and nano-payments come and go all over the globe.

IOTA, whose goal is to become the very fundamental layer of coming society, is the most provident project of the time that challenges looming paradigm shift. And MAM is its core driving force, which distinguishes IOTA from other distributed ledger by making data flow and transactions much cheaper, more secure and ubiquitous.

IOTA team: How about us responding to the attack? We still think an attack would not be successful.
DCI: We are done with you, don't insult us. We are going to publish.
I guess you forgot to mention the:
IOTA team: Neha, are you sober?
just before the don't insult us.

I read the leaked emails between the iota team and DCI.

I try to make a summary of the 124 pages of emails:
DCI: hey i found some vulnerabilities in iota.
IOTA team: thanks for telling us. What is the weakness?
DCI: something with curl (don't roll your own, not peer reviewed, cryptography!).
IOTA team: thanks, we were planning to change it to Keccak. How were you planning to attack iota based on the vulnerability?
DCI: don't know, i am busy right now. When are you going to take care of the vulnerability?
IOTA team: wait let's get the facts straight and analyze your attack.
DCI: Trust me it is not done to roll your own cryptography (no go).
IOTA team: ok, but what about the attack?
DCI: You fixed the vulnerability not? so we can publish our findings, you can read the attack in publication.
IOTA team: How about us responding to the attack? We still think an attack would not be successful.
DCI: We are done with you, don't insult us. We are going to publish.

Yes, that's a good summary.

The obvious next question to ask is why did DCI behave this way, and why are other academic cryptographers like Matthew Green attacking IOTA team?

Answer is jealousy and greed as far as I can tell, these academics want to earn big money like early crypto tech pioneers, they are very jealous of CfB in particular as creator of NXT and IOTA, and they work with rivals of IOTA to make big money if they can too, and they want to use their 'credibility' to bring down a competitor.

When all this comes out, and it will, many reputations will be destroyed, but so far they are doing some short term damage to IOTA, but eventually this episode will be legendary in IOTA's history.

I have tried to search “Nicholas Weave”. No such person has been found in Google search. Is it made up name?

For example, security researcher Nicholas Weaver from UC Berkeley wrote that the IOTA team were “drooling idiots” in a tweet on Sunday

Interesting, what makes researchers of his level use such words? The words only show lack of other arguments and don't help him to keep good reputation among other researchers...

True. That only makes him look like a drooling idiot. I am amazed to see that IOTA has driven some of those academic researchers crazy and lose their self-control. They looked like trolls and talked like trolls. So they are trolls.

Any idea what the tweet of come-from-beyond could mean?

Quote
Stay tuned for the 1000th tweet.

He has been made 999 tweets. So it could be a announcement concerning IOTA or Q.

Hi all.
Which wallet do you guys use and which one is stable to use where the IOTA coins wont disappear from it?
I read a lost about peopled having issues with the wallets for IOTA.
Thanks!

The IOTA wallet is not very user friendly compared to other wallets (non iota). Also your balance might appear as 0 and you need some manual actions to recover from that shock and see it is still in the tangle.

I would either leave the iota on the exchange (has some risk) or accept the features of the current wallet or stay out of iota.

Generally it is never wise to leave money and money on exchanges, except if you do a daily trading or there is little money you are willing to lose for any reason.

When Iota finally has a good wallet, no more bugs or interruptions, then it will rise like a phoenix from the ashes and will occupy the place it deserves among the top coin.

Handbags at dawn between UC Berkeley and IOTA..

For example, security researcher Nicholas Weaver from UC Berkeley wrote that the IOTA team were “drooling idiots” in a tweet on Sunday, and Johns Hopkins cryptography professor Matthew Green tweeted that people should “avoid the IOTA project—with your brains and your money.”

it seems getting ready for another run? Price is  very stable at 1.99 to $2.01. Time to put some more in to it before it goes up anytime now.

iota shows an example of long-term investments. as in the Safinus project, you can put an iota in your portfolio

I too holding for more than a year already.

I took a step back from iota for the last 2 months. Has anything major happened recently? Is the coordinator off already? That was the biggest turn off for me at the time (being 100% centralized).
