what drug are you on? none of that made sense.

Dont get me wrong @iotatoken, Now I know you did a hardfork later, matured the idea and your child is growing healthy and big. You were legit and respected the investors. But this could be a huge scam.

There is a post where someone asked you the advantages of IOTA against other altcoins and you say: not fees. In other post someone ask how many coins and you answered him: 999 999 999. It makes me clear that you didnt have an idea in that moment the full concept of IOTA, neither no one else. But EVERYONE was buying and selling, just like the tulips in early XVII century.

IOTA are legit, did the change, correct the amounts, rewarded the early investors in legit form. But you could choose no to do it, keep the btc and disapear with 1400 btc. A lot of money.

Damn I just read the full topic, and is a pieace of badly history. Is the perfect pic of the madness of the crowd. Most of the participants didnt have an idea about IOTA at the time of the ICO, even the developers. Some guy was selling 5 000 000 iotas for 50 btc!!! Then someone talk about kiotas, nobody talked about miotas and giotas. I never knew the real price in the ICO. It really hurt me the idea that somebody could possible buy a IOTA for 1000 satoshis.
Man, the madness of the crowd, just like the book. And I'm there with a few giotas, dreaming that someday a iota would worth a buck!

Greets my friends.

How much was raised overall? JINN+BTC

Jinn = 941'297 = (0,0063 btc jinn) = 5930,1711

BTC = 930.96250857

so the total is : 6861,13360857 BTC  --- 3.035.000 USD

if my calculations are right ... wow
why the collection of  jinn was so high?

I know it's 2 years later but your question was never properly answered. And I was curious about this, so I researched it:

Sergey Ivancheglo (aka Come-From-Beyond) is the creator and founder of both JINN and IOTA. He claims it here: http://come-from-beyond.okis.ru/ Therefore he probably owns (owned?) a large amount of JINN. And naturally he allowed the IOTA crowdfunding to accept JINN investments, so he could dump his JINN and get a large share of the IOTA supply. I would guess most of the JINN investments comes from CfB and since they represent 86% of the total amount crowdfunded, it is fair to say he probably owns a very large amount of IOTA.

So it has really been a SCAM has it? Angry
This is a dead thread but not a dead project.  Slack is VERY active and it even has an exchange bot which has been quite active lately.  Updates continue to come in as well, and there are plenty of members available to assist you in getting a client running and they will aslo send you a few iotas to play with.

Also, this is not the IOTA thread. This was for the crowdsale. The thread is here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/iota-1216479 and still active. But, slack is more so.

if I have a chance to buy somewhere these tokens and what is the price for one ? thank you

I can sell you 100,000 IOTAS for 1BTC and so on. Price 1000 sats per IOTA. Maximum buy 2,000,000 IOTAS.

If interested PM.

1BTC in Phase 3 of the Crowdfund ( no bonus ) would get you over 700,000 iota.
just saying.

$10 in 2010 would get you 100.000 BTC, clearly you should wait til it gets back around that price.
nope, he should better buy a ticket to a time travel, go back in time, and become stinky rich
