Proof of genesis does not change anything. Eg I can prove I am holding IOTAs but won't deliver them.
It filters out fake trades.

I’m collecting ancient coins. This can be expensive, especially if you want to buy Greek or Roman Goldcoins (2000 years old)

How do people prove that they have iotas in the genesis?
If I was a smart buyer I would conduct 100 fake deals at low price...
If I was a smart seller I would conduct 100 fake deals at high price...
...before conducting the actual deal.
Without a proof of genesis it's not that hard.

With your help to confirm. Id be happy to do this if it would make people more comfortable.
I'm not talking about you, I'm talking in general. It's just a life hack how to manipulate the price and I shared it to warn those who haven't thought of it yet (unlike true manipulators who, of course, already came to it).
