Well this all sounds very promising. I really like the visual demonstration of the "Tangle" ledger used by IOTA. It can be found on thenextweb.com/hardfork
The target is the top five in the crypto market. I say "why not" with the latest news.

Average around 40 cent. I started buying IOTA FOMO as it was falling down to 50 cent, couldnt believe somebody would sell this pure gold. Then it dumped to 40 I bought.
It dumped to over 30 cent then I bought even more.
Holding for the next 2 years for sure. I see a market cap between 30-50 billion USD in 2018 and in 2-3 years a market cap of over 100 billion USD for IOTA. This one can be a game changer and it will be very soon used really instead just for speculation like BTC now.
Regarding Chainlink. I see that the price is awesome, its has fallen deep down, thats where I want it to be when I buy. It was near to 50 cent, now its 18 cent. Deepest price ever was 13 cent.
I went in around 17 cent. But I would not go into offtopic here, focus on IOTA this is an overwhelming project, Chainlink is a nice bet on the side.

Now I am really curious if my next call Chainlink will be a lucky one too. The price is dumped, community is psychologically done, while Chainlink could solve a massive Ethereum problem (decentralized oracles) and go x10 easy. The sweetest time to buy.
Otherwise ETH, XMR, IOTA just hodl and enjoy the ride for the next years, it can be easy like that.
Haven't heard much at all about Chainlink, but coinmarket prices state that it's not going great. I have a couple questions about IOTA though, as I got in with a minimal investment yesterday.
How much higher do you think it can go? How long are you holding for and what was your average price?

IOTA just launched the Data marketplace. Check the companies which are participating. https://data.iota.org/ this is gonna be huge. 2018 looks good for IOTA.

A paymetn system with zero transaction fee, of course that is big but what is a reasonable market cap for the coin?!

Estimates for IOT are in the 10s of trillions, so assuming iota gets 1% puts you at much larger than Bitcoin--m2m networks bring new money into the market.
Yes, I also think that IOTA is really a potential coin. Its price always fluctuates, therefore it is suitable for daily trading.

This is a very big step for IOTA. Right now, IOTA has reached the eighth rank with a market cap of more than 3.2 billion in US dollars. The price per IOTA has already reached $1.16 dollars. There will be more to come for this coin.
Yes im also holding a bag of IOTA it is one of the most undervalued coin right now. There will be a new updates for it i don't know where i read that but it is something big. Also Neo and Ada is a good coin.

Yes IOTA looks very promising but with such a massive amount of coins can we really see any more then 10x? That would place them at around same marketcap as BCH at 3place. Maybe in a few years if money keeps pumping into crypto.
This is a misunderstanding of simple mathematics.
IOTA has not more, but less units then BTC. IOTAs are not divisible behind the 0.
And yes we will see IOTAs market cap near to ETH already in 2018. If not I will eat...a hamburger.
Could you ELI5 how IOTA has less units than BTC? Is the key word there UNITS? Not supply, right?
