~ Are you in? Y

Awesome bud. I have added you with the other members who are interested here. Once I will create the main event topic, I will either PM you or mention you in the topic so that you can pay the entry fees and join the pool.

Hey royse, did you mean prediction in title? Can you please correct it? Also, can you please break it down how will the winner be chosen. What if I miss some matches?
Edit- I am sorry. I got it.

Pffrt, thank you very much. I feel ashamed about this typo. I already posted the same (copy pasted) wording all around LOL. Thanks for correcting it for me.

By the way, are you in? I would love to see you in.

Cheers :-)

For sponsor I have posted an auction in the auction board: Sponsor for IPL prediction pool 2019

I hope we will be able to manage some sponsors. I will appreciate if anyone suggest companies/businesses to bid on the auction topic.

Yeah.. apparently it is an issue to verify messages using Trezor signatures Sad

It does verify within another Trezor... lol

https://www.reddit.com/r/TREZOR/comments/8otl8q/how_to_verify_signatures_outside_of_wallettrezorio/
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/10542

Being that,
I added an Electrum address to my profile and have resigned the message.
Escrow address is the same! Cheesy

message:

Ok make sense LOL

I can verify the new one with brainwalletx.github.io

Looks interesting, following this thread.
Thanks bud.

I have already talked with minerjones to be the escrow of the fund we will collect. Got positive feedback from him so I am waiting for him to post the escrow address. Once I will have the escrow address then I will update the code.

I will also look for some sponsor once the escrow address will be finalized. It will be awesome to play together.

Cheers :-)

By the way, shall I add you in here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49895124

Pretty neat site. Easily understandable and I might just check this particular website out soon. Regarding IPL, I know a ton about cricket and IPL in general which is why I am pretty interested in this particular thread.

If you pull this off successfully op, you can count me in. I have been watching IPL since its inception and have gained a lot of knowledge regarding various players and their strengths and weaknesses.
If I count you and add you to the list then including you, we will be 4 members so far. I am sure we will find more interested members. Please confirm me if I should add you.

I am very much happy to see the responses so far.

Cheers :-)

So this is a site where you can bet on cricket games or? Could someone explain this better please.

No, this site will give you the tools to predict the match output and will manage the point system. This will determined our result.

I suggest you create an account with https://www.superbru.com and then join a cricket tournament. I hope the below explanation will help:

Again my suggestion is that create an account with them and just join PSL tournament. Use this tournament to practice you picks.

By the way, if you give me feedback that I have asked in my OP then I will appreciate a lot.

Cheers :-)

Thanks peonminer and Little Mouse
Escrow is better. MultiSig can also work if the amount is not too much. If it is, people may manipulate it, you know after all it's about money. I recommend Hhampuz if he is well known about cricket.
I will need to ask them if they have cricket knowledge however it may not be necessary because in superbru they can see the point table of the participants. Which will be easier to identify.

That's a good idea. IPL is one of the hot event in cricket world and we should have some competition here. I am not in right now just because I am not sure during IPL eill I be able to make some predictions because of my real life works. I hope I can enter later if I wish.

~ Convenient entry fee for individuals: 0.003BTC or higher

Thanks Thanasis.

We will go with Superbu. I just created an account and figured out that it is possible. However the tournament is not available yet. Once it will be available then I will create a pool and send the participants the link of the pool in their PM.

This will be an exciting one.

Edit:
Please check this list: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.49895124

A little suggestion, perhaps you can talk with all the available sports betting sites to be sponsor of this proposal. It will give benefit for both the tournament and the sports betting site who is sponsoring the tournament.
This is a nice suggestion. Thank you. Let us find the participants then I will try to find an sponsor too so that we can have a bigger prize pot.

Nice idea, it'll be a long tournament to follow. I personally feel that we should have a points system of grading just like Bitcointalk's UEFA Champions League Football Preditor Pool £25 in btc to join

~ Convenient entry fee for individuals: 0.005 BTC seems good
~ Proposed escrow: Any trusted escrow on the forum, my proposal will be minerjones
~ Distribution of the prize: Top 4 win, 1st - 40% of prize pool: 2nd - 30% of prize pool: 3rd - 20% of prize pool and 4th wins 10% of total prize pool
~ Are you in? I will wait until we decide on final terms Cheesy
Thanks for the feedback.

Sure we can do like the Champions League one. I will need to see if superbru will have the tournament. If you have anyone else in mind then please let me know. I will check them.

We can easily do the top 4 wins and the price distribution
