nope it will take time to replace btc as btc global awareness and more application more than other cryptocurrency .eth was considered a rival but eos is killing eth with its accomplishment. btc is going nowhere for few years and if lighting network is announced then btc will show spike in price.

I don't really know but according to the history of bitcoin price between 2015-2018, the price always falls every january. But this january there's a lot of bad news to bitcoin like korea bans bitcoin which affecting bitcoin's price eventhough the korean governor still considering it as major South Korean banks earned US$2 million throughout 2017 in commission for providing virtual accounts to cryptocurrency investors. I believe in the future of bitcoin. I'm assuming bitcoin is in transition phase which many countries still not ready to the appearance of cryptocurrency.
I don't think Bitcoin will fall this 2018, as you will read the history of Bitcoin or a story behind Bitcoin you will know how it will survive for the past years. The value of Bitcoin is unpredictable, if you are working with Bitcoin you need a lot of patience because the value of this is slowly increasing but fast in decreasing. That is my observation.
I'm remain optimistic that bitcoin values will continue to grow, because if seen from previous years, bitcoin value continues to increase and this year in 2018 my hope, bitcoin will grow and be accepted in all countries.
Bitcoin net will not fall 2018 and I'm sure it will be counted for many more years before the bitcoin disappears or crashes because many more benefit from it. and no more scam here. but another scam on investing on an unfamiliar website blames the bitcoin.
2018 clearly will not be the year of the fall of bitcoin. In my humble opinion you will not get the right answer you want to hear, because no one knows when will be bitcoin pump or dip. Price is upredictable and it will be always be a risk. 
Its just beginning of Bitcoin so be patient and hold. Bitcoin price is always specially from last 06 months remained in great surges so don't worry it will recover with other big record.Bitcoin is king of all crypto currencies and huge investment has done at the moment so it will continue its journey towards moon,mars and ...

In talking of price percentage downfall from the $20,000 i say YES its the biggest but in terms of actual value i will say NO because today the price value of Bitcoin at $10K is still the biggest in the history in which still it is healthy and very expensive to purchase for a new investors but anyway too early for such prediction because we are still in Jan in which lot of things will going to happen before this year will end.

Give it some time and all the FUD will settle down. Right now it is getting too much attention, most of the traditional investors who missed the train early are shorting it so that they can jump in. Once the lightning network hits, things will be different.

Nope, 2018 will be a good year for bitcoin and to the whole Cryptocurrency because as cryptocurrency becomes popular it will attract potential investors that may affect the future price in the market.
It's just that every first month of the year bitcoin's suffers from huge dips, also there are quite happenings that affects bitcoin's price like SCAM and FUDS ex. Bitconnect etc etc. But still trust in bitcoin because it will bring us to the Moon.

I do not agree with your said mate because if you look at the history price of bitcoin you will see the difference between the price of bitcoin before and the current price. i suggest you to check the history price of bitcoin currency from 2015 to 2018. Every year the price of bitcoin falls in January in many reason, but this is not the boggest downfall of bitcoin. Why'd you say that 2018 is bitcoin's downfall? Because it dropped in price? Bitcoin's price has been hugely fluctuating in price since forever; and price doesn't determine the success of bitcoin. Lightning network isn't even being currently used besides for testing, so I'd say bitcoin is just getting started.

Every now and then prices of bitcoin varies and it is common to bitcoin the good thing is it always bounces back from a fall. A lot of holders are projecting it to reach sky high so buckle up and enjoy the ride of your life. 
No, I think it is probably in a transition period. A little bit of uncertainty, but it will come out strong in the end.

We cannot say that the bitcoin downfall in 2018, yeah in this month of january there are many changes amd many dropping price of the bitcoin that now is almost at 11,000$ . but think carefully. Is this the beginning of the 2018 there's might happennings that bitcoin can rising up again. Just go with the flow anf believe to the bitcoin
I do not think so, I think the rise in bitcoin prices is something reasonable and I am sure by mid 2018 bitcoin will experience a fantastic price increase beyond the high price of bitcoin 2017 hopefully it can happen.
