Bitcoin is better but right now PayPal is further because it just gets more accepted all over the world.

They are both good but I think that Bitcoin is already bigger but just not accepted a lot what has to change soon or later.

Both has its advantages and disadvantages so it depends on the person who will use it. On which one is best suited

for him. As for me, I'd rather use bitcoin than paypal for the fact that I have a full control on my money. But For

time to time I use paypal because some merchants don't allow payments in bitcoin and the good thing about it is

almost any kind of online business accepts payments through it .

I agree with you Cheesy Both have its own betterness,
But then paypal faces too much problem now like freezing the account which people really don’t like unlike bitcoin, freedom is given to every account made and being anonymous if users is being observe.

I've had soooo many problems with paypal in the past, it's crazy!
paypal obviously has the benefits of being super easy and mainstream. almost everybody nowadays has a paypal account, whereas cryptocurrency still scares away a lot of people that have no clue and think that the crypto world is way too technical and complicated.
So I think there's no easy way to say what is "better" it really depends on the person, and on what you're trying to do with it.
Paypal has low security, there was a reduction in the funds and limits to make transaction, verify become more difficult because it requires a credit card. Not everyone has a credit card. There are strict regulation, if you broke it, paypal will block your account and your money can be lost. I think bitcoin is better than paypal.
Your statement is such a joke. what makes paypal always strictly limiting and monitoring of every their users is a prove that they're not having low security and paypal can also be verified with bank account, NOT only with credit card. if you think paypal having low security then you must learn furthermore, and if you think that credit card is an obligation for paypal then you don't know shit about what you're talking about

Paypal has low security
How about thinking of what efforts have you done to keep your account safe and secure? Is your password even secure? Does your PC have no virus?

Your Paypal account will only get hacked because of you and not because of Paypal's security. If they have low security, then hackers should've hacked Paypal already. But they haven't, that's just proves that Paypal's one of the many sites that have tight security.

Verify become more difficult because it requires a credit card.
How else are you going to verify an account that involves money? Even exchangers that lets you convert your bitcoins to fiat requires an ATM card.

Not everyone has a credit card.
Get one. Paypal wouldn't go extreme efforts to get the necessary papers for you to get a bank account. You'll need it when you have a job anyway.

There are strict regulation, if you broke it, paypal will block your account and your money can be lost.
It's your fault. You broke it. There's an agreement ("Have you read the Terms & Conditions?" That's exactly what they asked you when you were signing up.)

I think bitcoin is better than paypal.
In so many ways, yes. But not in the way you put it.

The cryptoworld wasn't made for "normal" people or at least what a regular Joe that we have right now. We're going to evolve to the type of person that has enough IQ to understand the crypto-world and not just social media sites. Paypal has a very intuitive design which attracts a lot of people. Just like Facebook/Twitter that has a very user-friendly/newbie-friendly design. Unlike Paypal, the cryptoworld is confusing for an average Joe since you have to create your wallet, make it secure, etc.

We're lucky that we're the first ones to evolve and be a bitcoin oriented person. Those people that would evolve late would buy bitcoins in a much higher price and regret that they ignored us when we tried to introduce bitcoins to them (assuming that mass adoption is happening).

For me,
I used both today

but there is more advantage on using bitcoin as method of payment than paypal but for some freelance work I guess paypal is number one

Yes, my other source of income from freelancing, I use paypal all the time. Because those people who hires me usually still don't have knowledge with bitcoin. But there are some whom I educate with it and still they want to stick with paypal. It depends on how we are going to use it even though paypal sometimes annoying still it is useful but surely bitcoin is better than it.
A few years ago I was a freelancer but the task I getting was much lesser and I was unable to get jobs because paypal is not available in my country after that I came to this forum and start doing jobs on this forum and now after hearing about XBTFreelancer a week ago I once again started to work as freelancer. It is pretty sure that bitcoin is better than paypal.

People will always stick to PayPal as it allows them to charge back. It's an essential feature that people feel secure and comfortable with. That's why I don't think PayPal will completely lose the game against Bitcoin. As long as PayPal serves a purpose that people see as something important and beneficial, they will firmly stick to it. Especially when PayPal at some point decide to lower their fees significantly.
Paypal and bitcoins currently both doing some good job but Bitcoin's mean freedom and its biggest advantage with this and mostly peoples coming in this just because of this advantage even paypal cut his fees

They have their very own advantages and disadvantages. But most of us are liking the advantage of bitcoin because it is instant and we don't have to wait for some days unlike wit paypal, it requires a couple of days before your money will be received or if you are going to wire it to your bank. And I don't know if that is real that paypal plans to accept bitcoin too.

From PayPal to a bank account takes some time yes, but I think people making use of PayPal rather wait a full working day than seeing their money go down in value in a matter of hours. Today was the perfect example for that when the price started to drop out of nothing. Good thing is that people are free to choose whichever service they want to make use of. In some cases PayPal comes out as the better option, and in other cases Bitcoin is the better alternative.

I think bitcoin is more convenient than paypal coz bitcoin is more efficient to use online coz it's don't need to take currency conversion and you can access bitcoin anywhere in the word. Unlike PayPal there are dozen country does not support it because of lack of financial system compatibility with PayPal..

For me it depends which party you are.

If you are the seller then I would prefer to receive bitcoins. Because if you receive bitcoins there is no other fee than transaction fees. You don't have topay for the fees merchants have to pay if they use paypal as their payment system.

If I were the buyer, I would prefer paypal. In paypal you have the safety of disputing the payment if you didn't receive the goods or there is a genuine complaint. Bitcoin transactions are non-reversible which would be against a buyer.
In my side not all are preferred bitcoin to send payment online they are prefer to used credit card either paypak to sent paypal i know paypal has a good security when it comes of transaction are being made it can be easy to dispute aswell but you can counter it by telling to sender sent that friends and family. Bitcoin are good bcoz it didn't need too much documents.

Yes that is a benefit for buyers and not for sellers. As paypal transactions are highly reversible, then merchants really have a problem when selling stuff as they could get scammed by their buyers if they accept paypal. The friends and family feature of paypal can also be reversed, by the way. So there is no real security for sellers.

Yes agree. I think this is something that we cannot compare, both have advantages and disadvantages. Paypal is widely supported by banks, so as to receive and send with paypal we can do at the bank. Paypal is just like the case of fiat money whose value is fixed.

While the bitcoin is cryptocurrency whose value is dynamic, depending on the market. Because the price fluctuates, for current bitcoin has advantages i.e. we can use for investment. We buy right now and tomorrow the price can goes up then we can profit. It is not found in Paypal.

For me, I will say it depends on the side one is looking at it as they both have their individual advantages and disadvantages but for me, I would pick bitcoin ahead of paypal simply because of the following reasons:

1. The ability to transfer through cross borders without even submitting any detail about yourself

2. The low costs of transaction which will not be the case when one is transferring through paypal which could be as low as 25 cents atimes.

Bitcoin is a real currency and PayPal is a pay method, I do not think that you can compare these two with each other if I have to be honest.
