The digital currency/asset market is gaining wider attention. Even though places to exchange fiat for cryptocurrencies are growing in numbers there are only a few of them that are reliable. A much faster means to reach mass adoption has come from somewhere else. The perfect use cases are “airdrops” and “coins for actions programs”.

“Slipping money into someone’s pocket is a powerful way to get their attention.”
Spencer Bogart, a partner at San Francisco-based Blockchain Capital

Not only these programs give the potential to earn “free” money for the end-users but also gives them the opportunity to test and learn about the underlying ecosystem technology powering the token. Isn’t that the way all this Bitcoin mania began? A small group of people transferring bitcoin to each other, experimenting with the concept of transferring borderless money in few minutes. Let’s remember that not only cryptos fluctuate in value like financial assets, but unlike financial assets, they can be used to enable digital ecosystems in this way they are usable or utile!

We are sharing a list of pioneers that support the idea that mass adoption will come from a combination of education, gamification and rewards. Please share your thoughts and opinions and complete the list with the other initiatives that aren't listed here.

when compared to the time we spend to get through the bitcoin faucet, I think it is not comparable to the bitcoin that we get, if we compare with cloudmining or other types of mining, but if we see a lot of mining who do not pay or scam, I guess faucets is the right choice because it proved to pay, even if just a little bitcoin we earn, hopefully there are faucets that deliver large amounts of bitcoin, making it comparable to the time we spend to see these faucets ...  Tongue

There are good faucets that play decent amount of coins per request. You can find more information from our website. It's a subjective question if it's worth the time. If you can make more money with some other method then go for it.

No faucets will make you rich but you can have some fun with trading dust on the exchanges.
Some time this fun give you big rewards as I have and bought some RDD on 4 and 6 Satoshis rate and as this RDD reach 35 I sell these and have some good amount

And the RDD price is now stable at 15 satoshi. Looks like you have bought and sold both at the perfect timing. Wink

They are useless now. Give out too little. Withdrawal limits too high. Altcoin faucets are much better.
Not really. Atleast bitcoins you KNOW has a value. Altcoins are 99% pump and dump shit schemes, you won't get anything.
Bitcoin faucets aren't there to give you more than a dollar a day, and it's no way to make an income.

You can sell altcoins.
Yeah but for next to nothing. And as soon as they obtain a substantial
value the creators pump out their pre mined coins to make a profit.

I can agree to this, and what would be so good sites of altcoins, what could be worth to roll ?

Faucets are not good if your goal of to get some really good amount of btc with them. I've been doing them for about 2 months and got around 0.005 btc. that's nothing for a months of work, so I don't recommend them, but I can post what I usually do when smeone asks about faucets:

Quote

First of all this can get you a fair amount of free bitcoins if you are patient, so don't expect to get rich of it, it's still free btc so let's grab as much as we can.

Second, we will be combining a few sites to max the profit.

-freebitco.in   ( freebitco.in )   this site can payout really high amount but you'll need to have a few referals in order to do so, but it's still one with the best and comfirmed payouts

-dailybitcoins.org ( dailybitcoins.org ) This is one of my favorite btc sites. Request a payment every hour, try to unleast, to recieve a payment and a VOUCHER. Now, redeem those vouchers and you can later sell them at Peerbet.org (just type in hte chat @voucher and paste your voucher code) or you can advertise with those vouchers. It is good to combine freebitco.in with coinurl and then put that shortened link, so you also get btc when someone views your ad

-Coinurl.com ( Coinurl.com ) great site if you have your blog or a website or in a combination with dailybitcoins. Don't have anything else much to say about this

-CoinAd.com ( CoinAd.com ) My favorite site. Very simple PTC faucet with a fairly high payouts that you can earn in 2-3 days (payouts take some time). Strongly Recomend this one

-bitcrate.me and coinbox.me   ( bitcrate.me )  ( coinbox.me )  Best colection of faucets, you can hit the minimum withdraw within a few hours and payouts are farely fast, every 6 hours I think. I also STRONGLY recomend these two

You can try getting some fair amound like this but still, for the freebitco.in you need to have a fair amount of active referals to get some reasonable amount. So I DON'T recommend doing faucets but if you want to, use this strategy and good luck.

I don't think so. It is true that you will get some free bitcoin from Bitcoin faucets but the amount is too small. I think it's just waste of your time.
