Bitcoins reside in a legal grey area within the United States. Many of the laws on the books that apply to currencies cannot apply to bitcoin, but there are questions as to whether it may be designated as a security, and hence could be regulated as such.

It's not illegal. it depends on how you use it. be responsible.

Yes, majority is using it for legal purposes only. All the transactions can be traced to your bank payments you do to the crypto exchange. Still some people like to associate bitcoins with negative things. Some of the people say that investing in Bitcoins is like gambling but this is not true. If you invest for the long term like say 1 year, you will never be in loss. You can observe this trend for last 8 years. However, some people panic when price drops and thus sell in loss.

To the best of my knowledge, Bitcoin has not been made illegal by legislation in most jurisdictions. However, some jurisdictions (such as Argentina and Russia) severely restrict or ban foreign currencies. Other jurisdictions (such as Thailand) may limit the licensing of certain entities such as Bitcoin exchanges.
Regulators from various jurisdictions are taking steps to provide individuals and businesses with rules on how to integrate this new technology with the formal, regulated financial system.

But have you come to think of it... Whether Bitcoin can be used for illegal Activities...
What are some ways you think it can be used for? (illegal Activities) mention some.

it could also be the possibility of bitcoin being used for illegal activities because bitcoin is accessible to anyone anytime and anywhere so we also can not figure out what bitcoin to use, it all depends on the investor the purpose of investing it for what

As a whole, YES bitcoin is legal.  It's not illegal to own in any 1st world country, as something that could get you tossed in jail.
While there are some countries where btc is illegal, to say it is illegal overall would be a slight exaggeration.

It seems like a lot of Illegal activities that can use Bitcoin as its transaction tool, such as Drug and Drug Selling, Online Gambling, Prostitution activities and others. and this will be very detrimental, because if this happens it will make the public trust of Bitcoin to be reduced, because the good name bitcoin to be Bad !!

Yes bitcoin is legal but in some country they says that bitcoin is illegal because they don't accept crypto. The government treat bitcoin illegaly because they want to own and they want to manage bitcoin.

Bitcoin is definitely something legal, but like all things it can be to commit non-legal actions. This is one of the reasons why it is not accepted by many countries.
