sometimes I am also confused by the status of bitcoin, legal or illegal because the government in my country prohibits the use of bitcoin as payment but they also can not control and prohibit the use of bitcoin and circulation of bitcoin

To the best of my knowledge, Bitcoin has not been made illegal by legislation in most jurisdictions. However, some jurisdictions (such as Argentina and Russia) severely restrict or ban foreign currencies. Other jurisdictions (such as Thailand) may limit the licensing of certain entities such as Bitcoin exchanges.
Regulators from various jurisdictions are taking steps to provide individuals and businesses with rules on how to integrate this new technology with the formal, regulated financial system.

But have you come to think of it... Whether Bitcoin can be used for illegal Activities...
What are some ways you think it can be used for? (illegal Activities) mention some.

Some countries consider bitcoin as illegal, and some countries consider it as legal, and I thank God that in my country, bitcoin is legal, because t is also our source of income, so that we can pay our debts.

In most of the countries Bitcoin is not legal yet but that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is illegal. However government can raise objection if you are using it for illegal activities such as trading in weapons (without permission), using it for smuggling anything or using it for money laundering purpose by avoiding taxes. One must understand that government can give punishment even if Bitcoin is not recognized through the eyes of law.

my opinion is that the legitimate bitcoin is determined by your country. if it is at the legislative level to ban bitcoin it will become illegal

If Bitcoin is supposed to be legitimate, there will be a lot of people converting their money into Bitcoin, and for storage, I think Bitcoin is now the most developed compared to other major currencies in which Ethereum is now also very High attention from the community.

The question is very interesting. In general, Bitcoin is now probably the most popular currency in the world. But many countries that forbid it simply do not know how to properly regulate cryptocurrency. I think that soon the whole world will come to its legalization.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not legal in our country. Not only our county but also most of the country are illegalized Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Because of the thought that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can be used in terrorism. That's why they don't want to legalize Bitcoin.

Some people are using bitcoins for illegal purposes but you should not forget about majority who are common people and using it as an investment medium. Governments are actually benefiting  as they are getting more tax from these people making profit with bitcoins.

For some countries, Bitcoin is legal and accepted. But then there are also bitcoin undfriendly countries that bans it.It is because, maybe bitcoin is used for illegal transactions and payments.Maybe they used it to pay for doing crimes or somethings like that.

Currently, many policymakers in the world know about digital currencies like Bitcoin, but many of them have not made laws or legal rules about digital currencies because of the complexity of digital currencies like Bitcoin. The legal status of Bitcoin and the digital currency is still a hot debate to date, but significant progress is evident in some countries.

This question is constantly being asked. The point that can not be understood here is that Bitcoin has no problem of being legal. There's no reason not to be legal. Bitcoin transfers may not be legal. Here is the problem of money laundering, trying to destroy the bitcoin. Today's banking sector can not find a solution to the money laundering problem, bitcoin does not offer a solution, but blockchain based crypto projects are trying to solve this problem. I think it's better to focus on that. The world may be a better place to find solutions to illegal currency movements, as everyone will ask whether the bitcoin is legal.

Illegal is a relative word. Illegal to what? Illegal on what? Illegal using? Illegal transaction?

As far as I know Bitcoin is not regulated which makes all the laws restraining the monetary value and capping system doesn't apply to bitcoin. That's why it is a much cheaper way of spending money.

Using Bitcoin as a means to take part in any illegal activity doesn’t make Bitcoin illegal. Doing business, buying goods, bill payment or investing with Bitcoin is completely legal. Intension is the problem, not Bitcoin.

I think many government still bans bitcoin because they not have rules about digital currency before. I think if doing some illegal activities its depending on holder not matter its bitcoin or dollars

in my own i am a positive thinker that in our country our government will make the bitcoin legal.as long as we will support bitcoin and trust it then they can see that there are so many people who likes bitcoin then that's the time they will made it as legal.
