Bitcoin- in bullish time
In the virtual world I guess it is, it has along way to go to be the strongest in the real world.
Bitcoin is not even the strongest on the internet, just look at the amount of money paypal moves and that is just paypal, how much money is just move in a bunch of screens and with the clicks of a mouse, you can move trillions of dollars that way.

Correct and it is not just Paypal. There is Skrill, Neteller and Visa powered credit cards which is the most used when it comes to onlinr shopping.
Still it is USD which is the powerful and most used because of its popularity.
Bitcoin usage and transaction is just a small part of all that transaction that is happening in the world of internet.
Bitcoin is still just a small part in the overall transaction internet but if you will look bitcoin in the future for example, 20 years from now then you can easily imagine that bitcoin can easily replace those companies that you said and bitcoin can be the most used online payment system in the internet and become one of the strongest currency.

Bitcoin needs time, and no, it's not the strongest currency over the world.
Yes bitcoins needs time to be currency and right now bitcoins started growing strong to be currency on the world
many countries started acceped bitcoins for payment daily transaction,
we could saw many corporations started adopt bitcoins on their business and it is just about time to bitcoins be currency
even still there are bugs on bitcoins, it starts going strong.
Yes, that is right. Bitcoin is just "starting" and not already the strongest because if bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world, we can see that all of the possible companies and countries are already adopted bitcoin but now it is just starting to get adopted and a lot of attention now are going into bitcoin and they are all interested in bitcoin to get adopted in their countries.
In my opinion, the reason Bitcoin want become to a value can replace old system payment and become to best choice when make payment online for all people on the world's. Bitcoin not want become to currency and control by government!
Yeah, this has been true that bitcoin is truly a multiple usage token. This has also got one feature to serve as a payment gateway as well as a currency. Based on this people valuate this to be one among the strongest currency by the increased price it has got. As stated it doesn't need to go under the control of any government in particular to degrade it's value.

Nope, it wouldn't take a whole lot to get the numbers to start going down (compared to other currencies).

As much as it pains me to say it, this is the truth.

Now, it does have the capability to become the strongest, so do take that into account.

And that capability is going to take a long time to come to fruition. Sorry.

Bitcoin just isn't well suited right now for purchasing and, without that asset in its corner, it will never be a dominant "currency".

No it isn't.
It's still gold and fiat.
But it would be because bitcoin is new.

It has been popular nowadays
and there are lots of supporters
So someday it would have the potential to become strong.

Bitcoin is growing and developing today. Although not yet very strong but I myself am very confident that bitcoin has a bright future and will be a strong currency. Because of the potential bitcoin there is. You can see the euphoria of new users

Yeah the bitcoin has a potential. The good progress of the bitcoin reflects its good quality. I believe that in the near future that the bitcoin will gather more power than today. I hope this year the value will double.
I think although bitcoin has great potential and also continues to grow. But I find it very difficult for bitcoin prices to go up 2-fold this year. See in this year the price has gone up quite a lot up to $ 2900. But anything can happen to bitcoin. Lets wait and see

I don't think Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world, because it honestly wouldn't take more than a few billion dollars USD in mining equipment to ruin it.

I think the cheapest and easiest way to ruin bitcoin is the propaganda being constantly spread about LN and Segwit. If a lot of people use that for their transactions they don't realize it can all be reversed by just one 51% attack miner. With how it is right now that can only happen for the last 2 or 3 blocks.

BTC has a long way to go.

Nope, not yet. We can still say that it's quite strong compared to other cryptocurrencies but it can still be hardly called a "currency" by some people, despite being recognized by some countries as legal. It still haven't even reached the consciousness of many people. For some who do get into it, it's more an investment, rather than a currency being used.

many people don't see bitcoin as a currency yet. Right now it's a way of earning money and i think in the next couple of years, it will remain that way until the price of bitcoin stabilizes and then it may be considered as a real currency in the likes of dollar and fiat in gemeral. And more people are now already aware of btc not just few.

Many people are just in for the profits so I doubt it would stabilize any time soon. They love the fluctuations since that's where they earn money from. With the current way things are, it would still be far off to see people using this to pay stuff instead of cash or credit card.
It is hard for those people who are not familiar with bitcoin and neither they believe in bitcoin. So me and you should provide them a good lessons about bitcoin. That the things are saying comes true soon. Everyone want easy rules in the world people are tired from foolish methods. So lets introduce bitcoin to people.

In the virtual world I guess it is, it has along way to go to be the strongest in the real world.

I disagree. What do you mean by "in the real world"? Are US Dollars not from the real world? And if they are why do they give $2,700+ for 1 bitcoin then if bitcoin is only from the"the virtual world"? I think everything which is traded for the USD has the real value and hence it's real.
Well the problem is actually of the communication. Both the US dollar and bitcoin are the real one if the bitcoin or the USD were not real then why would people trust it. The only difference in them is that the USD is a tangible asset while bitcoin is intangible asset. So, I guess the debate is over Smiley
Yes we can over it here. But the question is that to explain further to get information. Both are real but USD is not much valuable now a days because bitcoin is holding records in a market therefore bitcoin is better which is intangible asset. But more powerful than USD. So if the economy of US is become a week then the dollar price will be fall where in bitcoin the price will be never fall. It will grow day by day. So, I believe that both are real but difference are a lot of between them.

After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
US dollars has been the strongest currency till now.It has been the global reserve currency since past seventy years. Its in its final stage of global reserve currency.Bitcoin has been predicted that it would be the sixth largest reserve currency in 2030.So,it would take long time for bitcoin to become strongest currency.

One of the hottest investments right now perhaps but certainly not the strongest currency. Many doesn't even consider it a currency at this point yet, they got into bitcoin to earn moneh through it's volatile price movement. It may take a long time or it may even never happen that btc will beat out regular fiat currencies like the dollar.

Bitcoin has very good technology, so in that way bitcoin is better but bitcoin is in no way the strongest currency, this is one of those cases where size does matter and it matters a lot, but don’t worry bitcoin does not need to become the strongest currency it just need to keep on existing to prove its success.
No doubt that the bitcoin is the latest and smart technology but the rules and the tools that defines a currency as a strong one don’t fit bitcoin at the moment. We can say that the bitcoin currently is the strongest one in the crypto world but comparing it with the other currencies in the world is not fair.
When I think of strong it is something that is control by the government since they are the one who implement the law.
Bitcoin is just popular but not strong enough as anytime we can see the market crash when there is a real bad news that will trigger the investors to sell their bitcoins due to panic. I just hope it will be fairly regulated and be used by government agencies so they will also have an interest on it.

Not at all, the volatile nature of the bitcoin doesn't make it strongest currency. Strongest currency should have low volatility and high stability in price. Bitcoin is no.1 cryptocurrency and one of the famous currencies of world but not the strongest.
