i think it is , as far as i know ,theres no other cryptocurreny or other currency thats more expensive than bitcoin , we all knew that bitcoin reaches 2000$ right now , so is there other currency thats more expensive than bitcoin? apparently theres no other coin thats worth 2000$ or up other than bitcoin
Price cannot be the only metric we use when it comes to measure the strength of a currency, I think after we finally get segwit activated then the strength of bitcoin will go up since now it will be able to process a larger number of transactions and also the power of miners will diminish a little.

definitely not the strongest, transaction time is way too slow for any practical purposes. could you imagine standing in a store for 2 hours for your payment to clear?

I do not think so. The USD is still being used in many countries and the USA know how to supply and help other countries with their force and money. Therefore, we can see USD in almost countries on the world. Bitcoin is new and it is not used by many people yet. Bitcoin needs more time to develop and make more people to pay attention to it

I agree. We are still too far from the point when all the people in the world would know bitcoin and were using it. But we are going in that direction step by step. Slowly but surely.

Bitcoin is the strongest currency in the world. The sooner one realises this the better for them.

After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
Nope. However with regards to you your topic question, bitcoin is currently not the strongest currency in the world since USD still in first place. Probably in future bitcoin could be the strongest currency in the world.
yes that is right that still USD is the most popular and strongest currency of the world, but will the passage of time as soon as bitcoin is becoming popular, bitcoin is becoming stronger from time to time. i am sure that very soon bitcoin will be the most popular and strongest currency of the world.
From time to time the growth happening with bitcoin is big and the same could take bitcoin to the peak. For the same I don't think that bitcoin will be termed as the strongest currency in the world. In my view as it is at present, will serve as one among the strongest currency.

Just how do we determine bitcoins strength to other currencies because btc price alone is not enough to say its the strongest as compared to currencies like the US dollar which has a far better market in terms of demand, government backing and its known world over with no legal sanctions what so ever. I think bitcoin needs more years to be compared with fiat currencies.

Yeah right, the current price of around $2400 and is bitcoin is the biggest and strongest, 10 more years price bitcoin will reach more than $25.000 so bitcoin is the strongest currency.

Although we've seen the fall during the last days, I agree that the future of bitcoin is bright. It will become the strongest currency in the world sooner or later. Just don't panic sell now, guys and girls, it will recover in less than a month.

I can't say yes, because Dollar, Poundsterling, Euro and even other real currencies is more strongest than bitcoin. Because there are still many people that don't know about bitcoin, how to be the strongest if the people don't even know bitcoin ? But for online currencies, i can say yes.

Bitcoin is not yet at the right age to compete head to head with the current fiat currencies in any country. Yes, it is being used worldwide but too early to be compared to USD for example. And especially right now when a split is coming our way, I don't think bitcoin is as stable as the established as fiat currencies. It will find its perfection though as it grows older.

We have a lot to evaluate a strong currency not only when it is high but it depends on many other factors. Such as popularity, payment methods, security, etc. So, I think Bitcoin is not the most powerful currency because so few people know it.

Nope bitcoin is still not the strongest currency in the world it is still US dollar. We should need to wait for bitcoins to be approved by the government and make it a legal currency and maybe this is the chance that bitcoin could the strongest currency in the world.

But it's not like a currency, in my opinion, remember the commodity will have the various value. That's why there are some people trying to call the bitcoin as the commodity determined by the volatility.  The strong is not about to be the currency of the high value at the moment, but how the currency can survive in the future. This will be related to the demand as our support to keep the currency still alive in the future. You may wrong about the definition of the strong currency.

Strong is a very subjective word. Bitcoin is much more scarce than any other currency, there is a fixed supply. It is even more scarce than gold. But as far as strongest currency, nothing can compare to USD right now.

Can not be denied again that currently bitcoin is the world's strongest currency, the price of 1 bitcoin equal to $ 2500 and marketcap has reached more than 45 billion dollars.
The price of the currency is not talking about her power. It seems to me that the strongest currency at the moment is the us dollar. You can disagree with me, but that's my opinion. The dollar is the currency of the country with the strongest economy in the world. If the Federal Bank will withdraw from circulation all the dollars that the price will be higher than bitcoin.

Strongest crypto-currency maybe but strongest currency I think not yet but base on the performance of bitcoin today it has been growing fast and being known to more people in later time when bitcoin became more popular I guess I will not be surprise if it will be consider the strongest currency in the future.
When time comes that bitcoin in each country have more facilities and can be used instantly ,it can be considered the strogest currency but not yet this time. So for the mean time we just need to earn it and save some so if ever time comes we already have that so called storongest currency at hand.

Bitcoin can be treated as the strongest digital currency but it has not yet taken over the world and still it needs lot of improvements and acceptance from the society and when majority of the world will start using it at that time it can be called as an most powerful currency but still long way to go.

Where did that even come from? a lot of people wouldn't evem consider btc to be a currency but something they can earn money from. You're right btc still has a long way to go and possibly there would be a lot of room for improvements but its not going to be the strongest currency, not in a long time.

Its not actually a currency is probably the argument to that.  Online exchange secure tokens but with backing of no kind and its not sufficiently liquid ?   Not quite sure the definitions required but the negatives stated by the stock exchange vs ETF floating as a stock is probably roughly in line with why its not seen as a currency or even valid commodity.

So in that context you have to rate BTC vs absolutely every price for anything.   Not sure if its the best then, seems the most easily tradable best performer to me though.
