Yup I consider bitcoins real money, you might not be able to go to a supermarket and buy stuff with it but you can easily exchange it to USD and go and buy anything money can buy with it, I consider it real money for that reason.

Yep Bitcoin is a real money, that's why it is called cryptocurrency. It's a money on internet from which you can buy through online or just withdraw it and see it for real.  Wink Wink

When i first learned about bitcoin i thought it some kind of internet currency, an analogue of national currencies, like PayPal. Then i've realised that bitcoin is much bigger than that. I can't imagine an analogue of it (except gold maybe), and it's a real money for sure.

I am new to bitcoin and i am so fascinated how it works. But I am curious how does a bitcoin investment sites identify a bitcoin wallet address is valid? i mean i try my bitcoin wallet address and change the end letter from "W" to "h" and it was invalid. . Huh

Don't try to change anyword or number in your given wallet address because simply it will never work with you and may be another one will receive the payment if for coincidence you sent his wallet address
yeah lol Initially when I joined in bitcoin. bitcoin address very complicated, I am also confused
when we replace a single letter. it is a different address, so do not try to replace one or more letters

I think they will try to validate your address and look for it. That is how it works. This address are very unique. It is like your phone number and once the last number is changed it will go to a different person. Better use what is given.

can you exchange bitcoin for fiat? check

can you use bitcoin to buy things? check

can you use bitcoin to invest in things? check

can you use bitcoin to use it as a store of wealth? check

bitcoin can do everything that "real money" as fiat can do, plus a lot more. bitcoin is most definitely real money to me.
Yes but there is bitcoin has no real money ..
Namely SHAPE. Bitcoin does not have a tangible form that can be used as a medium of exchange.
Maybe from function I agree that bitcoin could match the real money but not to replace.

Bitcoin is definitely real money for me. I would not really think why.

Because you can include doing a lot of things with Bitcoins. You can invest, you can buy and sell.

You can also buy things with it.

No bitcoin is'nt real money
bitcoin is digital money, you can't hold it with your hand
but bitcoin working well like "real money" , you can trade your bitcoin to other currency

Credit cards are not real money too. But if in terms of trading the value of it for a thing you can use it. That is what bitcoin is too. You can use it to gain something in return. It is just called "money" now. But on the older days there is no money. That word may not be invented yet also.

When you use your ATM cards, you do not hold your fiats in your hand. It does not mean fiats are not real money. Same way we can load bitcoins into bitcoin debit card to make no difference between bitcoin and fiats.

You know, in some cases it won't be seen as real money, only because some people don't buy things with it. They buy with more established currencies. If we become more established, we are in the clear.

It for me also real money but it has some downsides.
Many stores don't use the bitcoin as a payment method.
The second one is that bitcoin has a bad name by the media.

correct but you must check. how many merchants are willing to accept bitcoin. I think it's still a problem for most users. because users typically have to exchanger to a fiat to shop. still very limited use of bitcoiin

Bitcoin is definitely real money for me.
I wonder why that could not be. I think most think the same as me.
Because you can buy things clear, and sell and you can trade with it even.

I consider Bitcoin more real than the currency of my country... I spend fckn fiat to pay tax, but I keep BTC in a vault, so precious like The Ring.

If I earn BTC from someone or somewhere I definitely don't exchange to fiat, neither if my currency were US dollar. Because I believe in a better future, I don't believe in a dystrophic world (even been realy cool in movies).

So, BTC is "real money" to me.

I also like bitcoin as real money because of it's low fees and away from taxes. I can withdraw it to fiat from online payment processor without any large fees. But the other payment processor which are using fiat have big fees for transactions and withdrawal.

yes, bitcoin real to me. because I can pay electricity bills with bitcoin I have..  Cheesy

I also think Bitcoin real money for me. Because you can buy things clear, and sales and trading. And a value for everyone.
Only the value changes every day.

Agree with you dude..as long as we still can buy and earn money with btc..btc still real money for us..
And i see now everyonr is trying using btc..so it will be good future in btc
