It's true that many people are not treating it as such, I have also seen this kind of behavior between some bitcoin owners. I can't understand this lack of seriousness to manage adequately their bitcoins, especially when there are thousands and thousands of newcomers willing to do almost anything to gain some of these amounts.

No it is not, because I can't buy anything with it in the local market to buy things.. Its not cash in hand... We can use it just for online transactions, that too many sites are not accepting btc till now. ..
you can't buy anything with bitcoin ? lol you lie. you never see google ?
you should look this, you can buy anything in the store. list store who accept bitcoin, any 75k merchants who accept bitcoin

If you read what he says he said there are not too many sites accepting it and that's true. The shopify site you linked to just lists a load of crap basically and I pretty much never heard of most of them and that's the big problem. At the moment bitcoin is just a niche thing. Sure you can spend it at a handful of sites and a load of crappy ones but none of the sites or shops I want to spend it at currently accept bitcoin and that's not very good for those who want to use it as a proper currency.

Bitcoin is real money IMO, it can be exchanged for items and services and has a value IMO, it also can be exchanged directly to other currencies and used locally almost everywhere.

I disagree, its real money for sure to me, I do a lot of things with it like buying clothes, digital goods and other stuff.
Also why should you not consider it as real money you can pay with it and its treated as real money by the most people.

Bitcoin is definitely real money to me. I can buy stuff with it and you can sell it. You can even buy Bitcoins with real money.
I think it is for the most people real money. Because people use it a lot for their daily life. You also can buy some food with it.

For me its additional income and i can convert it to real money
So simple answer is yes
Yes outline bitcoin can be used as an additional income but for the money I do not agree with the original full for bitcoin not yet have a form to purchase directly.
But bitcoin can be used for online transactions so that it can replace the function of money as a medium of exchange.

Bitcoins is definitely real money to me. I think it is real money because it has a value. Without a value it is not real money.
But I think for the most people it is real money, you can buy stuff with it and invest, so thats make it real money.

If it aint real money to you then why are you still here? Just wasting your time for a Bullsh*t post or just trying to read some more if it is really real or not. The website says it all if you are here you are in to some bitcoin usage or profit.

yeah, i think it is real money for me, i use it often and i never had any problems paying with it, because of that it is real money

That's true but the major issue is I can only use it online and not physically to buy anything from physical shops, but I convert my bitcoins to fiat, which takes care of my purchases, so it is a real money.

Maybe in your country or location, it is not possible to buy things in the local market with your BTC yet, but there are some places (like in the US) that accept BTC at local shops. But as BTC grows, it will get adopted by more merchants and then we will see the possibility of local stores accepting BTC in most countries. When that day comes, BTC would have become mainstream. BTC makes it the ideal crypto for online transactions. Everything is just a snap.  Cheesy

Have you ever bought something with bitcoin? If the answer is yes then it's real money.

Yes but not directly with bitcoin, but by converting it to local currency, if we are getting fiat by using bitcoins and if we can buy something using that fiat than it becomes  a real currency.
