Of course it's real money. You can use it in any way you want to buy food, clothes or anything else. With time there will be more merchants accepting it.

Yeah it's like real curency if you can buy products every day. I think of it like a paypal alternative.

An average Joe might look at bitcoin as an alternative to paypal, to consider bitcoin as real money. Same way we can see bitcoin as alternative to gold when considering it as investment.

I don't see difference between dollars and bitcoins, when we talk about using bitcoin as money..
When we talking about storing value, bitcoin have more in common with precious metals.

That is very right. It is like a commodity which have higher value and someday will have more value once miners depleted all bitcoins. It is limited just like gold and silver. It will run out, it cannot be created again. This types of things are the ones valuable nowadays. The most rare it is the higher the price.

Yes,It is real money to me.There is no reason to not take as real money when I can do everything with it what fiat money can make for me.I use it more efficiently and faster with more freedom while fiat money still put me in some complications.

Bitcoin is and always has been real money to me also, reason being the opportunities and sites where I can spend them. I dont know of others but I can cash them to my own currency and hence BTC is real money for me at least.

My gut feeling tells me it's real money, even tough in reality i guess it's a virtual good that has an economic value? I wasn't that good at economics at university, so i'm not completely sure if this statement is valid.

Yes Bitcoin is real money to me because i can use it to make deals and trades easily just like fiat and other currencies

Nowadays many stores which receive bitcoin, it is the reason why bitcoin becomes real money for some people. They can use bitcoin as their currency as well.

Yes i noticed more and more making money sites, and some used marketplaces started to use Bitcoin as payment processor and support it, that's encouraging more people to use it as well

Ofcourse Bitcoin is real money to me. I can pay with it I can buy something with it.
So why it is no real money to me. Ofcourse its not cash. But you can exchange it in cash later.

Now bitcoins has become proper currecy because it is using worldwide. It is real cash for me because I am doing my all transactions in BTC. Many people using it daily for their transactions. BTC already taken the place of real money in day to day life and helps to make online payments more easier.

Bitcoin has not evolved as a local currency, still it can be considered as a local currency just by the nature it has got as other currencies in our daily life. Only very few places it has got the use of bitcoins as local currency and the remaining is just used in the web stores and transaction purposes.

When I'm started reading on bitcoin I've learned more and used it.For me it's a real currency.

I guess the question should be changed so that we can tell more. and not simply answer "Yes, it is real money to me" Should've put a secondary question which is "how?" or "share us your experience" So that if anyone back reads here, that person may see what are the different ways you can use this currency.
yeah sure even I am also thinking what to say about it. or should I say that yes the bitcoin is real money for me because it pays me through the local currencies from any atm around the world. so its real even its a digital in internet.

yes i agree. bitcoin is real money to me because bitcoin is online digital currency but i can change anywhere ,anytime ,any currency for me own currency change.
I think if we could buy anything with bitcoin, without the need to exchange it to fiat money. bitcoin worth into real money, but it is currently very difficult to find merchants who accept bitcoin

I see here many different opinins. With some of them I agree but with most of them I dont. For now bitcoin is not real money for sure, I saw one comment this days here about bitcoin is on 10 % now. I agree with that, bitcoin is still young and there is lot of things to be donne before we can say that bitcoin is real money. For now its good for many things, but in real life u cant use it (that depends from country, in some its possible I think).
