When I started reading on Bitcoin, I thought this was just an Internet token

LOL , for me bitcoin is like another bullshit on internet when I was first time told by my friend, but then I got my first bitcoin and exchange it into real money, then I said "it's not bullshit, it's real, maybe I'm gonna rich haha", but seriously, slowly I'm changing my way of looking at bitcoin, it's real money
just like me, the first time I think about bitcoin is about tokens that are used for gambling, but once I know more deeply, it is bitcoin digital currency on the Internet just like paypal

I always take bitcoin seriously and as a real money. Bitcoin has its own importance to me. Bitcoin gave me lots of business opportunities and now I treat it like real money and beyond that also.
Gold also can provide many benefits and you can make a lot of business with the gold, you can also invest in gold,
but the gold, never mention gold as currency? why ?

If you can use it to do trading and other people accept it, then it's real money for me.

Yes, Bitcoins can be consider as real money if you know how to spend it and where to spend it. There are many things you can do with the bitcoins just like our traditional fiat currency, eg- online shopping, paying bills etc.
Thats true I agree with it, bitcoin is a real money for me because whatever we earn in bitcoins in the digital world we do trade and exchange it our local currencies so the real money is coming out from ATM.

Let's also not forget that Bitcoin indeed has a lot of a way to go in order to be considered real money. However in some cases, it is treated as such. With that in mind, I do not understand why certain people do not want to treat it that way

yeah, i would like to consider bitcoin as real money too. and it is real money since it has value and you can purchase things with it. but sometimes lack of goods to purchase with bitcoin and the volatility makes it hard to accept it as a currency.

Yeah, but things will change in future when bitcoin will become a global currency and when we can find many physical shops that will accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Bitcoin is always real to me as long as it holds value.
Value makes the coin in the end in my opinion.
That is why I am not intrested in most altcoins because they are not holding any value or trust.

it is hard to consider bitcoin as real money when sometimes you have to wait half an hour to get a confirmation on a transaction so that you can be sure you have received the money (bitcoin)!

Well, using bitcoin you can also buy and pay something online like real money function. So i think bitcoins is really like real money to me. well, about confirmation on a transaction i agree with you.

Of course Bitcoin is real money to me. It has a value and you can do a lot of things with it.
I hope later that it will be more worth so you can buy some good things in the future. And I think it will rise soon.
Yes bitcoin does have the same price as the money and we can buy what we want in selling online, but now we can buy direct because there are some stores that offer payment with bitcoin.

Yes it is a real money to me...I pay my cellphone load with it, I sometimes convert it to fiat and withdraw it to buy something in the shops,  It can't be traded to dollar if it is not a money. so it is a real money to me..

Pretty much! Bitcoin is a real money to me as I can recharge my cell phone, refill the skype credit and also convert it to fiat at the time of emergencies, so if I  am getting hard cash by converting my bitcoins, then its real to me.

Well, this is interesting question Smiley
What is money?
It's means to buy something, it's something what have value and for this value you can receive something else, with equal value...
If we define money in this, most simple way, bitcoin is 100 % money.
Of course, there are a lot economical theories about this subject but i will not go to much deep in this.
In simple terms, bitcoin is money, no doubt about it Smiley
