I was watching some youtube videos yesterday, youtuber that isn't so popular and he is making the same predictions. I admire the analysis that he conveys but I'm not going to depend with those anymore. No one holds the market and what's going to happen, no one really knows and no one can tell. The same words has been heard few months ago and some already failed and stopped predicting. But logically, I'm sure that many of us are waiting for the reversal.
Generally, the bullish sentiment is actually brewing gradually, and we are even getting to see some news recently that would probably bring about more bullish sentiment as we move on to the end of the year till next year.

However, everything would still have to take time and we will most definitely get to see how things would have to turn out first, but for now, we just have to assume that the possibility of a bullish move is there based on optimism anyway. However, if we are really to look at it now technically, it is not actually something I expect until at least we see a break out and we are still currently on the verge of possibly seeing that happen either ways.

According to Technical analysis, at the end of 2018 or at the beginning of 2019 the trend will reverse. We are looking for a bottom at the moment and looks like 5.7k USD is our bottom. Even we can go below this level I think the recovery will be quick and then we are going to start next bull run.
By the way, the bull run does not mean a new all-time high in 1-2 month. Bull run means the trend start to go up (higher highs and higher lows) of course all-time high will come.

We are going to soon resume bullish trend like it happens last year and I think most of the good news that has been coming up is to prepare ground for another bull run.  We have never have serious price upwards movement this year and I think that is about to start.
Most of the altcoin markets are beginning to make some move recently and we can see the rate at which volume is kicking in gradually. I so much believe that there is a possibility of seeing some bullish attempts before the year runs out but it still all depends on how bitcoin ends up which to me right now looks good within the triangle as it keeps testing the upper resistance and that shows some possibility of an upward breakout.

I guess the only main thing we would need now is patience and then wait to see how things would eventually turn out before the year runs out or what becomes of bitcoin before the month ends as that would really give us an implication of what would be happening at least in the short term.

This subform is probably the worst place on the internet to try to figure out bitcoin's future price moves. Most of the predictions are based on pure fantasy and hope rather than logic.
The bear market just started, things won't turn around until 2020 at the earliest.
Nope we are 10 months in the bear market, and I don't call that "early" as it will be 2 months out to make it a year. And talking about price movements I don't think that there is any accurate price prediction as long as what we are holding is a speculative asset all our price fantasies is possible of happening. Aside from speculating the next big thing you can do is to analyze it's price charts which is also won't give you an exact price prediction. You might think their price prediction is not believable as it is way different on what you are hoping for.

Do some research on why we had a price increase yesterday. It was because of rumours about USDT. Not because of organic demand.

So, are we setting up for a bull run? No one knows. People and news sites have been saying the same crap for months. Stop giving them too much publicity on such crappy articles.

Dynamics like that can trigger wider moves but in theory that bigger move should be foreseeable from a number of perspectives in any case.    It does all come down to probability not certainties but the smart cookies know when the odds favour them making a move over staying still.

Regardless of trying to guess the exact price move just what BTC did so far, that whole development will have wider longer term consequences of raising awareness and involvement from across many parts of industry not already paying attentions.    Its never just one time frame that moves the tide imo

Experts claim Bitcoin could be on the verge of a bull run. Read why they think the market will begin growing exponentially and when is expected to happen so you can prepare your portfolio: https://cryptocoin.news/news/is-bitcoin-setting-up-for-a-bull-run-20800/

Do you think this will happen in 2019?

They did made some analyzations so they made a speculation like that. You can take that as reference but up to you if you will buy the speculation.

Do I think that bull run will happened in 2019? You know what matters here is, this year,  btc price was really tested. Lots of attempts had being made to bring down the price much lower to the established price bottom this year but didn't happened. We can now somehow determined the established "bottom price" which is a good starting point if ever a bullish run will happened.

Im fine with the trend that happened this year eventhough no doubt I loss some on the way because this trend shows us what's the "real price" after the not well strong 2017 hype.

I wouldn't have guess I would miss even $7k prices at this point but the price has been incredibly boring for the longest time and people are getting out of bitcoin and into other sutff because the price of bitcoin has been really stable and people are yearning for a bull run. However, I believe as soon as there is a legit price change and the people see the price breaking $7k - $8k - $9k and so forth levels one by one they will come back and what happens when everyone joins into it once again ?

The price starts to go high faster. That's what happened when going to $20k, when it was going from $3k to $4k it was harder but once the price reached like $8k than everyone started to buy thinking they are missing out on a great chance and the price jumped to $20k easier than it went from $3k to $4k. Which means price may hit $7k-$8k or whatever now but may go down however if it reaches 10-11 type of levels than I am sure its going to get easier to jump in price.

The market is a bit stable and since last 2 months it has been moving in range and that is a sign that the bullish trend is about to commence as the bear cannot pull bitcoin price down further.  I also think that now is the right time to buy bitcoin and all those altcoins that has large market capitalization.  I think that another history is about to be make again in cryptocurrencies market.

bitcoin is not yet on the "verge" of a bull run but it is moving towards the bull run. in other words we are currently taking the first steps towards the series of rallies which will end up with a new set of all time highs and will eventually end up with a new ATH and a new bubble.

in any market it has always been like this after a bubble. specially when the asset is still growing and being adopted. after the correction we need a stable phase like this for the market to recover and then begin the rises slowly and then eventually end up with big cash flow in.

This is exactly right. We are currently in the stable period between bear and bull markets. No we aren't in a bull market yet, but it is very high confidence that we are out of the bear market, and the next bull market should slowly start in the next 2 - 6 months. Looks for a move above the last lower-high of the bear market of ~$7400 as the first signal of a new bull market. If the price then moves above the second to last lower-high of the bear market ~$8500 then that should be confirmation a new bull market has already begun.

A bull market, or an intermediate bull trend? An uptrend from here won't decide that. There could easily be a bull trap in our future before another leg down.

A break upwards here could also just be part of a larger sideways pattern, e.g. a triangle. All I know is, it hasn't even been a year since the ATH. Nobody should be surprised if we stay in a corrective/bear market for a while longer.

Well nothing is in impossible if we believe but it's hard to say right now if what will be the situation of the crypto market. There's nothing we can do but to observe and continue what we do in crypto in every day life.

well for me in my personal opinion i believe that bitcoin will prepare to bullish again on year 2019 which is im pretty  not on this year because it's very late now and indeed market still no progress which is impossible to recover easily back to the previous records, so for sure on year 2019 there's a tends but i have still doubts because of some causes that always exist to manipulate the price .

I very seriously doubt the price will drop below the established baseline of around $6000. If it does it will be from a few whales desperately attempting to crash the price to get in lower, and it won't last long, but I don't think we'll see under $6000 again most likely.

So yeah we are in the low volume, low volatility transition phase leading into the next long bull market. This phase started roughly early September, so we're already 5 or 6 weeks in. There is no way to know how long this transition phase will last. I wouldn't be surprised if BAKKT opening next month is the catalyst needed to start the bull market, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the bull market doesn't start until as late as March. But either way now is the time to buy and the next two years we should see another exponential growth spurt into the 6 digits for Bitcoin.

For the recent roller coaster ride that we've been part of on the recent bitcoin's journey right now, I foresee that bull run was just finding a good start before it hits the trigger for a good shot in the next days to come for few days of October and November. Many of our holders, definitely been gripping their belt for this is a travel which we can't expect great but still people who has determinations managed to handle emotional stress behind.

Bitcoin is not only suitable for bull market, but it will also become a promoter of the bull market. Why? Because ETF! This is the most likely possibility of driving the market this year!

It's not going to happen fella. If people were still having some degree of hope that the SEC would let an ETF come through, they can thank the drama/fud around Bitfinex for slimming down the chances even further. All the market making happens on non compliant USDT exchanges, so what do you think the SEC's thoughts are right now? I can't even blame them to be honest.

The only increase in price this year will be related to Q4 seasonality, so you can be sure of the fact that most of the increase we'll book in the last months of the current year will be undone in the first months of 2019. It happens each and every year. It's a returning crypto cycle. Look up the charts and you'll see that it's true.

Buy now. Sell in December. Buy back in March or April. Or keep hodling if you don't want to speculate.

This is to be taking seriously and it means this is the right time to invest in cryptocurrencies.  I have thought of this bull run at the end of the year and I hope we Witnesse another bull run this year again.  However,  there is a need we invest with carefulness as the day -traders may take the advantage of little price appreciate and sell off in other to bring bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies price down.

We experienced so much bear market this year and I believe its time now for bitcoin to pump again. We may not see a strong bullish trend this year, or even for the remaining months of 2018 I still believe bitcoin will end at a higher price. The market is having a good rest in the past months, its time now to work again and make a new ATH.

It's hard to tell, if we are getting more and more stable or if it's just building a stock pile of black powder for it to blow up (price wise up). There have been a ton of good news recently and I think things are just waiting for that one ignition.
There is no sure about this market, bull market is just expected to happen but still there is no guarantee about it. Have faith on bitcoin and in time, the price will pump again. More good news means more investors will come, let's just keep on spreading good news about bitcoin and I hope no more scams/hacking news about cryptocurrency.

I think we are definitely getting closer to a bull run considering we have been stagnant for the past 5 months however we can never know how long this will be. The only logical argument here is that if we are eventually getting closer to a bitcoin that worths a lot more than this than all we need is time and since we are passing time with each month it has been stagnant logically it has been getting closer to a bull. The question here is that are we on the 5th month of a 7 month stagnant market that will skyrocket in the 7th month or are we on the 5th month of a 18 month stagnant market that will skyrocket after 18 months? If it is the first one than we are very close to getting that bull run soon but if it is the second one it is still good that we are closer than we were 5 months ago but we are still quite far off to it.
