Sharing my experience. The stats aren't lying, but they're missing a lot of context. Blockchain developers were and still are a rarity. The very best are already employed and the upcoming ones are snapped up, supply vs demand is what drives salaries. Same as C-level positions.

But coming down to all the regular stuff. Tech support, marketing and communications, legal and tax, HR, etc. They're all tech industry standard.

Of course, being a developer of blockchain is in high demand as it is not only important in the cryptocurrency. Blockchain is currently being used as one of the largest blockchain networks in different fields, such as finance, politics, and technology.

Blockchain is the mainstream when it comes to a network so we can quickly build different A.I. Usage of proprietary and open-source data from the system. Therefore, technology is going to advance and develop really fast as blockchain adaptation occurs in various aspects.

The bitcoin has extended its recovery this Thursday from the lows of last Saturday, at $ 8,500, and accelerates on the way to $ 10,000, price levels at which it was trading before the 'flash crash' last weekend and which caused a 15% correction in the blink of an eye. The creation of Satoshi Nakamoto rises more than 8% and accelerates towards resistance at $ 10,500, where technical analysis sets the frontier for a change in trend.

While companies are interested in this technology, blockchain as a career sounds good.
It just doesn't sound good but it actually is. This article may look a bit old and around 2 years ago but that's during the bear market. And this statement came from LinkedIn, a well-known career platform.

LinkedIn: 'Blockchain developer' is the No. 1 emerging job

So, if it was trending during the bear market how much more when the market looks healthy.

At this point, you have to invest about 20 weeks or so part time at least to let the concepts of BTC sink is and be come conversant with

keys/private keys

Change addresses

how to secure and back up btc

how to deal with other cryptos

how to deal with good and bad exchanges

how to understand basic metrics

be scammed out of about 5% of your Crypto investment by the failure of the exchange, yourself or other error.

how to dump various wallets using pywallet etc

how to run secure computers

how to become os/computer agnostic  and back up essential files.

how to have back up systems

sift through trading options

come to terms with big block and small block arguments

deal with forks

then you have to spend every so many weeks a refresher so that you remember how to access everything again.

have a passing understanding of hash rate/miners incentive/ pow / pos options

understand the main classes of crypto.

buy and play with some dogecoin (probably the best crypto to mess around with because its cheap per unit and you can learn a lot and use on a lot of exchanges)

Read through how exchanges and wallets scammed people, failed or had bugs

Get a VPN that's good

Buy a NAS.

Have a passing understanding of the codebase (generic over view is ok)

It takes some time.

Blockchain skill would give a bright future for anyone who learned it. You can create a contract of your own as long as you are good at it.

Because of the lockdown I think many of us would have to look for careers online and perhaps watching video tutorials to learn career path. There are dozens of video tutorials for blockchain developers in udemy I guess due to lockdown we all have time to watch them as well. I might try if I just have the chance. Being jobless this time however forces many people to work instead or get busy doing something else than learning something.

In today's era, computer students should learn some basic ideas of blockchain to expand their knowledge about this ongoing trend. If they plan to pursue their studies, they can go to some universities that teaching some courses about blockchain technologies. They could get some online courses if they don't find schools near their place. I see some future plans of Saudi Arabia about what they are planning to invest in the future and one of them is the AI, this is a blockchain related technology, you can get hired to further study it along with some other blockchain stuffs.

Having a career on blockchain might be the dream of everyone who is in the cryptocurrency world. But education about blockchain is very lacking in my country. Skills about blockchain are hard to get, just self-taught. To become an Expert on blockchain takes a very long time.

The salary provided is quite large and it's one of the attractions why many people who want to pursue a career on the blockchain. Some even take Blockchain science courses.

The development of a very broad blockchain technology will make Blockchain a very promising future career.

Building a career in a blockchain is one among the simplest decisions you'll make at the present . Blockchain technology is shaping the industries to form it more efficient and trustworthy. Because the technology is new, there aren’t much-skilled personnel around to develop the solutions.
Indeed blockchain technology is career that is becoming popular and lucrative while experts in that skill are highly sought after however my belief is that the programming aspect of it is much difficult ie requires deep knowledge in programming languages like C++, JavaScript, python etc mastering those languages is a must to become an expert.

This article I found i cointelegraph site who stated that for those someone who work related to blockchain has a high payment https://cointelegraph.com/news/blockchain-jobs-are-the-highest-paying-tech-roles-in-the-uk I can't refuse it because it is reasonable since the people who know blockchain is still rare. Whereas the company who want to implicating the blockchain system to their system very much. Blockchain is offered a lot of convenience andand cut big costs so as it will be reasonable for those who want it.
I have also saw in other thread here about the Compensation of Blockchain employee and it says too Huge for a single person.
Because they are offering this for those people that dedicates their life in developing and technologies.

So about OP?yeah if you are qualified and fit then surely you are entitled for this career though i know that this is for limited people only as the company who hires are not that in demand as of now.

With no doubt, blockchain is one of the best careers one can pursue at the time. It is highly in demand and you get to be a part of something big. Not to mention, you will get high salaries in these top blockchain careers. It is due to the fact that the need for such positions are high and the people with relative knowledge are less. Among all the jobs required in the field, only half of them are being met. This means that there’s a shortage of blockchain professional with sufficient technical knowledge.
Can you provide a source to back up this information? I can see that Blockchain is a skill in high demand, but I can't see this data about only 50% of jobs being covered due to the lack of specialists. Blockchain is certainly a good choice due to the combination of high demand with low awareness of this demand. As a school teacher I know that the majority of pupils choose typical careers of lawyers, economists and doctors, having no idea that the world that awaits them might need good doctors but is already full of lawyers and economists. A problem with Blockchain is that, new as it is, it's not something you can learn by choosing a relevant university degree, so many try to choose from what there is to study officially. In any case, I think what's a good career depends largely on personal aspirations. One should choose what one loves, and then look for ways to incorporate this activity into something that can bring money, not the other way around.

If we talk about careers, It's an absolutely good career knowing that blockchain technology is still growing and being adopted by some companies. Actually I heard the news from my mentors that a certain I.T related company here in our country is building their blockchain-like system and this can open many jobs for computer-related courses and freelance programmers out there. Gaining information about blockchain technology isn't bad and it might be a good-paying job since not every programmer know or familiar on blockchain technology.

Yes, it is a good career for it promises us of good salary package compare to other jobs that may only give us enough for our daily necessities. However, in every career, we take we need to know if this is what we really want for we need to have passion for our job so we may excel in it. Another might reason is the salary is really enticing but we may not last long in this career if we will not learn how to love the blockchain, IMO.

There some surveys that prove that blockchain developers get the highest salaries. Blockchain is an extremely good choice for a career, of cause, if you are skilled one.

Um, blockchain jobs aren't high paying. If you're talking about helping develop a token that's a mediocre salary.

So if you ask me if blockchain is a good career I'd say no. You can make more way more money from being a software architect or program manager.

It's true that blockchain can open up jobs, because blockchain technology isn't just specific to cryptocurrency. However, it can be used in
various sectors, so from several companies definitely need employees who master the blockchain. Especially technology companies will
surely provide a large salary. Therefore from now on the blockchain must be studied in school. So when you graduate from university it will
be easier to find work and will provide a good career.
