Actually, every career is worth having, it will all depend on your wants and passion. There are some careers that are not interesting for someone but really appreciated for some other people, so it only means that everything will be worth it depending on the perception of the people. If you are interested in cryptocurrency and you see really great about technology then I can say also that blockchain is really great for you, having a career related to the technology will be more worth it, especially in the future because we are now at the 21st century where in technology becomes more known and well used by many people.
If I amn't wrong you have to know C++, Python, Java and other programming languages to start your career as a blockchain developer, right? So if a person knows C++ well, he/she will get a high paying job in any way.
Btw I haven't heard if anyone works in gov job because of blockchain cause as far as I know governments hire blockchain developer companies. For example Georgia hired Bitfury to further develop and integrate blockchain technologies in services like land title registry and etc where there is a need of extra layer of protection on stored data.

Those developers, most of them, have their own career even without being employed as they can work as freelancers. That is the beauty of blockchain technology. They can develop their own projects even at the comfort of their homes. But it still depends on the developer, his strategies on how to make his project successful.

I don't think so! Blockchain can be a career for a very few percents of people who are too expert at it but otherwise, it's no! Just look at your side, how many people you see choose blockchain as a career? Almost 70% of the crypto project won't last for 5 years, then what will you do after 5 years? What if bitcoin price goes under 2K USD? you can't ignore this possibility! I suggest do a job, take crypto as a part-time earning method!
I do think that when it comes to blockchain you can actually do ahead and earn like a hell lot of money if done correctly.

We cannot say that blockchain is a profession. Therefore, you must find a profession to build a career. We can describe working on a blockchain-based project as a career. In fact, I think it may be one of the most beautiful areas to work in today's conditions. I work as a community manager for several projects. Even if I am not fully involved in the project, I enjoy this job. In other words, working in the field of blockchain will create a beautiful vision for the near future.
Currently the best in my opinion is the Blockchain technology, not just a database from what we know from kindergarten, the building of sophisticated softwares for companies and maintain their softwares will be great if one can take Blockchain as a career in life. Personally, I have always dream to be a good Blockchain technologists and have started from the lower level and hoping to be up with other professional challenges. Blockchain programmers are having a good pay at the end.

Blockchain would be a good career if you can learn everything about it. We are realizing that day by day blockchain technology is expanding worldwide and it isn't limited with cryptocurrency anymore. Especially who is on stage of choose a career for future they would choose blockchain to study about it and become expert. You shouldn't expect high salary at the beginning, once you will become well known expert then companies will find you with reasonable salary. Rather than focus on salary we should encourage new generation to involve with blockchain technology. We can see lots of blockchain expert become established on that field, so they would be a good example for new generation and they would motivated by this way.
There has been an increase in demand for professional who are good in Blockchain after 2017. Recently Facebook also hired a good amount of professionals for it Libra project. New start up are coming out will help solutions using Blockchain technology. In my opinion it is one of the most demanding and best profession at this time.
