Day 27.9.2018 I have sent 0.186 BTC to my CEX.IO wallet, since I wanted first to test them ( I was curious do CEX.IO lie since nobody like to get scammed) because I would invest more if CEX.IO were legit.

Next step was exchanging from BTC to USD in trade section, after that I added my Visa card, verified it and ofcourse account state was changed from basic to verified.

Same day 27.9.2018 I committed withdraw of $1000 to my linked Visa ($996 should have arrive and $4 is fee).

Today 30.9.2018 I STILL DIDN'T RECIEVED ANY MONEY wich I did withdraw to my linked card. CEX.IO is NOT RESPONDING on my tickets.

$208 has been left into my CEX.IO balance and I thought I should withdrawn those funds too. After committed withdrawn CEX.IO rejected with no reason at all.

I sent an message to customer service and I recieved trash reply.

All what I get is junk and trash replies like:
- "Thank you for contacting us. I will escalate this matter to the concerned department. The person in charge will get back to you in the nearest possible time for assistance. Your patience on this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for understanding. Best regards".

Now after recieving trash reply I committed again same withdraw with same amount of money $208 and funds were automatically approved wich is sketchy.


CEX.IO don't give a sh*t to solve customers problem, their customer service is real trash since CEX.IO stealing from their customers wich is proved by MINE and other customer situations with them.

If I lie those people wich explaining their own problems with CEX.IO are not lying, CEX.IO is goddamn SCAM.

What CEX.IO is trying is to SCAM then if someone is reporting CEX.IO then CEX.IO would refund the customer but only the customer wich committed report

I've been blocked by those uploaders of videos where I left the comment and warned via PM.

I'm giving you an advice as to my son, NEVER use CEX.IO for anything, CEX.IO are SCAM and only a SCAM, CEX.IO will try to feed you with low fees for CC or no fees at all for bank transfers (SEPA).

And as we know for their scamming, CEX.IO will probably as  sh*t-trash human counter-use your documentations wich you've sent for verifcation proposes for their criminal proposes (Fraud).

God bless you who got scammed like me and we will get them, day by day we are closer to them, at least if we don't FATE and KARMA will do their job for them.

Wanted to deposit 5K. Already fully verified, but had to again provide all information. That did not lead to anything so asked to cancel the deposit and send the money back to my bank account. I send the money on the 13th of November and still the money is not send back!

Finance is working on it they say, but then nothing happens. Had to provide again all info that they have provided initially and again nothing happened.
I have been very patiënt but very close to taking legal steps.

It seems that CEX is also reading this thread so solve this issue and prove us wrong in thinking that CEX has turned into one big scam!

I am not directly and only referring to CEX with this, but I have the impression that exchanges in general delaying fiat withdrawals are largely suffering from a lack of liquid means to let people actually cash out their funds. Some people speculate about exchanges to be insolvent, which more and more seems to be a likely scenario. It has nothing to do with scams, but more the fact that the massive increase had lead to such a newly generated level of wealth, that certain exchanges just can't let certain people cash out anymore. It has become a structural problem that a lot people are suffering from nowadays....

The big problem is the withdrawal as already said: sometimes is instant, other time takes days (same source, same destination)!

I am in the same situation. I have asked to withdraw USD and GBP, in 3 separate occasions, in December. For all of them I have received the e-mail confirming the withdrawal, yet I received nothing so far.

The first transaction, amounting to around 20.000 USD, was confirmed in date 2017/12/26. 20 work days and counting.

All the support tickets I opened about the issue got marked as "SOLVED" after an hour or so (probably automatically) without even a word of explanation, no response at all! This is at best a very unprofessional behavior, and indeed feels very scammy. If the transactions have been done, it should not be a problem to provide their details (as I asked in the support tickets).

I do not believe (yet) that CEX is a scam, but the customer service and the withdrawal times definitely need to improve.

I will post an update as soon as something changes.

The issue is caused by the high load on our payment partner and longer transactions processing time. Still, we are working on the resolution of the case. Hopefully we'll manage to do it in the shortest time possible.

After the announcement that USD and GBP withdrawals via bank are suspended, I received all the money back to my account. Not what I wanted, but better than the limbo in which they were stuck before. I hope the problem will be fixed soon and the website will be fully functional again, this is a big turnoff for traders.

I have been trading with CEX.io for a couple of months and did a test withdrawal of bitcoin to my wallet yesterday and the [Suspicious link removed]ived in my wallet in just under an hour. So no problems at all.

When i was withdrawing i put in correct address. So do the email from cex.io says. If this wallet really belong to cex.io thats a totally scam. The hash of this transaction is showing up as succesful. But the hash in the cex.io "Sorry, we are unable to locate this Transaction Hash". SO WTF?

Yes 0x75e7f640bf6968b6f32c47a3cd82c3c2c9dcae68 is there ETH wallet I think, Whats about "Sorry, we are unable to locate this Transaction Hash" this is problem for I think all they need to send transaction to network they have not done this so eth network have no information about transaction, not sure what they are doing still as 5-6 days already gone they can easy fix this like is doing poloniex or any other when this kind of problem occurs they rebroadcasting transactions with higher gas but seams cex.io don't know what to do or don't care

Hi. Copy yours eth wallet address from cex.io which you can get by chooseing deposit. Then paste that address to etherscan.io. There you will see where your eth gone. I think they are waiting for more eth pumping. Then after dump they will send our eth to us... I dont have any other idea.

I think eth have foul to pump to 1300-1500 so this can't be a reason, I think they don't have blockchain tech guy or this guy don't know what to do and they really waiting for eth network to confirm transaction which not exists Cheesy But we should think positively if ETH still will be able to confirm such transaction we can see eth at 2500-5000 this will be new exclusive tech of ETh (Telepathic Communication With Blockchain)Cheesy Cheesy

Hope they will say something soon and will fix this simple problem.

I have 300,000 EUR blocked in "Bank Transfer Completed" and "SEPA Bank Transfer" with no updates for 2 weeks.

Their support is saying they are working around the clock and it will take extra time but does not say how much.

My guess is that they don't have the money all all withdrawals and are waiting to collect money from people who buy crypto.

I have made several requests to withdraw USD to my MasterCard which I used for deposit. But every time it is rejected. Bank support said, that the problem is not on their side and I have no limits for my card.
CEX.IO support just sends me auto generated answers. So I suppose my $8900 are stuck forever?

CEX.io has stolen my money as it appears so far.

I have account up112960293 and in December I have changed my phone and in the process I lost the 2FA app and I can't log in.
Guess what ? This played very well for cex.io as they probably have major liquidity issues !!!
I have opened tickets 574201, 546283 and others and they respond to these tickets usually in a few hours saying that it will be processed shortly and I need to send documents and proof I am the owner of the account which I kept sending again and again.

I guess this is the perfect scenario in which they can spend and use my funds w/o really any issue while I can't login to my account.

In the crypto world of millionaires I gues $2500 is nothing but hey, that's a deposit that I made from my salary and... there are no millions there.
I feel scammed and tricked but in the same time powerless to do too much.

Any advice of what I can do now from anyone?

CEX.io has stolen my money as it appears so far.

I have account up112960293 and in December I have changed my phone and in the process I lost the 2FA app and I can't log in.
Guess what ? This played very well for cex.io as they probably have major liquidity issues !!!
I have opened tickets 574201, 546283 and others and they respond to these tickets usually in a few hours saying that it will be processed shortly and I need to send documents and proof I am the owner of the account which I kept sending again and again.

No response !!! and I am locked out for over 20 days now.

I have 300,000 EUR blocked in "Bank Transfer Completed" and "SEPA Bank Transfer" with no updates for 2 weeks.

Their support is saying they are working around the clock and it will take extra time but does not say how much.

My guess is that they don't have the money all all withdrawals and are waiting to collect money from people who buy crypto.

Hi. Copy yours eth wallet address from cex.io which you can get by chooseing deposit. Then paste that address to etherscan.io. There you will see where your eth gone. I think they are waiting for more eth pumping. Then after dump they will send our eth to us... I dont have any other idea.

I think eth have foul to pump to 1300-1500 so this can't be a reason, I think they don't have blockchain tech guy or this guy don't know what to do and they really waiting for eth network to confirm transaction which not exists Cheesy But we should think positively if ETH still will be able to confirm such transaction we can see eth at 2500-5000 this will be new exclusive tech of ETh (Telepathic Communication With Blockchain)Cheesy Cheesy

Hope they will say something soon and will fix this simple problem.

CEX.IO is absolutely a scam. I sent a wire of $5000 over a month ago. It has not been added to my account, sent to my bank and have yet to get a message back from support besides some generic message saying they're working to get back to me. Unless you want your money frozen in an overseas account and customer support that doesn't respond stay AWAY from cex.io.

It is amazing to me that you would allow this to escalate to this point. I warned you you were hurting my business by tying up my funds since over a month now.

I regularly complain about exchanges on this forum and they are annoyingly slow at doing anything. However I can say that I have successfully withdrawn USD from my CEX.io account to my Bank account on 3 occasions with no problems. Mine all took about just under 2 weeks to arrive in my account.

I get angry at lots of the exchanges and they do need to really improve their processes. However at the moment it looks like CEX.io will process your funds in due course and you should be OK.

Also I should add that it would be useful if people could post the final result on such issues and once paid out by the exchange let everyone know. The reason being that once people get paid out they forget to let the forum know and it doesn't help others in knowing the real risks of using certain exchanges.

I opened 2 tickets. my userid is up110856789. ticket #433854, & 434659. or maybe you only credit the ones that go on forums complaining?

So immediately after this is posted, they release my 1100$ USD wire but block my 10,000 USD wire saying my daily maximum is passed. Funny how #1, I initiated these wires on different days and they allow 10000 USD per day, but THEY decided to process them both the same day to block and hold my 10000$ wire!!!!! Funny also that they didn't didn't release the larger wire instead and block the smaller one isn't it?

You've held my money for a week now CEX! Surely that means I'm not over a ****ing daily limit doesn't it?Huh? Buyers beware. Sorry Mickey but you are clearly mistaken. I sent both wire confirmations together at the same time. It's hard to maintain belief in good faith at 2 weeks and continuously receiving wrong and conflicting information from your support. I have been able to make credit card transactions and withdraw my crypto to my ledger so I have faith this is just really, really poor support. But you are losing credibility by this kind of exceptionally poor handling. First you tell me I'm over my daly limit when my trxns were from different days. Then you tell me I need corporate verification. then you sit on my documents for a week with no response. Then you close the case and tell me the wire is processed when only one of two is done. 1k of 11k total. And now you claim I didn't send confirmation??? Seriously? How would you feel if it was 2 weeks now that your 10K was sitting in someone else's account and you were getting all these different wrong responses? Wouldn't you be worried you were being robbed? I'm resubmitting my wire confirmation now. Please do the right thing and return the wire immediately. the funds are needed for my businesses operation. The wire was intended to cover my personal finances temporarily and now you have frozen my business funds. So immediately after this is posted, they release my 1100$ USD wire but block my 10,000 USD wire saying my daily maximum is passed. Funny how #1, I initiated these wires on different days and they allow 10000 USD per day, but THEY decided to process them both the same day to block and hold my 10000$ wire!!!!! Funny also that they didn't didn't release the larger wire instead and block the smaller one isn't it?

BTC boom long gone from my buy in of what I had available at 8200 USD. Hopefully I'll have my cash before Crypto winter passes. Not one transaction went smoothly. Nor banks in 2 countries (Canada & US, wires held back), a nightmare liquidating my UK Fundsmith equity account (needed a full blown investigation after 2 series of registered mails they requested proved insufficient. About 3 week ordeal) and then wires tied down in CEX. Not sure how to go forward. Only the 3.5% credit card transactions on CEX went smoothly. However, stranded on CEX and Bittrex with ridiculous delays on verifications and their support bot only... I hope all this chaos at the exchanges is nothing more than good sign of crypto trade booming and them being overwhelmed...



13 days and counting. No response since I submitted all my tax and company and income source info. 10K USD trapped and no one to say a word about it. Don't wire money to CEX!!!

So no reply from CEX about my frozen 10,000 USD that was wired on a different day than the other 1100$. They claim we can wire 10K per day and then freeze you out demanding all your financial info and ID and sources. Meanwhile, purchased Ether with the 1100$ and they have taken 15 hours and still not transferred to my wallet, it did however disappear from my CEX account immediately. Nice working with you CEX. Would like my 10,000 USD, which is all my available cash, either credited to my account or returned to my bank immediately. I wonder what you're doing with my money while you're blocking my access to it.

Find a safer exchange people. They want your private info and like to sit on your cash for over a week and counting. I just hope I'll see it again one day!

CEX.io is one of the respectable and trustable crypto trading platform in Europe, based on your attach screenshot you are requesting a huge transactions amounting to 20,000 USD direct to yourbank account, maybe there are some AMLC or KYC issue from your country when doing transactions from btc to fiat, nevertheless CEX.io can resolve your issue maybe it takes a lot of time, or the maybe there a tons of withdrawal request queueing from their site.

I would say that at best, they are a shady operation currently.

From experience they have been a pretty decent exchange, i stopped using them though when they discontinued their cloud mining service and their partner GHash.io slowly died down. So haven't been using them for a while now.

But looking at all the threads being opened about cex.io's support, i think that they are indeed scamming or at least having liquidity issues. Perhaps they suffered a hack that was undisclosed or something.

Try to contact support as many times as possible, all you can do at the moment. But others are getting delayed withdrawals as well so it's not you only.

Well damn. That's a lot of money that you have on there and it sure hurts to not be able to withdraw them.

This guy seems to be having the same problem as you, withdrawal not being processed though he has enough balance to withdraw, and support isn't giving any type of response to resolve the issue.

It might not be a scam yet, but it's having difficulty. Even if it turned out just to be a short term shortage in support, i would not use them again.

I've seen quite a lot of people have the exact same problem as you are currently having.

I'd say that they are a scam, at least for now. There is virtually no support available for those who have their withdrawals held up. And a lot of withdrawals above $500 are being held by Cex.io right now.

Hopefully, you are able to get your money back. They are a registired company so that's something positive at least.

C-cex is one of the oldest and most reliable trading platforms and bitcoin and altcoins exchangers site currently on net. I have been trading with c-cex and I  have never have any issues with them. I would advise you to try and contact them again as this will help in resolving the problems with your drawing. Most of the exchangers do have this problem time to time. Hope you get solution to your problem soonest.

as far as i know, cex.io is not scam. i remember in almost 2 year ago i am trading in cex.io and i don't have any bad experience with them. but after they close the trading for ltc, then i move my balance from cex.io and from that time, i don't trade in cex.io. but if now cex.io is scam you or other people, i don't know but i think you can send the ticket to asked your problem. or if your home is near with cex.io office, then you can visited their office and asked directly to them.

Honestly i don't know what else you can do right now, other than just keep trying to reach them via support.

I heard of some other guy on the forum having the same issue, and even though it is unresolved the support at least got back to him(which is better than nothing, at least) and said that they will work to resolve the issue. Can't find the thread though.

If they don't respond in few weeks then if you have some friend in the UK, tell them to visit these addresses listed on their site:

20000 USD is a lot of money ,is there anything I can do about it?I am locate in U.S.

I have my flat withdraw in CEX.IO for more then 10 days now, still pending and support server do not reply me anymore,so worried now
