So, I'm thinking of buying Doge coins again. The last I invested on Doge, I got good returns in 2021 when I sold everything.

I know this is mostly a gamble but nevertheless.

Do anyone feel the same way about Doge coins being a good investment option?
If you have invested in it before and you made a good amount of money, since you still want to go back to it, then just do your analysis before entering the market. As long as you are holding it for a long time, I am sure you will be able to make some money from it, but don’t expect the same amount that you made the last time you invested. So instead of taking that kind of risk, and i  I won’t be getting much profit, then it’s just better if I invest my money in bitcoin and have peace of mind. I will be confident that nothing will happen to the coin that i invested in.

I definitely consider Doge Coin as a good investment option but it is difficult to predict when this coin will reach the expected place. I have been holding Doge coin for a long time but have not seen any big pump in this coin. The price of the coin increased slightly in 2024 but it was not sustained and the price moved to the downside. But I haven't lost faith in this coin yet. If the Bitcoin price goes above 100k or more then we will be able to see a bull market for this coin. Moreover, since the coin is one of the oldest among the meme coins, there are many who will be encouraged to invest in this coin. It can give good results in long term.

That's good for you if you've made money off Dogecoin last bull run. I have already loaded some money on Dogecoin, not that much for this upcoming bull run but at least that I'd be able to taste something from it if ever it goes crazy again and when those laser eyes of Elon Musk comes again.

If there are memecoins that I'd want to invest, I'll cross out everything except Dogecoin. This is our beloved memecoin that has been there for so long and it has got the love that it deserves and still being loved until now. As for asking if it's still a good one, pretty much it is but don't invest everything that you've got.

Still, remember the first rule about investing only what you can afford to lose. Whether it is with Bitcoin, Dogecoin or anything in the crypto market but you have already the experience and made money too so, you know the deal.

Any altcoins as of now are not a good investment considering the way the markets are operating right now. I am a fan of Dogecoin and I in the early days did have a good amount of that coin. I sold them when they first started pumping and haven't bought any of them.

What I am trying to convey to you is that there will be a big market crash in the coming months or days. If you can take the risk and keep on holding the coins till the market recovers then you should buy them. Otherwise except for Bitcoin and Ethereum avoid investing in any other coins.
Why, how is the market acting right now? I am not into altcoins, so I don't check their price that often. I am only with BTC and I can see that BTC's value right now is in good shape, so I guess the value of the altcoins are in good shape too but there are people who actually think that that was a bad time to invest.

I think the same people who don't do a DCA because DCA is the act of buying coins at any price point and it's a popular method right now, which means a lot of people are doing it. Apart from BTC and ETH, there are still good altcoins which are worthy to invest in. Believe it or not, DOGE is among it because it isn't the only first time it pumped up but another set of pumps have happened after some time and many believes that it will occur again.

Doge is priced much lower than ATH but its marketcap is significantly larger than a meme coin.  So I don't think it can hit price like its highest ATH again in future. Because it had hype only for Elon Musk but doge doesn't have any hype like it did in the early days and I doubt how much it will hit in the future.  But whether you can afford to invest in it is entirely up to you personally. I am not personally motivated to invest in Doge
Doge is a very old meme coin.  Hey Kiss supply is slowly being depleted so it could be worth a lot again in the future.  It is true that Elon Musk is responsible for pumping Doge like this but now Doge has become the coin of choice so many people are investing here and believe that good profits can be made from Doge.  But since this is a meme coin, investing here with risk is like gambling.  He who has the ability to do so must do so

doge is never good investment, no can say that a meme coin can be good investment, whatever it's doge or others meme coins,
meme coin is always risky investment, but some top meme coins gained trust for a big community, as like doge is one of them,
because it's got supported by elon musk, so many other good option to invest your money then doge.

As far as I know, dogecoin is not the only altcoin that offers features that you have put in the list, which makes dogecoin not unique. And since it is not that unique, the chances of it to become really demanded and push price up arent really high. As well as dogecoin was already pumped numerous times. Do you think all of a sudden it will get pumped again or someone will again for that trick? Moreover ATH is no way near. So have you reconsidered rebalancing your all-in in other altcoin?
I agree partially as Dogecoin is not alone with these features because we are having many other coins with features like these and also few are doing better than Dogecoin but usually when I personally invested into this coin for the saving purpose I am always having no regret with my this decision because this is one of the coins which always stand good with few others because these are lurking into market for years, and we are always having them on solid spot.

Currently as market is bleeding due to Middle East conflict and few other things are having problems this is good time for jumping here and taking own share of profit even sometime it takes time but still we have never been things gone into deep like we have in other meme coins.

Yes Doge is always my favourite investment, and still it is best investment option for those who want safe and profitable investment. Doge is currently trading at .1$ and it has to cross .5$ in near future and by the end of this year it will be trading between .6$ to .83$

Investing in dogecoin has high risk due to price fluctuations and high risk. Compared to other cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin has limited use cases, unknown futures, and rapidly fluctuating volatile values. It is important to weigh the profits and risks of investing in Dogecoin before making a purchase. Dogecoin is another alternative if you can take a high risk, earn a huge short-term reward, and buy during the market decline as we are currently experiencing. However, investing in other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum can be a better choice if you are looking for low risk and long-term stability.

Even though we see a discouraging dump on Doge coin still this is more relevant coin compare on other shitcoins in the market. Instead of thinking about adding those questionable coins out there I would choose to have Doge coin in bag since this is top of those shit coins in chain. Also its more realistic to see a possible next pump with this coin compare to those in verge of death altcoins they are thinking about going to pump in future.

So if you can take risk on Doge future then try it, But if your funds is enough and you are just trying your luck to earn then maybe find other alternative since what I think Doge coin will not give you any fast result.

The main reasons are:

  • strong community worldwide
  • 1-minute block times
  • $0.01 tx fees (or less if you're stingy)
  • merge-mining with LTC makes network more robust
  • plentiful supply makes it easier to use as a currency

Having said that, I'm currently nearly all-in on $DOGE.

Doge coin is not a gamble, this is an OG coin with strong community support, if I am buying doge coin I am doing it with confidence, because this coin is a top coin and its been around for a very long time now, be rest assured that history will repeat itself again, there is lots of gains to make from these type of altcoins once the altcoin season is back in action.

Here is a cheat code, new projects that raise good funds will bring better returns than the old projects, make sure you diversify your portfolio.

GoodLuck.

I already own Bitcoin, just exploring other options at the moment.

The saying, "don't put all your eggs in one basket"
It's good that you already have bitcoin but never put a lot of money in meme coins at least 5% of your portfolio for Doge it doesn't matter if you believe in Doge in the future.
The current price of $0.1 is still very likely to return to $0.2 but for ATH I am still not sure Doge can go beyond that because this is my prediction so you can conclude yourself about your investment there.
So far I have not dared to invest in meme coins, there is still a lot of trauma buying meme coins that are small capitalists, so for Doge at least there is still hope to rise.

Thats exactly the point, since the op already has Bitcoin in his portfolio, trying other coin wouldn't be a problem, for me I understand that doge coin is not a total dump coin and it is said to be one of the best if not the best meme coin due to its market capital, the only advise I can guve to the op is that he shouldn't expect a high pump from doge coin if there any kind of appreciation in the Bitcoin price.
I love it when you said there still hope for Doge coin that's to say that the op can go ahead that's if it is what he really want, personally I encourage asset diversification once the asset you want to invest in is well known and can be identified as one of the assets that can potentially add value in the future or anytime, although am happy that he own some fractions of Bitcoin which to me is a good move, so buying a little of Doge coin wouldn't be a bad idea but it should be done with a little amount.

I'm not a meme coin fan, but I think there are still many people who are very enthusiastic about Doge Coin. This is because doge coin is the biggest meme coin, and has a large community. This might attract big investors in the future. If you are interested in meme coins, maybe Doge coin is suitable for that investment. However, I prefer to invest in popular coins like ethereum or binance, but I don't doubt that the potential of meme coin is huge, it's just that the risk is quite high.

Actually, as far as cryptocurrencies go, Dogecoin has great fundamentals:

  • strong community worldwide
  • 1-minute block times
  • $0.01 tx fees (or less if you're stingy)
  • merge-mining with LTC makes network more robust
  • plentiful supply makes it easier to use as a currency

I'd argue that, as far as acting as a currency goes, DOGE is superior to BTC or ETH. Its far cheaper to send, and now that its been around for 10.5 years, its firmly entrenched in the crypto landscape, which means its widely accepted compared to most other cryptos.

You are right. I think Dogecoin is one of those coins that won't go below it's current value due to its great fundamentals but rather go up in the future.

Whilst Elon Musk contributed to it's popularity, we can't argue that it's already got a potential before then.

Literally every investment is a gamble. And frankly doge is one of the safest choices. There's no fundamentals behind it, just pure speculation, but that speculation is based on history of it. To me it seems to be pumping with every altcoin season, and every time it has gone higher that "deserved", meaning that it will do that again, because there's no reason it wouldn't.

Pump this year seems like prepump it had that signaled green for every altcoinseason it had. Now we are just waiting for next one. I don't like doge, but i don't hate it either, but it's definitely pumping again at some point. It's probably not going to make anyone rich anymore, but 5-10x it might do.

I made a profit from Dogecoin in the same year that you did, and I sometimes trade Dogecoin on futures too. It is a good option for investment. According to what I think, Dogecoin might surpass $2 in the future, but it requires patience. Remember that if you can't hold for a long time, you would be rich.

Yes I can definitely say that Doge coin is a very good investment and you can get good returns. Those who invested in Doge Coin when it was first launched in the market later reaped benefits beyond their imagination. But after 2021 I think it can give a good benefit in the next bull run. I'll invest in it too and hope for the best. I think $1+ will go higher in this bull run.
