Once it was Bitcoin and now the same is happening with ethereum. In the past whenever there is good growth with bitcoin followed by crash in the market there'll be discussing popping up Bitcoin is towards death. With its massive growth over the years now bitcoin has outlawed every such statements.

Now the eye has moved towards ethereum which stands big next to Bitcoin. No matter whatever the thinking, the continued development keeps ethereum growing big.

I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.

Ethereum is the second strongest coin with a market cap of more than 260 B, I think ethereum will continue to grow because of thousands of ERC-20 based tokens that rely heavily on ethereum.

People thought bitcoin was going to die 5 or 10 years back. You never know what the future holds for ethereum. It's a vast ecosystem now, things could change really fast.

So about 6 months after the OP has posted, it's still clear that ETH is the king of the hill, and will remain that way.
Sure, other networks are good, but there's only one DeFi daddy, and that one is Ethereum

Many bigger investor hold and buy ethereum how come die, will they sell ethereum with lower price or not? Impossible have any investor want to sell their coin with lower price because they want more money and profit when buying ethereum, maybe ethereum can die when bitcoin loss management control and many country make fud but very impossible this happen.

I believe that Ethereum will not die, although the price is having such a big dip now if we compare to one month ago when the price reach ATH $4100.
Binance, EOS, or even Polka Dot will make the market more interesting because they will compete with each other to serve the best for traders and investors.

~snip

I don't think the interest in Ethereum will go away any time soon, especially with various forecasts for the price of Ethereum rising to $ 15K - $ 20K and even a larger market cap than Bitcoin.

Ethereum is the network with most developers included in the development and there is the real strength
whatever trashes on the network, there is bunch of developers to take care in network best interest and made resilient network and that should be the key for further development

will it become the largest crypto is the question for the future, no one can know that

While this has always been one of my arguments for Ethereum as well, you should also keep in mind that developers don't stay forever just for the sake of staying. Developers can go anywhere as they are a valuable resource. They can even port the projects from one chain to another. Ethereum must be extremely careful over the next 12 months to not lose track of BSC. It's already been said that there will be massive delays. Imagine you'd be a developer, would you have a limit in regards to being patient? I would for sure!

This is depending on the development of Ethereum itself. More competitor of Ethereum is growing rapidly like Binance smart chain, and there are also others smart contract project that promising more benefits than BSC. Take alook on Solana project, i have been try to send and make transaction token SPL  /Solana Program Library to from exchange to other wallet and the fee transaction is near zero with faster comfirmation time. All crypto community will prefer to use this smart contract than expensive one. But I believe Ethereum will become much better in the future, because ETH is the leader of smart contract platform and the ecosystem currently is very strong.

Ethereum will not die easily because it has long had strong fundamentals most of which will be born to make comparisons and it will be difficult if the comparators are not able to make the market attractive now quite a lot of networks like ethereum are used

As we can see, judging by the commissions, Ethereum does not die and the majority continue to use it. The team also develops the network by providing updates.

I am also of your opinion, Ethereum continues to evolve and this cannot lead to the "death" of this coin.

Ethereum will undergo an upgrade in 2022. The new version of ETH will not only push many people to stack their Ethereum in ETH 2.0, but will also increase the efficiency of the blockchain as the platform moves from consensus to proof of performance PoW Consensus Consensus (PoS).

I don't think the interest in Ethereum will go away any time soon, especially with various forecasts for the price of Ethereum rising to $ 15K - $ 20K and even a larger market cap than Bitcoin.

Personally, I don't see Ethereum dying. It seen huge gains over the past year and I think it's so popular now that there is very little chance of it. Ethereum has also been great about keeping things up-to-date and changing with the times (like switching to Proof of Stake). The creators of Ethereum know what they're doing and they have proved to everyone their blockchain is one which they plan to keep updating and improving. Over time I believe we're only going to see Ethereum improve, and hopefully go up in value!

What is death for ETH?
ETH will always be the strongest altcoin in this market, and that's still happening.

I'd say it's hard for an Altcoin to always remain on the top, There are many layers to the services certain altcoin provides.
If new altcoins is there along that's revolutionary and does everything some famous altcoin as ETH does then it could replace it "I know it will be hard but there's still a chance"
Tech is continuously changing and so is the needs of people in the Crypto space and ETH took a lot of time to cover ETH's high fees issue, Therefore leading many potential altcoins to go on the rail with Binance Chain, So coin should be able to adapt if there are any drawbacks, That's just an example.
Yes I am not denying what you are saying, where is the competition?
I don't see many projects that can directly compete with ETH in all fields, BNB can be seen as one of the factors that can compete with ETH. But actually I think you will understand what is going on, moreover ETH is always listening, and they are still working on development, their upcoming updates are really looking forward to.

Im always heard or read these kind of question if the etherium going to die ?
But until now etherium are still in there and making some big increasing of price, Maybe the one thing on it is about the transaction fees was to high enough. Than the other coins has almost so low on when we do a transaction, And we hope it will going back to normal again so that some of our coins are going transfer easily.

To be honest, I really do not see any solid reason why Ethereum should die. I mean it is the second best altcoin and it is the number 1 altcoin right? I know there is stiff competition from Binance, Cardano, and Polkadot among others, but it is still the most preferred by many. Though I do admit the fees are quite high right now, I believe that the developers are doing possibly their best for Ethereum to have the least fees possible. I am still going to vouch for Ethereum 1st, Binance 2nd.
Even though currently Binance seems to be going up, because one of the reasons is cheaper fees, but we know that ethereum is still firmly in second place after bitcoin. this is what I don't know why it can be said that ethereum will die. of course we don't know what strategy the developer will use, but I think with good faith this time, ethereum will still exist

Ethereum can't die because it is Strong project. If are saying this because of gas fee then you are wrong because ethereum gas fee was very low some days ago. It was only 10 gwei. I think soon gas fee problem will be resolved and Ethereum will be again most amazing altcoin.

thinking that ethereum will die is a big mistake
ethereum is the 2nd most powerful cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, ethereum won't be easy to beat by new competitors

I myself am not sure that polkadot, eos and many more will be able to shift ethereum in its current position
rest assured, ethereum will continue to survive and stay strong

calm down buddy, it won't be possible for eth to die, where we can see how bitcoin is going up now ethereum is also joining the btc up hype. and i make sure eth has a solid foundation and earns nothing wrong with being named the king mother of all altcoins.
even though it's free and expensive one day it will come back as before when eth is perfect in eth 2.0
Yes, not just because of its high fees eth would go down that so fast. Ethereum is still on top of altcoins because there are lots of people using it in different platform. The devs of it is improving it day by day for sure that is why how very stable it on top of altcoins. Also the fees of eth transactions got lower these past few weeks so if the fees is going down little by little, it will make a huge positivity in eth and the people who supports it and that will make it more stable in top of altcoins.
