It would be great if Ethereum could reach $10K within this year because the last ATH on Ethereum this year was almost $5K in one unit, but if Ethereum is able to grow to $10K, then Bitcoin will pass $60K in one unit because of Bitcoin and Ethereum is always in line with the movements of the crypto market.However, it is possible that by the end of the year the market will return to normal.

I'd say it's hard for an Altcoin to always remain on the top, There are many layers to the services certain altcoin provides.
If new altcoins is there along that's revolutionary and does everything some famous altcoin as ETH does then it could replace it "I know it will be hard but there's still a chance"
Tech is continuously changing and so is the needs of people in the Crypto space and ETH took a lot of time to cover ETH's high fees issue, Therefore leading many potential altcoins to go on the rail with Binance Chain, So coin should be able to adapt if there are any drawbacks, That's just an example.

How ever bad fud make by many countries I believe ethereum keep strong and never die any more, maybe you ever get ethereum under $100 when China banned bitcoin as legal currency last three years, but ethereum keep growing up until above $3000, how come now ethereum have raise higher price can be die, during bitcoin keep potential and growing up never any reason to said ethereum die. So far it won't die.It won't happen while it's the 2nd biggest cryptocurrency of all and the developers are actively improving it.
There's no way for it to die, time might come that a coin like BNB will replace it but it won't be dead that quickly.

I think the problem that is still bothering me is starting with the gas but that has started to improve in the last few weeks and it's not a serious problem anymore. and this is a special attraction considering that previously eth enthusiasts protested about gas but now the problem is slowly being overcome and with this I am sure eth will become a coin that is being targeted and many more enthusiasts

Now chinese people, I mean rich Chinese people can invest in eth mining through stakes without worrying about the government seizing their Mining Rig if they get caught mining ETH or any other currency, That risk is gone and more safe opportunities came.
