Agree! Even though BTC is the largest coin in the market and it affects all other altcoins. ETH has its own strengths. I prefer to invest in ETH than BTC for multiple reasons. One of them is that ETH now has more chance of increasing its value than BTC. Since BTC is already at the resistance line and hardly increases, ETH still has the potential to bullish!

It is generally unpredictable when you choose to invest in this market, but I'm sure ETH prices will usually follow Bitcoin if the coin goes up. Currently, there is a lot of news about Ethereum 2.0, and I am looking forward to what happens when this news comes out. Of course, the price of ETH will soon improve a lot in the next few years, and you should choose long-term investment right now.

The latest case about some people sent their ethereum with multi million dollars as the fees caused by the human error of the owner itself. It has nothing to do with the future of ethereum. The user itself must double check before try to send anything.

bitcoin and ethereum have become commonplace as major investments in the crypto world. to be honest, I prioritize ethereum over bitcoin right now. there are many reasons that make me think like that, moreover ethereum is affected by the price of bitcoin. when the price of bitcoin rises, the ethereum price also rises, not only the price of the dollar but also the price of satoshinya. however you judge it, ethereum is a good investment.

Think about it this way. Ethereum used to be 1.5k dollars, yes that is a very hard price to reach but at least we know that it is technically "possible", not saying it will be like that once again very soon but at least we know that it could become that in the future.

On top of that you are going to get staking, when staking happens everyone will want to buy ethereum to stake and make money, we don't know what the ROI will be yearly and the interest rate (for lack of better worth) will be so we are speculating right now but I am sure there will be people who will want to buy and hold it. So between the possible increase and the max price we know and all the staking people I think the future of ethereum looks very bright, or at least it should be bright unless something major changes.

I think the biggest difference will be with the exchanges that are doing staking nowadays. Binance started it very recently I think, only a few months ago. You put your money into the exchange and they give you the staking rewards minus some money with it. A very good business idea considering exchanges are already holding your money so they are not doing anything different, works for you because you do not have to keep your PC open 24/7 and still stake, and works for them because they won't do anything different and still get money from the comissions they are taking. Ethereum looks to be future of crypto in my mind, I can't guarantee it but looks like its going to be one of the best ones out there in the future.

Well.. let me ask you a very simple question. If the development is so much active, then why they have delayed the roll-out of Ethereum 2.0 multiple times? If the developers were so efficient, why they are planning to do the roll-out in multiple phases instead of a single phase as per the earlier plan? Why they failed to take care of the security bugs and issues that coped up during 2019 and 2020?
