Bitcoin coming up with Segregated Witness and Verge having an overhyped but basic Tor integration a.k.a. "wraith protocol". It's mind boggling how they have the same score. Just shows how China MIT's evaluation is heavily heavily flawed.
For one thing, bitcoin is the leader of the cryptocurrency market, and that is indisputable.
But at the moment bitcoin does not have the better than ETH, but that does not mean that ETH has surpassed BTC.

I think Ethereum will not be able to rise to the first position, because I see the task of Ethereum is to always keep the position of Bitcoin in the first rank.

ETH being better than BTC overall is definitely debatable. Although, disregard that rating in the first place. Verge and Bitcoin having the same score? Get outta here. Verge doesn't even deserve to be in any list besides the top shitcoins list. Also, I think streem is somewhat "innovative", but I don't think it deserves that 2nd spot to be honest.
Anything can happen in the world of crypto, etherium may exceed the bitcoin price, but I think it is impossible for the next 5 years, btc remains above etherium because investors and enthusiasts crypto berkiblat on bitcoin prices rather than etherium prices.
China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released on it's public blockchain rating on global cryptocurrency base on 3 criteria's technology,application, and innovation. And ethereum is in the first spot 13 altcoins ahead of bitcoin.
