Never heard of gambling that can fix one's life. So its obvious what is the answer here. Smiley
i definitely disagree with you, there are some people who bet all their money all in win and never come back to gambling, of course it happens rarely but we cant say that it doesnt happen at all

edit: here i found a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGCdBsOIKYA

Well in some point you both are correct. It is just that majority of gamblers got their life wreck because of gambling.
This is how it works. You have a number of losing fish and a lucky whale that wins big now and then. People hear about the big win, come to try their luck and of course lose it all so the wheel can keep turning.

I don't think gambling can fix anyone's life...maybe make it better if they win a lot, but fix it? No, I don't think that's possible. It can most definitely wreck your life though, because money is involved. You do see the occasional sob story of a guy who lost money he couldn't afford to lose. Some of them are probably fake, but some are also probably real.

There is a very small % of people that win in the long run, compared to those who lose.  For them, they are usually highly skilled and make a career out of it.  For your average joe, I think it's just the possibility of winning that outweighs the fact that the odds are against you.

Have you guys ever seen a casino in a less affluent area?  There are people there, stationed beside slot machines, and it looks like they haven't seen light in ages.  It's a very depressing environment.  Didn't look like they work, so possibly spending their social security money in the casino.  It reminded me of the morlocks, for anyone that watches x-men (mutants that live in the sewers and never show their face in society).
Either way, the risks for most far outweigh the benefits. Sure, there are a few people who can make a living out of it, but even the most skilled poker players end up going broke more often than not. I think the idea of pro-gambling is non-existent.

Then you obviously never heard of people who broke the bank. It's rare but it happens, just like winning a jackpot or a lottery.

For me gambling pretty much ruined my finances. Once you win big once and some people have the personality type to go back to the casino over and over. That was the case for me, and I ended up loosing more than winning.

That why we must stay away from gambling. We have our public enemy called "greedy"
Only ourself can defeat it because nobody can  Cool

That is what the gambling den counts on from their patrons.
Didn't you ever watch Casino. The Japanese whale was hijacked after winning so much and lost it all.
One way or another the casino always finds a way to get you back in.

For me gambling is just for fun, i play gambling when i just fist know Bitcoin. Gambling and bitcoin is helping my life i know earn some money from gambling is not good but i think gambling is fix my life not in good life but a bad life -_-

yeah, gambling is never going to fix anybody's life. maybe the life of the big time professional gambles who bet and earn a ton of money this way. but not small time gambles and specially not gamgling on dice which is very popular among bitcoin users

Only a few professional gamblers managed to earn their money in sports gambling. The rest of the casino gambling is almost impossible to win in the long run when house edge is against you.

Theoretically it could.
Say for example, a businessman is facing huge financial problem and is planning to file bankruptcy, but then he luckily wins millions from the national lottery and use the money to save his company successfully...

I am pretty sure I read something like that in a novel. Tongue
