yes i also agree with you that holding bitcoin for a long time is a good decision. in short term investment there is more chance to lose your money because the price of bitcoin is already trading in a high price therefore short term investment may be risky, if you can mange your should go for long term investment.

According to me there is fair difference between bitcoin and altcoin. Bitcoin is long term investment where as altcoin is short term investment because even today the price of bitcoin drop but there is 100% chance may be today or tomorrow the price will increase definitely. But when coming to altcoin if the price drops than the speculation will start about altcoin, it will long long time to settle in that position.

I think that as long as you have the tools to know which direction the price will take next, any asset can give good results in the short term, the problem is that altcoins are very unstable, and this increases the risk that there is panic selling in the market. In that sense, in fact, it is safer to hold Bitcoin if you want something less unstable, but it is possible to get good results in the short term as long as you are a good trader.

If you have huge amount of coins saved in your wallet then it can be an best investment for the future but if you have 2 or 3 btc in wallet then it won't give you huge profits as price won't reach to millions in quick time so if you want to increase the level of coins in your wallet then better to invest them in trading and try to multiply them in a quick time.

Yes bitcoin is an unpredictable job and anything is possible in future and hold them for a long term can be risky as we don't know what will be the price of bitcoins in future so if the price of bitcoins is giving you good profits then you should sell them and rebuy them when price drops in future.

I dont think so, because price of bitcoin really unpredictable, at this moment we have to hold them for some month until end of the year as the price still stable. Keep up to date about bitcoin news. Spend your bitcoin when you think its time to sell it. An Issue about China and US made me didnt trust bitcoin going so well next year.

You are not right and I cannot agree with you. Both, Bitcoin and altcoins are dangerous for holding. Bitcoin price volatility makes it great for trading but not for investment. The same is about altcoins. You can invest in art, real estate but not in such a dangerous and very new technology that has no mainstream adoption, as cryptocurrencies. But you can speculate and earn some money

different people have different idea and view, may be you are right, but to me it think all type of trading and investment are risky either it is crypto currencies or real state. investment and trading are all round risky, but one can only make money if he has the courage to take the risk and without taking risk no one can make money not in real stacks not in crypto currencies.

you're right. imagine those people that bought bitcoin like two years ago and held on to them until now. Though it's really hard to say as we really wouldn't know then that bitcoin would go up this high is two years right? so I agree with you that it takes courage to take these kinds of risk because it could've been a big loss if bitcoin didn't go the way it did

It would really takes courage for you to be able to sustain the temptations on selling your bitcoin because you hesitations would really distract you out specially when you saw bitcoins price is falling. Losses would really be there but for those people who bought on lower prices on previous years are now surely on profits.

Agreed! wouldn't it be boring if you're just holding your bitcoin and wait for the price to increase?
wouldn't it be better if you keep your bitcoin circulating( like investing, trading, lending, service etc..). it may
not be the wisest way but as time goes on you will gain experience and can earn bitcoin easier and make profit?
isn't it better rather than just waiting for the price of bitcoin to increase?

Holding bitcoins for a long term is a good choice as there is no risk involved in it of loosing them but it would be better if we use them in trading to multiply them in quick session and make regular profits as it will also increase the level of our coins in wallet and can be sold when price reaches to our desired level.
