What do you mean with "humanity"?
It's only a personal and "moral" concept.

It has always been this way. Humanity is in this century a little more exposed to the eyes of the beholders and with the advancing of the human race and natality growing there is more time to look into human acts. Humans have always been greedy and ignorant but because of the individuals, humanity will not perish. Human standards have changed and we must find in ourselves a will to change toward good for humanity to prevail.

Humanity is not gone. Even though we always see or hear this topic in news or social medias. Humanity is still their until there are humans. I think we're just hardened by this society that it get to the we care less about other.  I think the solution is that we should be soft sometimes. Do not let the world make us hard. Do not let pain make us hate. Do not let the bitterness steal our sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, we should still believe that this world we standing is a beautiful place. Smiley

In my opinion humanity is not gone because the are many people or organizations helping others with no need in return and I salute to those people and organizations.

Real problem is this. We should not need organizations. I wish I did not have to help people Smiley

Everywhere we see double faced people. People help you but it seems like they always have an motive behind it. Is humanity really gone?

One day, humanity will disappear, just like the dinosaurs.

You sound too pessimistic Sad
I have very sincere people in my circle. I believe they support me during hard times without any cruel thoughts behind it. May be you should just take another view at this problem?)
it's cool that there are such people in your environment, then you are also such (like attracted)...but in fact a lot of two-faced people, but as I noted above, if you cultivate openness and honesty in yourself, then the rascals may not appear on the path of life

I don't think so. Whenever I see videos of bravery and compassion in man, I do not fail to see that we have not lost our humanity after all. The thing is we always fail to see the goodness in everyone, and we often focus on the bad things about the person. This may be the reason why this world is not peaceful.

No, where will it go?

Maybe you just feel it because someone refuse to help you and you can't accept that.
In my opinion, it is still there, only that everyone is now careful in helping or showing sympathy towards the others. Lots of people who are taking advantage if you are good, so if you are good, then you must pretend that you are not and you don't like your neighbor so no one would ask your help.

There are people who are good at asking help, and when you help them, everyday they would want that you are helping them, at the end of the day when you stop, look at them and how they react.

It is hard to survive nowadays if you dont put your emotions down. I dont know where the world is going with this attitude. There is nothing left to like or to love except your own family. Even there could be wouldnt like to see your success. I dont know where this is going to stop but i know that it is not going to be easy for anyone.

I think what you are trying to ask is... has humanity lost its compassion?

Obviously humanity is here.  Humans exist and we interact with eachother... the sum total of all humans is humanity.

If you live in a place that has little to none compassion, I would either create a community based off the human interactions you would like to see more and therefore spread it to your community or move to a place which can affect that change in you.

The most important point I can say is that most it seems looks for the answers outside of themselves, while in truth the answers are within.

Gandhi said "be the change you wish to see in the world."  This is very very VERY true.  If you do not see what you are looking for in the outer world.  Maybe you yourself do not express or possess that quality inside yourself.

Good luck and namaste
Actually its true. There is nothing wrong also when you try to adapt to changes, but sometimes because you tend to adapt by the changes you often forgot your self worth or your self respect, which means that you always try to show off to other people, you trying to impress everyone. If you want to be loved, then first try to love yourself. Second one, not all people have the same intentions as you do.

To some extent people have become somewhat careless about others. Gone are the days people helped others in need at will. Now most people expect to be paid for their good deeds. Too many do-gooders cunningly have their own ulterior motives: to dupe others, take advantage of the poor and so on. But we can still salvage some humanity from people. A hope isn't lost .

No. The real thing is that two faced people is actually humanity itself. Yes, being human means to care for others and to love unconditionally without any extent of personal matters butremember that human like any other animal has instincts of self defense and versatility which we use to protect ourselves from our insecurities and fears. The only thing wrong with two faced people is that they're so focused amongs themselves that they forgot to fear for rejection thus making them inhuman.
