i have heard gambling be called many things sickness, investment,.... and now sin

why complicate things, if you see that gambling is hurting you and your life just stay away and if not keep having fun...

Yes it is, but I am not a religious fanatic, as for me, as long as you are happy and you are not hurting someone else, everything is fine, even if it is against the rules of some people...hypocrites are the first one to judge a gambler without even knowing what brought him to that situation...

I don't think it's a good thing to get involved with, IMO if you could avoid it from the start and not get related to gambling then that should be done, it's at best a very bad hobby.

Its not always sin. Because some people are lucky and they have won some a lot of money so that is quite good.

If you're a person with high respect for your religion, better stay away from gamble althought you're gamble with different currency.

It is not a sin if you are gambling or doing gamble. Gambling is just fun part of a game, everyone can do so. It will only become a sin once you gamble and loose all your money then start stealing others money or things and exchange and place a bet for gamble. Others will be using money for your family needs and let them suffer due to gambling habit is a very bad sin.

Yeah you are not harming anyone else but you are harming yourself by gambling, if you win, it's good but when you loose you are loosing your wealth and money, as gambling doesn't guarantee you success every time, sometime you win, some time you loose, part of gambling.

Indeed, gambling is not a sin at all in my opinion, it even can be good if I'm honest because it can give you a lot of profit and what have you done wrong when you gamble ?
In my eyes you did nothing wrong because its just a enjoying game that everyone can play and you can indeed not harm someone.
Although if you gamble and you have to take care of your family it can be considered as a little sin if you ask me.

and for others, if they believe in god a lot, then i guess it's a big sin, but otherwise i don't think that it's something bad, it can be just like hobby,and if to spend money on hobby is sin then everything should be a sin

Depend on each individual objective on how they react or feel against gambling.
But AFAIK when I'm learn at school, better stay away from gamble because it only make temporary fun and will make you become gambling addiction

It just become a sin when the person who is
gambling have already become greedy or become so boastful.
But when a person who gambles knows how to control himself,
It cannot become a sin. as its just like your having fun and enjoying yourself.
