I think the whales are in the right position to answer this question because they have the power to control the market to the direction that suite them. We are not sure where the market will be heading to now or later, so it is best for us to be smart enough to watch the market so we get inform about the direction the market can fall into. The Cryptocurrency market is growing everyday so with time everything will turn to normal.
I can say out loud that this is the right moment to accumulate ALTCOIN, don't be afraid to buy altcoins,
I advise you not to buy the top altcoins all at once at the same price because the current market pattern could possibly decline lower than the current price, so you can apply the DCA strategy to buy gradually until the lowest price, many speculations say the market may return to $25k or lower and it's better not to rush to conclusions to buy all assets from USDT to top altcoins because long-term investments require strong analysis and research.

It is difficult to accurately predict when the market will be bullish again. But if you believe in the fundamentals of the altcoin you want to buy, you better buy when the price drops then you have to be patient and hold for a certain period of time. Now when the market is bullish again, then you have the opportunity to sell altcoins so you can get big profits later.
There is no accurate prediction in the first place. As to whether this was the best time to buy altcoins or not, or in the next 2 years we come to see the next ATH. It is all just a sort of market prediction and non of them is reliable. To buy now it was your decision, we can't just be deceived because others are doing or that someone telling us, it is our willingness instead. I have Bitcoin, ETH, BNB, Sol...I think I was ready enough for the incoming. Patience may play on and I know I won't be in regret in the future.
Based on those above, I think alts nowadays kinda suck, aint worth holding in the bear market and we should hold more BTC or reduce the amount of alts on our bag.

No need to wait that long, you can take advantage of potential altcoins that are under the top 10, make a purchase now with adjustments, analysis and other supporting factors, which can later convince you that the altcoin has a chance to strengthen when the bull run arrives, right now. there is no market recovery yet, but rest assured it will return to normal, and by then you are in a bull run with appropriate returns.All of these changes the result, I personally believe that if you invest into something that is a bit more riskier, then you are going to end up with a lot of problems. My answer is no because market is very bad and alt coins are bleeding. Some alts already 10x down from ATH. Inflation is getting high day by day and to control this many meetings has been done which have very bad impact on stock market and crypto which cause altcoin to down more
