Well I think even if it is illegal in your country it is alright for you to hold and earn bitcoin. Just don't get caught by authority man. If you get caught worst comes to worse.

Indeed I think even if its illegal its worth holding it because its very profitable and they will not find it out.
You can easily make everything untraceable with the bitcoin in my opinion.

Bitcoin not being accepted in your country does not mean it's illegal.
Your country may not just acknowledge its significance yet.
As long as there is no law against using it, you're good.
lol you don't read the thread carefully if bitcoin just stated illegal then it's illegal, who you are changing rules by your own,it's an official rules and you can't justify yourself because you have different opinion and point of view, though you just not read the thread fully at the end as I see your third sentence :
"As long as there is no law against using it, you're good."

One of the greatness from bitcoin is the anonymity, it will be difficult to identify the owner of the bitcoin, however if your government forbid you, i think you better dont use it and also it will be difficult for you to cash out your earning while government controlling everything and watching you activity everywhere

Bitcoin is anonymous you can hold any amount of bitcoin any time you want whether it is illegal in your country or not even a person living with you don't even know that your are using/earning bitcoins or not . You can hold bitcoins Smiley . I hope your country start accepting bitcoins soon And yes we all love bitcoins and we can't leave it .
but if he is holding the bitcoin illegally. it is not fair i dont think that if an activity is illegal in some area. they why should a person continue illegal activity. so we cannot suggest to a person to continue illegal activity in their country which are bane by the government.

As i am from country where bitcoin is stated to be a illegal currency so, its ok to earn form small services and signature campaign here and hold my bitcoins ?
I need some suggestions ?
I love bitcoin and i can't leave it !
i think most of the people are facing this problem, same is the case in our country but actually they have not stated any thing against this. and i think there is no law about crypto currency in our state policy. every there is no discussion on media. only problem is that bitcoin is not accepted in any government department or private department. may be the reason is that most of the people do not know any thing about bitcoin in our area.

Of course it is legal as long as you earn it in a legal way. Many do the same thing as yours. So dont be bother
Wether it is legal or not, still no one know ho you earnedn it. So I think there's no issue at bitcoin at all because people earn bitcoin both legally and illegally.
i think the question is about the that if bitcoin is legal in your country or not. is bitcoin earning in your country is legal or not. i my country there is no statement from the government side about bitcoin. so i cannot say any thing about it. i think it may not be legal because bitcoin is not accepted in our banks or by any other government department.
iI too have not heard about btc from any media or from any source. i came to know about this from my friend. it is not illegal to earn btc. its like other currency. Earn when you have chance. Save what you have earned. SHARE about btc to your friends so that they too experience the benefits of btc.

well i doubt that there is something illegal with the ways of getting your bitcoins and holding it, unless the country has some laws on banning bitcoins or something like that like russia
Yeah i heard that russia ban crypto currency they are not using bitcoin but i think some people are still using bitcoin online but they are hinding..
Bitcoin is still not legal even here or other country but if you relay in brazil i heard that 150 stores are accepting bitcoin as payment.. so there its already legal..

If the Bitcoin is illegal in your country then I suggest you to don't Hold Bitcoins because it can be a disaster for you if the Government knows that you are using Bitcoins.....
WTF who care? the government will not be able to do anything to you. they would not even know that you are a user of bitcoin?
What evidence if you bitcoin user? no one can deny it. bitcoin is anonymous and there will be no intervention on it.
You could argue that if the government really, really cared they would be able to track your ip and connect you to your Bitointalk.org account on this website assuming you logged in through conventional means, and if they see you're part of a signature campaign they could see that you earn x amount of Bitcoin for x amount of posts, connect the dots and probably figure out what Bitcoin wallet you own, if you use the same address constantly.

There is some evidence, but it requires probably more resources than it is worth.

I think it would be okay and theres nothing wrong if you are holding a bitcoin even if its illegal from your country . But you should be careful for that don't even let anyone know in your country that you are holding a bitcoin because you said it is illegal you would be considered as a criminal because of that , I guess .

Apparently, it depends on where you live. Some countries, like North Korea and Russia, aren't so friendly towards Bitcoin. It certainly would be illegal to hold Bitcoin in one of these jurisdictions, under certain circumstances.

Earning BTC is like earning money from any business. Wont you accept money if that comes out of business you do. Same thing. What we do here is earn BTC and use them as we do with our currency. If you love to earn and save money or do whatever you want to do, go ahead and do with BTC. Earn it and use them. If your government is not allowing you to use the BTC in your country, then exchange that into your currency and use them.

It is not illegal to hold BTC but trading with some countries is illegal, like US, UK, China etc. However, BTC is anonymous and you just need to hide your ip and transact with BTC. I wish you good luck.

I've got to know about some of the countries where holding bitcoin is illegal but most of the country it is legal so
the domination of bitcoin over the world is much more and in one way or the other people has found the way to hold the
bitcoin despite of legal affairs in thier country.

You just said It's Illegal how holding them will be legal  Huh

I personally wouldn't care much If it was illegal , I would keep using it. (doesn't mean you should do the same though)
Also what country is that ? Russia is the only one who banned  Bitcoin for real I guess ?
Yeah i am from Nepal and the central authority of our country has stated any trade works or any businesses held using bitcoin will be strictly punished
Sad so i am little afraid of holding my coins too ! that's all..

If your government tells you it's illegal then it's illegal and I'm very sorry that there are still such terrible places. I don't know what I would do being in your place, but first of I would be very cautious. Do not tell to people around you that you are using Bitcoin and do not try to exchange it for another currency until it becomes legal again (which I'm sure will happen in the future). Good luck!
