If the Bitcoin is illegal in your country then I suggest you to don't Hold Bitcoins because it can be a disaster for you if the Government knows that you are using Bitcoins.....
i think there are so many activities that are illegal but still we use to do that. for example gambling which are illegal in our country still people do gambling. drinking is illegal but still people use wine. so i think bitcoin is illegal but it have no such a bad effect of the society therefore i like to keep it continue.

i think that still legal, because this is not only adult can earn and hold it
even a teenager can do it the same of adult, and there's no age or hold restriction to use bitcoin right? and using bitcoin isn't a crime except how you earn the bitcoin
What if a user earns the bitcoins from a gambling website's signature campaign? It would be still considered illegal cash as the address sending him bitcoins is a gambling website. Hence, it doesn't even depend on the source and if it's illegal in a user's country and if he is caught exchanging it, he could face legal charges.

Of course its legal why would it not be legal, there is nothing wrong with holding the bitcoin or earning it.
I think that even if people will make this illegal it will still be used a lot for sure.

Earn, hold and exchange the BTC to your currency and send that to your bank account you have in your country. A lot can be done. Using BTC alone can be illegal. But using your own currency is not. Exchange the BTC to your currency and use them.

As far I know there is no country where bitcoin is illegal.
Russia did try to ban Bitcoin some months ago, but i heard they got resistance and postponed the law. The same happened in Bangladesh and China. But so far their are no concrete laws to make it possible for civilians to go to jail.
Yeah some countries are bitcoin is illegal because bitcoin still anonymous and many people are still using bitcoin in many illegal like buy guns and drugs online using bitcoin,.

In my country, it is neither legal nor illegal and hence it's OK to earn or hold bitcoins. If it's illegal in your country, you could face a legal issue if your bank traces that you are conducting bitcoin related transactions and they would seize your funds.

Maybe the law isn't such that people who have Bitcoins could be put to the jail but maybe they coud be punished in another way, with some fines or something else. But this is realy bad and is violation of human rights, freedom of economy and markets. Bitcoin and other virtual currencies are the future no governement can't escape that.

It will not be illegal if your country or those whom with you are trading accepts bitcoin. Exchange it into your currency will be more safest than using it in real. I think one's should convert it into his local currency and trade it safely. But if he want to trade outside, then use bitcoins. It is legal.

No country had given legal authority to earn and hold bitcoin. Few countries had made strong regulations against bitcoin, so those country government has the authority to stop the bitcoin use of people if I causes negative impact on country's economy.

The legality of BTC differs from country to country. You can check some details here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country, I guess, because I suppose its only only a question of legality but also a level of illegality differs.
E.g.: Bangladesh - anybody caught using the virtual currency could be jailed; as for Cyprus - The use of bitcoins is not regulated there
but i think still there is not a single country who have announced that they have legalize bitocin. because after legalization of bitcion there will be tax income tax withholding tax and so many other taxes you have to pay. in my county still the government has yet not given an statement on bitocin currency. so we have a dowel situation about its legal and illegal.

If the amount of income derived would be greater than the cost of penalty (including civil fines and the opportunity cost of jail), go for it. Otherwise, not worth it, from an organizational standpoint.

As of right now, there are only a limited number of countries that has set bitcoins as 'illegal' materials to be held. I'm not too sure which countries they are and I'm a little too lazy to search it up but google it up and it'll be right at the front.

1. Never ask strangers from the internet for legal advice.
2. No, it's probably not legal, but without knowing which country you're from, it's hard to tell.
3. You'll probably be fine unless you run around in I <3 BTC T-shirts, and stopping people in the street to sell them your bitcoins.
4. Feel free to ignore (2) & (3), because (1) Smiley
About this I <3 BTC T-shirts - I want to share interesting story.
I heard some guy complained that customs official at some English airport searched for bitcoins in his luggage and asked him: "Where did you put them? What?! The bitcoin! Where is it?!"
I don't think that custom official had any idea what bitcoin looks like. And all of that because he was wearing some bitcoin t-shirt or something.

OP, how are the prisons in your country?   Take that into account when deciding on whether to do illegal shit.  If you're going to end up with a big black rattlesnake up your ass, with the video up on dailymotion...well, is that worth it?  Any cuntry that would ban bitcoin likely wants such pleasures for its citizens.
