No it's not provided you're buying into solid projects. The problem or mistake we do most times is buy pump and dump coins. There are other solid projects with working products that are not in top 100.
i don't think so, as long as you can choose right project i think it will be a good project to choose from. all you have to do is do a review of every project you want to invest.

Those coins/tokens that are on the top 100 have already made name but might not be more profitable like the unknown ones which are still coming up .Those new cryptocurrency that are yet to be recognize have the potentials and the possibility to skyrocket in terms of price increase than those on top 100 only make sure you select the good ones.
