Wish for the rain? Then deal with the mud too.
Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?

Well, at somepoint yes. Because it is just like it serves as a review to the crypto, and it serves as an assurance that the certain crypto is this good and does have a good value to the market. So, if you would choose a coin that is out of the list it might be as risky as having no profit at all. So better yet choose a coin which is within in a span of it might be in a top 50 or top 100, for more assurance of yours.

There are some good ICOs out there that doesn't belong to the top 100. Being on the top 100 doesn't guarantee you a high profit. Consider one ICOs platform and project and if you think that this project has a potential on being on the top 100 someday, then take the risk. It's better investing after their official launch (because some ICOs are going below the ICO price per token after their launch) so you can buy more tokens.

It's not safe enough. There is no guarantee that you will make a profit even with the top 20 coins. Crypto currency is a very risky investment

No. It is not too risky. At times, some of those coins outside the top 100 can even bring you more profit than the top ones. They are sometimes easier to purchase large quantity with just a small amount since their prices most tines may not even be up to a cent.

This pointless strategy won't bring much profit. As a matter of fact, it works even in the growing market as well as others. The problem is that it will be difficult for a beginner to sell the whole set of coins and understand that the best time has come. You may continue waiting for another growth for a year or two, many coins will disappear, and you will have losses.

Not all the time but ofcourse, investing on a popular crypto which do belong on the top 100 of the cryptocommunity would give you a higher chance to earn profit because popularity as well as demand is an important factor for cryptos. Some newly listed cryptos would be good options to invest but you will have less assurance of earning high returns since they have not established a strong communty yet in their beginning.

This is absolute nonsense. Can you tell me this popular coins that are not in top 100 of market capitalisation. The success of a coin is connected with its popularity. The most popular coins are in the leading positions in market cap. So when investing in a coin outside of the top 100 is riskier than investing in well known coin.

In terms of safety, of course. However, the risk is always accompanied by great profits. Top 100 coins also start somewhere. The important thing before you decide to invest is to look carefully

Yes, even it is risky to buy cryptocurrency that are not top 2 cryptocurrency (Bitcoin and ETH) . Other cryptocurrency don't have certain future. But I suggest you to follow the hype and be carefull, buy other coin which is people buy and sell it at higher price before people sell it.

I won't say it is risky not to buy top 100 cryptocurrency even buying below 100 cryptocurrency is also risky. So, follow your instinct.

I have a lot of coins not from top-100. sometimes these coins shoot very well and bring good profits.
I think that you need to choose a coin based on its technology and ideas.  scam can be in the top 100.

This is associated with risks, but there is a chance that if you can see a good project at a very low price, then if you change the color of the market from red to green, you can earn insanely huge money. Everything depends on the ability to find good among a large number of bad ones.

I'd say it is risky to invest in top 100, there are so many crap coins (Ripple, BCash, Verge, etc). Bitconnect was in top 100 too...

It is very very risky to buy coins not listed in the top 100. You have to talk or start thinking about really long term investment if that is going to be your next investment plans. The prices would really be encouraging to buy, luring you with their ridiculous prices. However, gaining or increasing in price would be a matter of years not one not even 3. Well,  no one can accurately predict when they would hit the moon, we all know it is something that will not happen overnight or just under a year. Goodluck to you but, brace yourself for years.

Yesterday I counted from the Top 100, more than 70 coins, which fell in price below the level of the big fall last year! I invested in more than 20 coins.

If you overuse the list of the top 100 cryptocurrencies in the market today versus the same list in January, of the top 100 you will see 20 new names that were virtually nonexistent 6 months ago, so no the risk is not high if you believe in the coin

Buying altcoins is always risky, and even more so altcoins, which are not included in the top 100. I wouldn't risk a lot of money. For me, 300-500 dollars would be enough, if everything goes well, this amount can turn into 10-100 times more.
