It is risky to invest in all cryptocurrencies regardless of the top. Yes, and the top is not much then risks volume indicator. Investing in cryptocurrencies not so risky as investing in ICO.

It's very risky to buy not top 100 crypto currencies but when the bitcoin price rises knowing that those who are not in the top 100 will rank their price or even more risky because now the scam is bigger and have bought the altcoin so sometimes they dump it so it can affect altcoin.

Hey what do you think, is it risky to buy crypto currencies that are not top 100? I mean do you have a higher chance to lose your money or not?
Yes, it's risky to invest on cryptocurrencies, more risky to invest on altcoins, and even more risky when you go lower in coinmarketcap.

That being said, a lot of good projects are not currently in the top 100 list. So if you're sure about the potential of a project go for it. If it makes good progress in future it will easily get higher in the ranking and gives you huge profit doing that.  Wink

High risk! You can not get a lot more profit!  If you buy low ranked coins ,those coins have highest volatility and if market crash, you cannot find any buyer for them.

I don't think it has anything to do with risk. There are coin not top coin but they are still growing pretty well. (credits,...)  The important thing is coin's potential, ranking is just a number. You still have high chance to lose money if you invest in top coins.

Yeah, it's a little bit risky.It6s always less risky when you chose top 10 or 20 ranked token cause they are already established. But if you enough knowledge you can invest anywhere. The project which came out of ico many times they ranked 500-1000 and it doesn't matters where they go next.Like wanchain is ranked 200+ when its come first then and now its 54.So its upto you.where you gonna invest.

I think any coin has a risk but the risk will be greater if we buy low-rated coins because the volume is still too low and potentially abandoned by the holder and when it happens then the price will fall and it will be very difficult to rise again, but sometimes we do have to take risks

It is very risky but if you are good at analyzing a project, then try to analyze the project they will plan in the future. If they have a very interesting idea or solution to deal with a problem in this world, their project could be very interested by people.

And also try to see some ico project. I suggest to immediately analyze the PDATA Opiria project. I am sure you will be interested Cool

No, why it would be risky? There are a lot of coins that are below the top 100 of coinmarketcap that are very good, like ChainLink, DragonChain, and Elixir, they all are on the top 150 - 200 and are very good coins with good products at the moment

Of course, it's risky. Generally, the projects that are not in the first 100 scam can come out. I've been saying this for a long time on the list. Not for ICOs.

It could be risky to buy Bitcoin on peak price and cry later.
Under top 100 coins, there are coins that are risky to invest, but the return could be massive.
Research is one good way to see is it worth it.

There is always a risk, but you can make good money if these coins are promising. The only question is whether you're willing to take that risk. If there are grounds for this and ideas-then of course forward

No, investing in tokens that are outside of the top 100 crypto currency has absolutely the same risks. The main thing is to choose good projects that are actively developing.

they have higher chance to lose money and higher chance to hit jackpot, because its hard to x3-x10 within top100, but easy if small marketcap.

It can't always be good. All currency is risky. But why not take the risk ?! It all depends on the project.

I agree with you. Everything depends on the specific project. This year many good and worthy projects of ICO came out, thus new coins appeared. Many of them have already shown themselves well. But there is also a sufficient number of coins that are currently traded at the price of ICO.

Every investment is risky and investing into low cap coins means higher risk but probably also higher returns!
But I dont recommend you now investing into low cap because market is in big downdtrend and probably many low cap coins will die soon  Cry.

Almost half of the top 100 last dec are gone now and were outlisted by other promising ones. So you must plan the duration on how you're going to stay in one or few crypto as it's really not for long.

Yes, of course, this is very risky and will be faster to lose all the money you invest. You should invest in the best crypto coins and can promise for the future.

It definitely is risky, it's highly risky and it's unadvisable to do so. There's a reason why there are
lists of top 100, top 10 and even top 10's of best cryptocurrencies out there, they provide people a
and investors updates and guidelines on the current hereabouts and status of new and old currencies.
People derive some of their strategies and decisions on this lists. Better take a look at them before
investing on any currency, it might be the break you've been waiting for.
I do not understand why to pay attention to not the most popular coins? In any case, this is action against their finances. It seems to me that it is better to pay attention to more perspective and rating coins, let them and have less to invest.

In my opinion, no risk no reward and the more the risk the more the reward. When it comes to dealing with top 100 cryptocurrencies, it actually does not matter how risky it can get or not because even the top 100 cryptocurrencies have high risk too when buying and selling. On the other hand, the cryptocurrencies that are not listed in the top 100 coins, despite the high risks involved can give one a mind blowing profit that can not be achieved in the in a short while in the top 100 cryptocurrencies.
