Do your due diligence to explore more the forum and learned from them and when you think you’ve gained sufficient amount of knowledge, and you’re ready to take some risk, then you can start buying bitcoin even at a small amount. Choose your own crypto wallet that will safely store your bitcoin. I suggest go for a cold storage if you sim to hold longer of your coins without intending to sell at a relatively short period of time. Through DCA, you can increase the volume of your bitcoin which you intend to sell only if their prices have reach an all time high.

Yes, at least in my case, that's what I did, I really explore this community although I have an idea already of what bitcoin is, but still I'm willing to learn from my seniors and also give what I understand, so it's a give and take relationship here.

As far as buying bitcoin, it's not too late for everyone, we can still start today and I think this is still the best time because of we are still in the bear market and the price is still very cheap. We just have to do like DCA if we don't have a big budget and just be mentally tough and do it religiously, week after week.

I've been a member of this forum for a while, but I spend the majority of my time in the bounty section because I was introduced to the forum to take part in bounty campaigns, which I won't say have been very profitable so far.
Bounty campaigns are no longer profitable, participating in bounty campaigns is just like wasting money. It's better you just change your mindset, because if you want to focus on the bounty section, then you won’t be earning anything and you won’t still be able to learn about bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Maybe time will come when people will be able to earn from bounty, but currently bounty is totally a waste of time.

I was interested in learning everything there was to know about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, but I had no one to teach me. I tried searching online, but some of the concepts were too complex for me to understand, so I needed some guidance.
The forum here alone is enough to teach you about bitcoin and cryptocurrency, just make sure you are ready to read and go through the previous threads created on the forum here, and if there are other things that you don’t understand and you can find threads related to them, then you can create a thread and ask about them. People are here to help you out without collecting any amount from you, but don’t forget about the forum rules and don’t go against them.

Please From where do I begin?

if you want to learn about bitcoin from this forum then first just read, read and read, after gaining some basic knowledge about bitcoin and economy.
you can start discussions about topics or ask questions by starting a thread. but first you might want to read all rules about posting to not get in any account or trust related troubles
or simply read this thread Newbies - Read before posting, click blue texts which is a hyperlink and read everything.
here you can read Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ
by mprep
use "help section on menu bar to know about layout of the forum.

And you want to learn from other places than here are some links:
https://btcinformation.org/en/getting-started
https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Bitcoin
https://github.com/bitcoinbook/bitcoinbook#mastering-bitcoin

I appreciate that you stopped wasting your time on bounties and free stuffs.
And if you don't have a job and wanting earn money, than find a easy no skill work offline because online work need skill experience, proof, portfolio, etc.

Please From where do I begin?
You have started already the moment you realised that bounty is totally waste of time, what I want you to do is do not stop the learning process because learning is a continue process. You starting now is never too late, let me tell you what you don't know, I may not know your age but let me tell you their people who are older than you have not started learning bitcoin and they are preparing to know more about it. So don't be discouraged that you are late, take for instance between Obama and Trump, Obama was living and Trump came, if it is about late Trump will not even thinking of it.

I saw your account was indeed registered in April 2022 which is a year and some months, That is a good time you have spent here missing a lot of information that could have transformed your life in terms of knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, sometimes is not about making that money but we also need proper knowledge and understanding of what we do.

However, nothing is spoilt yet and the fact you have come to realize the need to learn and gain more knowledge is a step in the right direction, and I assure you that the community will feed you with the proper information about what you are looking for.

I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert.

Welcome back to the forum even though you were not gone completely but I think anyone who's interest lies on the bounty section is half way out of the forum. I think you need to create more time to be active on the forum, read more instead of creating threads, always remember to make more research to confirm the information you come across on the forum here and remember to always follow the rules which you should be well aware of by now since your not a new member and don't forget to avoid spamming, copy and paste then plagiarism which is seen as an offense which can lead to you being banned here.

Without anyone's help, I began studying the forum and gradually, I began understanding some things, and I learned that bounties are no longer as profitable as they once were and that they are simply a waste of time and also I figured that I can learn more about bitcoin here.

You have taken the right steps and it'll favour you in the future, it's never too late to make the right decision when we're on the wrong path of life just as you were. The mistake you made wasn't that you participated in bounties but you shifted all your attention to just bounties and this means you were more after the "how to earn" instead of leaning first. Let me ask you this question, if bounties were still profitable would you have still picked interest in learning about cryptocurency instead of just participating in bounties and are you shifting your attention just because bounties are no longer profitable. What happens in the future if bounties becomes profitable again will you go back or continue improving your knowledge on cryptocurency. I asked those questions so you'll know what you really want (is it to make money or to learn).

I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert. I desire a new beginning and am hoping that my prior participation in bounties was not improper. In order to accomplish this aim of mine, I will need all of your help and guidance.

If you really want to learn and not to grow your account on the forum to be eligible to participate in signature campaign since bounties aren't profitable again then your account history of been a bounty participants isn't important. What's important is you dedicating time for your learning process through asking questions and doing personal research to improve your knowledge on cryptocurency. Use the resources been sent to you by the forum members and study. Watch educational YouTube video and whenever you have some misunderstanding don't fail to ask questions on the forum and we'll assist you in the best way possible. We have very intellectual users on the forum so you'll be in good hands.

It's not too lateeee, I would sayyy, buhhh - you've got a reputation of a shittyhead spammer that flaunts the bounty section as you said.... You think people don't notice that??? Buh, you're actually sensible and I'm wondering why it took you so long to realize you were not going anywhere further...
All I'll recommend is - stick to the grandrule ... Secondly, read majorly about Bitcoin and its recent trends, speculations, utilizations and operations.

When we say about gaining knowledge about something then it's never late and you could start anytime but the focus should be on that not anything else because the more dedicated you are more you will learn about it.Explore the forum with a member perspective and read out threads you find useful especially the pinned one's on each board that will help you a lot understand some rules also.

Since you've been on the forum for a while now im pretty sure that you have learned, in the past days when I was very new to crypto I had no one to teach me anything, I learnt myself, I am not always lucky with people, it's like they see a potential in me, and them teaching me something can make me surpass them in every way, it's like they are scared, this is how I see everything happening around me.

Do not give up, everything that's needed to be known about crypto is available on the internet, allow internet to be your guidance, and luckily you are now available on the forum, it's one of the best place to start, so start asking your questions about what you will like to know about crypto, this can also make you start earning merits on the forum, which will improve your chances of reaching a higher rank.

Altcoin bounties are a complete waste of time, right now it's better to learn about crypto first using this forum and you will slowly grow form there, and when you are highly ranked you will be able to join other members that are getting paid in Bitcoin to promote some legit projects on this forum, it takes time and patience, but always remember that, knowledge must come first before money, take it slow.

It is never late to start a new beginning, most times when things begins new good result is derived because I think it is the best time to know and the best time to have interest to do things right. If you were into bitcoin before now and with no proper understanding it would have cause you some loss by not doing things in the right way. Just have courage and never have doubt or feel you are into this at the late time , this is the right time for you. Do your best in making research to get knowledge and you will enjoy this moment of  embracing bitcoin.

I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert.

Becoming a Bitcoin expert is not a career path, you can't reliably make money from it. Being a Bitcoin enthusiast is a hobby and it requires a lot of time and effort to understand Bitcoin on a deep technical level, without any guarantee that you will earn money through your expertise. Companies don't hire Bitcoin experts, they hire programmers who are faimilar with Bitcoin software. Websites don't hire Bitcoin experts, they hire writers with knowledge of Bitcoin.
I was wondering one day that as the future of bitcoin becomes more bright, there may ne a time that bitcoin experts would be sought for. I mean they will be in high demand. This should be when varsities begin to teach bitcoin professionally, maybe bitcoin experts may be seen as professors. I support your idea to Op. Learning the basics of bitcoin is enough to keep him going in the industry. As he grows he keeps advancing.

If your goal is to join a signature campaign, then say it out loud.
If he eventually admits, he will be tagged as coming to forum because of money and many likely end up in people's ignore list. It is better not said.

Please From where do I begin?
As a newbie, I suggest stopping for a while a bounty hunting and spending more time reading rather than posting in the forum or joining Bounty stuff.  The more you gain knowledge which makes it becomes easy for you everything, from having technical skills about Bitcoin and a higher chance to rank up.

I also wanted to suggest this same thing.  Instead of hastily looking to earn, it is much better to equip oneself with the knowledge needed to rank up in this forum.  It is worth taking to spend more time learning and understanding blockchain technology, its technical composition and economic integration.  This way you can contribute to the forum discussion and might get the needed merit to rank up and join finally able to qualify for the signature campaign that pays in Bitcoin.

Read every pinned thread on each section, that's very informative to us.
Well, good luck with your journey, just always follow the rules and guidelines in the forum and you'll be alright.

Watching and reading more information about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can also help and @OP it is not too late to seek a new beginning since the cryptocurrency industry is still young and I think the technology is here to stay.

I sincerely appreciate all of your generosity and support, and I thank you all. I've been busy, so I'm just now reading the responses. I've seen all the links you've provided, they will undoubtedly be helpful to me as I embark on this journey. I won't hesitate to ask questions if I run into any problems. I appreciate you all.

If you have not come across the forum rules you can go back and check through Ratimov Encyclopedia you can be able to get what ever helpful link that you are looking for and it will guide your way around the forum and things you need to learn about bitcoin, wallet and security all can be found in their.
Thanks for sharing me the Ratimov Encyclopedia link, it will make it much easier for me to search the forum and it will be extremely helpful for me since it has so many useful topics, it is now understandable why some people suggested I read a lot and that I should probably put more of my attention on reading than on posting.
Don't worry, I am familiar with the forum rules.

Please From where do I begin?

You have already begun your new journey and you have begun it in the right place, So many participants of bounty campaigns are not aware of or choose to ignore the main purpose of this forum until they realize that they are not getting anything from joining from these altcoins bounty campaigns.
They need the knowledge to grow and they failed to learn many things about Cryptocurrency in general, I'm glad that you are out of it, hopefully, many more newbies in the altcoin bounty campaign will realize that they have to roam around and learn, because, there are so many things to learn here in Bitcointalk.
