When it terms of reality in a certain places, people do make crimes because of poverty and they only work for money.

But if you know how to save and invest then you will surely prevent having work that is not good to other people.

Money is the root of all evil sometimes because you can buy other people's dignity if they really want a certain money just to survive.

Those are people who don't know other options how to earn decent money. Or sometimes they will choose that route because for them, they have no other option and that's the only option that is available at their disposal. But if you want to earn a decent living, you can always find one, even if you will not be earning that much. If there's a will, there's a way, as the saying goes. Not all poor people will go to this route, there are some that can emerge successful despite being challenged with financial situation.

It is often said that the biggest difference between the rich and the poor has it origin from the mindset.
One major question that always borders me is "are we created with different mindset at birth and what role does environmental factors have to place on mindset of an individual".
Ubong King said "what you see determine the level of your achievement. The rich man orientation differs from the poor man orientation because While the rich man is thinking about wealth creation and self dependence, the poor is busy thinking how evil money is with the notion that money is the root of all evil hence they prefer to be poor than miss the Kingdom of God forgetting that our heavenly father who is rich expect us to take after him. Consider this,
"IS MONEY THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL?"

No it is not. Money is just tool for humans to trade easier. Without money we would need to trade with other goods again. It could happen like in the past that we just switch back to gold. Then the rich people will just own more gold. And for the poor people it will be hard to aquire any gold at all. There will always people who have more and who have less.

It is not the money but the greediness and stupidity of the people that made this possible to happen. from this Evil becomes powerful because of how people act and think.
If you let your life revolve only around money and you don't even form social connections anymore and you see people not as a person or a human being but a tool for you to make money, that's when things get hairy for you and the mantra that money is the root of all evil becomes true.
in the end it is still the peoples behavior that helps Money to become Root of evil.

I don’t think so. Money may be the root of most evil but definitely not all—lust or greed, perhaps is the root but that’s entirely subjective. I can see why a lot of people come into this conclusion because they never see money as something other than a tool for realizing many evil schemes. But at the end of the day, money helps people, and certainly influences some good men to help others.

A true believer doesn't need to be too focused on money. The truth is that if they want any amount of money for doing the work of GOD (and according to the Will of GOD) they will receive the money. The world is so faithless and evil that they don't know this fact is 100% true and works all the time.
And it's important to know that the worldly richmen are at the mercy of the poor men who are Citizens of Kingdom of Light. The Spiritual truth is that they actually rule and the world belongs to them. Whatever belongs to GOD belongs to them, and there is Power in their tongues.

So, as a Citizen, money shouldn't be your major concern. People who are not Citizens don't know how wretched they are until what they put their trust in begins to crumble.

A prisoner gets around £40+k spent on them a year, comparing that to a common working class person making £26k, it seems kinda strange.

And I work all year for $5-6k! Where is the justice?!

Money is a management tool; it is neither good nor bad. However, money is directly related to property, and property obliges it to be smartly managed. The poor are sometimes not ready to take on the responsibility of managing their property and therefore sometimes prefer seeming freedom without this property, hence the false notion that money is evil. It is better for them to consider money as evil and not have unnecessary obligations to society.

I would say just a tool! And with that tool, you can do many things... for example, you can buy more tools, like a hammer... and yes, both tools are neither good nor bad, but you can use them for good or for bad... it's up to us!

So the root of all evil and good are we people! We are free to make the choice, or at least we should be free to make a choice! But making a choice depends on circumstances! And those circumstances are different for all of us!

It's the idea of the people that is the root of all evil. Money is just money, it can't do anything on it's own. It's the people who use them that makes money something. Others think that money paves way to goodness. At the end of the day, money is just an instrument for the people's intentions.

Money is so important in this world now that I would agree that it is affecting the poor. It has just taken the place of the barter system which I think was a very sustainable way to lead a life but with a growing population, it was not possible to continue the system.
I agree with many that money does makes people do anything to achieve it even if it is morally wrong sometimes but also I have seen people resisting any activity just for the sake of money. The individuals who follow money are the ones who are making this world more miserable.

Yup, the most typical misconception about money and wealth. It is not the money that is evil but the deluded minds that use money as an excuse to somehow alleviate the guilt the feel from their actions or to sway people's judgemental minds. The most vutal things that makes a huge difference between stupidity, greediness, and contentment are the person's knowledge and morals. Which can only be instilled deeply at home and by the efforts of parents/guardians to provide proper guidance and educational opportunities for the children.

The lives of people today revolve mostly around money that it became the center of their lives so risking everything just to gain more makes the definition of money worse. As for me, things will depend on how we see and how we aim for money. Some people work hard and grind so hard just to gain it while some people are doing bad things in the name of money. It would only be the root of all evil if we'll get it the wrong way.

Different people have different point of views about money and wealth, sure you can say that money turns people's emotions and makes them do anything to reach their goal and get the money, but also there are the people that work every day hard not necessarily in the pursuit of money but to achieve their dreams and their goals in life, and to me that is what makes people different there are the ones who run in the pursuit of money just for the sake of it and ones who run after their dreams, so money in the end should be a tool and not the end goal that one should go after.

Money isn't the root of all evil, humans are the real reason. Poor man always think about how to make money but rich people knows how to make money with the work of other's effort.

Everyone born with the same mindset, but their mindset into something which depends on how their growing stage will be.

Money, like any other entity, is neither evil nor good. It all depends on what and how to use them, as well as on our attitude towards them.
It is like medicine, in the right doses it is good, and the wrong use can only do harm.
The second side is our perception. It is natural for a person to seek an excuse for his problem, where he himself is not guilty of anything, but someone else is guilty. The best example is the mentality of the poor man. It all boils down to the fact that his problem is poverty, and he is poor because someone has a lot of money. This is a classic "defensive reaction" of weak people, it was, is, and will be

Money is a hoax in itself. Humans basically strive for luxuries and comforts, money is just a way to achieve it.  Money is after all root of all evils but only if you see it on a macro level. For example the countries around the world fight for power which would eventually give them economic fortunes, political parties use god knows what ways to defeat each other just to satisfy their power hunger which would eventually give them money. Even businesses use all the unethical practices to make sure they can be the most valuable company around the world. So a lot of money is definitely a root of evil, but this is what keeps humans busy, to be honest, this is what has made us so advanced today that we are discussing this issue despite sitting at different corners of the globe. Even though money is most of the time the driver but we get inventions and innovation as a by-product too. No one has seen the heavenly god or father you are talking about, so I think it's better to use your life for such innovations than to donate it to a heavenly person you don't even know exist.

PS: I don't know if it is appropriate to discuss this in the economics section but let it be.

The love of the money/any other things or greed is the root of evil in this world. The desire to abuse and use people just to gain more money exhibits greed clearly. The desire of humans to seek their greedy thoughts will never cease to exist because even if it is not in terms of finance, it can take on any form as long as abuse and overconsuming is present. The government or the politics is a good example of people who are greedy considering the fact that some countries never experienced prosperous years because the politicians are putting it in their pocket and turning their eyes blind for those who are in poverty.

money is never the 'root of evil'...

human greed is the 'root of all evil'. Money is a means of human exchange to meet the needs of daily life, If humans can control their greed for money then the world will be calm and peaceful.

I don't think money is the root of all evil, rather, it is "the love" of money that is the root of all evil. The misconception that money is the root of all evil is a propaganda promoted by those who have accepted their financial situation and have found solace in the fact that they are poor, so to console themselves, they quote the scripture to their benefit.

The actual scripture where this quote emanates is from- 1 Timothy 6:10 (from the KJV bible) which says - "For the love of money is the root of all of evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Take Note of the first sentence, "The love of money", not "money" alone.

And thank you for the first correct response to the poorly worded version  the op used.
