I think ADA is better because NEO has too many issues they didn 't resolve in their code...Either of the two will going to give you good amount of gains but it really depends on your risk management,ADA is cheaper but the risk of losing money is bigger than getting NEO,because NEO is a solid platofm which wont easily fail because the community is getting more massive from time to time,because the developers wants to use NEO over ETH...
