blue Snow, you have said that when playing online nobody could read you and use that against you. But that isnt always like that. There are those who are good at reading body language aka social engineering. For example by the time you spend thinking should you click call when you get cards, they can build statistics when you bluff or have good cards.
Exactly, experienced online poker players can read your moves based on statistics or based on our playing pattern after playing for a while so basically it is not 100% true if no one can read our moves in online poker.
The only difference is that our opponent cant read our gestures and expression when we are playing online poker but our playing strategy can be read through pattern and statistics.
Which one is harder? Again, it depends on the player's skills on how to read opponent's move.
Those who are great in offline poker is not always be as great as when they are playing online poker and vice versa.

I like to catch poker players or simply people when they are out of their comfort zones Cheesy I like to ask something or comment, and later see their reaction. That pause, those long seconds, when they think how to answer or reply more correctly. That very moment when person start to lie or to blush when he got caught on a lie. You cant get that when playing online. But that greatly helps when gambling offline and opponent get a tiny loss of his inner balance and starts to make mistakes. Not saying that I am an elite poker player, but such little victories against someone in verbal battles makes me feel joy Cheesy

I often watch poker videos on YouTube where the player have very good acting to hiding his cards through his flat face. I have seen them being able to win with very bad cards on their hand with a good bluff, all in his chips. So I imagine, and often play poker online, I am very happy if I get a good card and I can't hide it well so just go all in all my chips. So what do you think?, how do other players know when I have good cards when playing online?, Is by check and don't call the bet they know we don't have a good card?, I'm not good at hiding it, sometime when I have double AS, I always all in at the beginning.
Real life poker might be a better experience than online poker because you play in real life with real people and that's different from sitting in front of your desktop. I have played online poker many times and I still play it in local online casino and from my experience, it's very hard to bluff online because players sit and go very frequently, you can't also risk all-in frequently. I only found online poker good and easy to bluff when you play on tournaments where fixed number of players get the same number of chips in the beginning. This way, no one will come and leave the table like they do on open tables. Such a tournament makes it easier to bluff. Spin poker is also another good option.
The tournament format was my favorite when I played poker online, when you are playing a cash game, those that have a lot of money will always try to use that advantage and extract blinds this way, and with players coming and going, this makes it difficult to figure them out.

But when playing on the tournament format everyone begins with the same amount of chips, so it is easier to figure out the style of your opponents and then make plans to counter them, which can give you a small edge if you make it far into the tournament.

Playing poker online, is oftentimes considerable less expensive than playing poker at a table, in a land based casino. You don't need to concern about the price of gas, lodging and food. Besides that, online casinos give openhanded promotions that can aid your online gaming sensation even more affordable.

When you play poker offline, you experience a lot of additional emotions, and your ability to mask your emotions and your bluffing skills come into play. A lot also starts to depend on how well you recognize your opponent's emotions. Various psychological factors play an important role as well

Is playing poker online better than offline?
Even though many people say online poker is better than offline, for me it's not all lies and bookies' ploys, I have experience and often bet on poker gambling in the past and I know how they put out their bad cards, it's misleading.

And I also often play physical/real poker and I enjoy winning perfectly, the opponent's cards are clear and what is dealt, we can see directly who is honest and who is cheating, For this reason, I have now come to the conclusion that I no longer want to visit online poker, I am comfortable and enthusiastic about playing offline.

What I'm telling you is not that I'm badmouthing poker gambling, but that's my experience, the point is that all of us here have our own experiences and ways of gambling, you are an expert at online poker that's your greatness, but I'm not lucky for online poker.

I think you will agree that winning offline in poker gives different feeling of joy then beating guys at the table online or finishing online tournament among rewarded gamblers. I admire offline gambling because of communication at the table. Sometimes they are more fun, more interesting and useful than the game itself. While gambling online, it is hard to keep conversation with other gamblers. Dont know why. Dont think it is due to language barrier. Perhaps they are focus on something IRL, or do something parallel playing online. Dont know. Maximum I could get few phrases, smiles or gl hf.

Yeah its different since we can feel so excited seeing those people around us get applause get hype on the win we get. And feeling is really different since we can be brought up in any scene since most likely we can feel the adrenaline rush playing on offline.

Unlike playing online where we are at home alone playing and can get bored then if we are done nothing change. But if we win some simple joy we can earn since there's no one around us and if we share our wins to our online friends then the joy is limited since we can't connect with their emotions.

Going all in immediately when you have a good hand is not a good idea, because it makes you very predictable and people are not likely to call you. Especially when holding the best possible hand you want to make the pot as large as possible, but this only happens if other players call you. So, I would rather recommend you make pot sized bets every turn and let the pot get bigger slowly. In case you get reraised by another strong hand you can still go all in. When it comes to online poker bluffing is much harder because people tend to play more optimally and will call you down with good hands. I would bluff more in offline games than online.

If you can hide your emotions, land based poker is better.

If you can't hide your emotions, online/virtual poker is better.

So the problem is yourself, not other people. If you can't hide your emotions but you can predict other people by their reactions and gestures, I don't think it's good because you're also showed your vulnerability.

Poker face is something that comes naturally so we can't expect everyone to have it. And it only increases the winning percentage a little bit and on the professional level table it won't matter at all so I can say its good to enjoy wherever we want to. But why online poker is better cause we can save money from tipping but in land-based casinos it's more like a tradition to tip everyone according to how much you have won.
Learning to recognize poker faces is hard and needs experiences to analyzes every changing of their face. They must learn for some time to knows the tricks and how to play poker better. Only people who wants to learns from basics that can gets the signs of poker players so they can knows if that's the real bluff or it's fake. They can also bluffs the other players to hides their card positions so they can tricks the other players to gets win. It's needs practices from time to time and they will needs to learn without stops if they wants to becomes a poker pro player.

But if they play poker by online, they will not see the changing faces from each player because they don't playing poker in the real tables. They only used skills to playing and hopes they can wins the games without knows how to tricks the other players. But maybe there are the other ways to knows how to tricks them as for the experiences of the poker players will have more knowledges to knows.

Is talking to a person on the phone better than talking to him IRL? Poker online and offline imho are two different games and people play them to get two different kind of experience. I was said million times already about topic - "it depends from". Some gamblers feel less comfortable when they are behind the screen, than hundred of eyes are looking on him while playing offline.

Playing poker is a lot of fun offline but the fun of playing with everyone is different. But it is better to play online because you hide what you say. It is easy to protect privacy for playing online. Do not face any bad situation and no one will understand. I choose to be online to hide anything.
In as much as different people have their preferences while talking about online and offline poker, the both has their disadvantages as well as their advantages too. In terms of privacy, we can boldly say online casino is a top pick, because there are gamblers that prioritize their anonymity and privacy to every other thing. For such people, the best would be choosing online gambling because it's a lot more easier to protect ones privacy keep their emotions hidden when they're playing online which could be seen as the best option for them.
While privacy is also very much important, there are people who also prioritise the social interaction associated with gambling, because that's where they derive their thrilling experience from, for such persons, using an online casino wouldn't be such a great option for them because there are no interactions when gambling online.
It's just a matter of preferences.

Maybe depends on the availability of the person since if they know how to play poker and have money to spend for sure if they have time they would go on those physical casino to play this game. But if their schedule is so hectic then provably the option they would choose is online casino since I think they can still the same level of fun.

The only difference is the atmosphere since you might not find it as challenging as you play physically but still you would enjoy it in long run once you are in the climax playing this game. But if people really want privacy I guess this is the luxury what those online casino could bring since they could able to protect their identity especially if they are well known and can gamble smoothly without anyone bothering them.
I think one thing that depends whether a gambler would chose an online casino or a physical casino is how they really define thrill and fun in gambling .

For some, the actual fun isn't really in the game itself, but the interaction and friendly debates and arguments between them and other gamblers, thats where the real fun is.  And if you watch very well, this is the reason why some people leave their houses to go to their local gambling outlets, you won't see them placing any bets but when it comes to arguing and conversing about gambling activities or games, their very much active.

Reading people's tells at the poker table can be useful, but it has limits.  Professionals use fake signals to manipulate amateurs.  Tells help some, but they're not perfect, even for experts.  You need more to win consistently.  Reading people takes real time and work to get right and you still get tricked sometimes and  so while paying attention helps, you need other skills too.
We need to gain ground whenever we're about to start something new in the system because the outcome can either be profitable and also bear in losses. Contracting the idea that surrounds the system and not basically hitting on other areas. We anticipate in the sectors that's favorable for us and not following the trends of other people. Everyone shares their losses and profits alone and giving more reasons to always be ontop and not giving up any thoughts about the system.

In my opinion online is better because of the speed.
Played offline several times and the slow action of some people was just so annoying. It was so obvious they fold but still they drag it to not lose face when you or somebody else caught them bluffing.
On the other hand, online is more dangerous addiction wise and general security wise.
When you play offline with real money you can actually see the worth of the money. Online it sometimes doesn't seem real, until you lost of course.
Another factor is collusion, chip dumping, and so on. Online it is hard to prove you are getting cheated while offline it is much easier to figure out in my opinion.

That's a hard no.  You have no idea who is colluding against you when you are online.  I was around for the whole full tilt debacle where there was cheating happening where people could see everyone's cards.  In person you can get an easier feel for tells too.  I'm a player who needs to see people's reactions, I don't just play the cards I play the people too.  In person is way better.
yes of course, by looking at someone's reactions and emotions we can see what cards they have when playing offline. This will be more difficult if playing online, by looking at them always raise and bet some chips we have to be careful if they have good cards on their hands, that's possible they only bluff to just scare you, but if we have a strong mentality and retaliate to reraise bet, It's possible that they are also afraid too that we have a good card than them.

Not as easy as it says, you need a lot of time and experiences to be able to read opponent's gestures. Even a pro player still make mistakes while reading opponent's gestures. Your mental is also important when playing poker both online and offline, even if you feel that you have better card than the opponent, but you may fold your hand if you are not 100% sure with what you have. All in all, it is not only about which one is better for people to play online or offline, but I will say it is more about which one is suitable for us based on our own preferences.
