This year I think we will still be able to surprise, perhaps the bear market has already ended, but constant corrections speak to the contrary and everything has only gradually begun to recover. It is still bearish month for the cryptocurrencies with some short uptrends. The bullish trends are still weak and there is still no sign of bull run. Most of the coins have a short-lived uptrends and then followed by dips again. The second half of the year is nearing and there should be substantial price increase for bitcoin but it failed to happen this time.
I doubt it would ever be over. The market will always keep crashing every now and then for no known reason. I was so optimistic recently when bitcoin was touching the 10000 mark, but then unfortunately another dump happened and it is back to 8100-8500$ range. I think for the next two three months, one must forget making any major profit.
I think that the bear season has not completely ended, but it is already coming to an end. Perhaps even more the situation will stabilize in the summer, but in extreme cases, in autumn. I try to believe, but there are a lot of rumors that were not shared by last year and made the up pattern not work as planned. it is also clear that the crypto escalation path is being destroyed by the large btc sales concentration of mt.gox and that is very disturbing to the potentially increasing ecosystem.

Commonly it drops by the opening of the year the first Quarter due to the recent events, holidays, tax season, Corrections and FUD's, did you know that bitcoin price flutters around $1,000 to $2,000 on the 2nd and 3rd quarter of the year 2017? almost 2000% return on investments on December not mentioning all of those altcoins that gains from the bull run so expect some major correction from its major gains cause that is a normal thing, bear season is not over yet till we are not crossing the $15,000 mostly saying 20k.

No. You can't. While overall trend should become upwards, there are still many whales selling and annihilating any bullish attempts.
However, bulls and bears dance together in this and all the market can do is to show how big these players have become.

still not for the moment there is some decline in the market nambun bear prices will come back at the end of the year and it will be a very big spike.

It seems like the bear season was done about a month ago, but the breakout hasn't been vicious enough to confirm this notion. We will see in the coming weeks whether or not the bulls will win out, but I have high hopes that they will.
