I can say that our economy is doing better compared to 10 years ago. According to the government, there are more jobs available right now and the unemployment rate has steadily been decreasing. I think an indication that the economy is doing ok is if there are infrastructure developments, there’s peace and order and people are generally positive about their future.
Well in Brexit Britain things are going pretty well. But that is because people are feeling good that we are leaving the EU and that our govt is obediently carrying out our wishes to leave.
When voters control govts things tend to go well in general. It is when they feel their govts arn't responding to their needs that despair sets in and things go wrong.

Usually when people are happy with the way their government is doing, it has a good effect in the economy as everyone is positive in life and they are feeling comforted by the state. But when people feel that the state is doing nothing for it's people and only showing the world how generous they are, that's where people starts to be negative and feels like their leaders are traitors.

Agreed, you have a point in that matter. For whatever laws we had in our nation let us do our duty as abiding citizens. And those crimes, criminality, poverty, killings, these are not new to me or even to anyone in this forum, instead they are old but not fading away, but our government is working it so hard to resolve it, but at least they're lessen it anyhow.

I just saw yesterday the movie "Hell or High Water".
This movie goes a step beyond mere entertainment, though.
From its story of an economically depressed family, it draws out to take a wide view of the economic conditions of their West Texas setting. As the characters drive from county to county, passing myriad signs advertising debt solutions, foreclosed properties, and arid farmland, the film paints a picture of a world most in the so-called coastal liberal elite too often ignore.

Yeah I watched the film too, very interesting, this is just a picture of what is happening is most countries now, the rich and the banks getting richer and bigger by declaring foreclosure on people's properties because they can pay their debt.
what I always ponder about is that how many people can really do that for their family.

According to news paper the economy situation of my country is poor .we know that the gross domestic product,high education, technical knowledge are the symbol of development for any country which was not available in my country so their economic situation is not better than other country. But now a days there is become improvement in this situation.
The fun fact i have seen in this thread is that every country is doomed with crises and so is the reason they are all active in the forum as most are jobless

Where I live most people have to work all day long to be paid $200/month. If you have where to live that amount would be enough for one person but if you have to rent a flat it's almost impossible to survive. I'm a student and I live with my parents so I'm not complaining but for many people in my country it's really hard to find a good paying job.
You'd earn more 'western' wages that way and you'd be able to live like a king in your country.
If you at least have decent internet access, that is.

Yess in our country also the economic situation is detoriating at a steady pace .after the demonetisation the gdp of our country has dropped by 1.8 and due to that so many people have lost their job due to that .
That's bad, my country's economy is fairly good because it hasn't deteriorated but it's stagnant at the moment and our GDP has remained the same for almost 2 years. I don't know if it's going to go down from this state or not but until that time I would say it's good.
