Due to oil rate down in last year, Here the value is seems to be little dipped. In recent days I have noticed that the currency rate again stabilized in the world market. I think in the end of the year Tourism will again move to peak here, then we can see the value to high price.

If I have to judge from 1-10, it's 5 in my country, an average number I think. There are a lot of the poor and unemployment people, the poverty alleviation can't ever be done as long as there are too many corruption in every level of government.
How prosperous a country/city measured by citizens income per capita, mostly case in second world countries, the number of that is very low. I can say, we can live just enough for everyday but I need more than an effort to rise up.

For me its really really bad, before when I was young, i don't care who will be the President who will be our Mayor in the town, I really don't care as long as I eat 3 times a day, I'm good. But as days goes by, I realized that every citizen of our country should contribute not as a big one but as a Filipino you know how to cooperate with everyone. Every success has a one key and that's the COOPERATION. If our government will be cooperate to each and everyone and stop all the corruption I think all things will be possible.

I think that in many countries the economy is jot as bad as we see on public statistics but this is affected by the people who are "bosses" in their countries who do not pay the taxes.

Even though most of people pay the duties that they have to the government still someone in a good position there will do anything to get a small percentage in their pockets.

Yes, those kind of people are not paying taxes and government starts put extra taxes to salaried people. Bank loan is the another area where those people are playing with public money. If government takes strict actions against these people, the economic growth will definitely find good progress for any country.

There are some countries who want to leave and some in hurry to enter in. It means there are still some benefits to be part of Europe i guess. But It also seems the benefits are only for some countries, for others it is a nightmare. I remember when i was young and they started to talk about Europe. It was looking good, new and innovative. Now we want (at least most of europeans) our country back to what it was before. Europe create too much trouble to feed the oligarchy. We want our currency back, we want our culture as it was. We don't want to be ruled by Europe and their laws. My country was such a beautifull country before, I am so sad to see it is changing for the benefits of others than my citizen. Voting for Europe it is a trahison

I know Serbia want to be in, but most citizen would prefer an union with Russia

Same here mate, although the wages gets increased and the provincial rate became the same with the rate of what the city has, the unemployment rate remains the same. Actually I can see that there are little changes on the economy here in my country but still it's not enough to make a solution to reduce the unemployment rate as well as the poverty .

if the leader of a country will corrupt then what can you expect from these countries. they all the time busy to fulfill their pockets and do not take care of their people, even they cannot provide, basic needs to their people. in my country the economic condition of our country is not satisfactory. we can hope that in future our economic conditions of our country will become better in near future.

The minerals from third world countries are mostly getting mined by a foreign company. Countries that don't have the machinery to mine their own minerals continue to be broke after years of mining because the miners just export the minerals unprocessed so the tax would be much lower and then process it when it get to their land. It's not a rare thing because most third world countries have corrupt government so even though mining minerals should give the people decent amount of money, it doesn't.

Not now... Actually the mining act of 1995 is being under review now in the Philippines and said to be unfair by the new DENR secretary... Permits are not given to those who are not responsible miners.. Those corrupt officials too, who give permit to those irresponsible miners is being summoned, and not to mention that those who take part on the fund left by some miners for the rehabilitation of the place where they mine are now under question...

The biggest problem for the economic development of third countries, there are three kinds:
1. Welfare is not decentralized.
2. The government is corrupt.
3. Human resources and natural resources is high, but stumbles regulation and administration (greed in local government tax).

It took decades to complete. But the possibility can be helped by understanding bitcoin for everyone (new hope).

So where country you are from? let me guess, Philippines, election was just months ago, so I think you are also from here. I could say that our economy isn't that bad even before this administration. leaders isn't that horrible either. Jobs are everywhere, only that, some people apply for the wrong job, and sometimes the most common courses in college doesn't meet the requirement of the job after they graduate. Plenty of jobs are here, but few people could handle it since it is not the common jobs or the jobs we want.

In few things I am also like you we have some bad history but now doing some good which need some more time to settle things hope we all will manage this but here Bitcoin is not in good position because just very few peoples know about this government have some problems with this and they are not giving any space to free this

I would say people are just posting their situation and not really wanting to reveal where they truly are. For me I am in the Philippines, well you tell by my post as I post a lot in the local board of the Philippines. Also, maybe this is because of the fact that people value anonymity very much as this is why we are using bitcoins in the first place.

The anonymity of bitcoin has nothing to do with stating where country you are in posting at this thread...

By the way, I am a Filipino too kabayan...

Just look at the post few post away being quoted, we could create such post if we want without any data or without anything and just by imagining what to post according to what we read in others... Anyway, before we post the situation in our country in this thread, the world already know it, so no need to hide our nationality...

I agree with that, we can tell people from what country we are but they will never know who really we are. That's the anonymity of bitcoin that I want, even if you will say that you are living in this country but you could always tell a lie as you are not obliged to divulge you real information.
The thing, we have different situation in our country but we are united here in the crypto world and I believe we are all smart here so we should work not for ourselves but for the whole crypto world.

Those are good points. Indeed even if we do use bitcoin and we know where we all reside and which country we are in. I didn't see that side when I placed my comment. Anyway, maybe we should get a new thread about this and discuss this further. I hope we could all work better in this forum to improve everybody's lives and remove the negativity sometimes.

I live in Europe where economic situation is different in different countries. Germany and Scandinavia are doing good but other countries, especially in south, are in deep economic depression. I suspect that in 10-15 years EUR will disappear as well as European Union.

The economic situation in my country has been so bad that we rationed power for 4 years, We had 12 hours of light and 24 hours without light. It crippled a lot of business and plunge the country in a downward spiral. Many people couldn't recover and are in debt and jobless.

If the economy situation in your country is bad the things which are produced in your country might cost less because of that. But Bitcoin is not produced in your country so the price of it will only rise compared to your local currency.
