Your question was answered by Nakamoto-sama on January 3, 2009, and that’s also the reason why you’re in this forum but it seems that you still don't understand what Bitcoin is and why Bitcoin became great as today. Bitcoin is not yet well known to common people and still a speculative tool rather than a medium of exchange.

I still see fiat money to be more accepted in the future generally but of course cryptocurrency is here to say but we need more time before everyone accepts this technology, this mag take decades but we will be there in time. Bitcoin is the only coin that can go that far for now.
Based on the way things are presently, I would say at the end of it all, fiat remains and cryptocurrency simply remains and alternative to spending and doing transactions as well as an asset for the value it creates. Having one global currency is something that cannot work out in any region and this is the main reason a lot of countries have their own fiat system and you cannot simply impose a single currency on the whole world when virtually most countries are independent.

Most probably bitcoin will remain to be an alternative currency. Maybe once all countries consider bitcoin as legal then perhaps it could be considered a global one. We will just have to see then if it can be the only one global currency.
Yes. This is how things would end up being in the long run as bitcoin or probably some other cryptocurrencies will just be another means of making transactions, it will have its own faction, because whether we like it or not, it is not everyone that is going to end up being able to access it and this implies that fiat and cryptocurrency will both go hand in hand with some lenient regulation of the crypto world depending on each country.

the number one candidate for global currency is bitcoin and base on my own perception bitcoin is having a hard time in reaching that global currency milestone. if something is going to be a global currency; They need to do a better job than bitcoin who is being banned at other countries.

Could you see a future wherein the entire world shares one global currency, be it fiat or crypto? If I think it in a scifi kind of way, it would most probably be some digital currency that could all just use. It doesn't even have to be in this century. Maybe the next?

We are already know than US dollar is global currency and used by most country in the world. But it does not mean bitcoin will not use for global currency, i am believe if people start understand about cryptocurrency, they will used bitcoin for paying any transaction in internet

It is really hard for that,  and I may think that people will widely use cryptocurrency as an investment rather than to be consider as currency and used for buying stuffs and goods.  Cryptocurrency will not be globally used while fiat money is still existing and people still using it.
I agree. It's hard to make bitcoin as a global currency when most of the people still prefer to use the traditional paper money.Yes bitcoin and other potential cryptocurrencies have more advantages and benefits compared to fiat currency but it will never be a mainstream while fiat currency is still existing.

And why do we need only one currency? It's vseravno what to say: let's wear one clothes and shoes. We establish the same parameters and will only carry one sample. And there will be no problems. Of course, this is not realistic. Everyone wants something different. In the issue of currency, each state will not want to switch to the use of another's currency for it and will defend the right to have its own currency, which would be connected with its economy. A single currency is possible only when there is approximately the same economic, political and other systems in all states, are will be no military and economic conflicts, but differences will be blurred in states and peoples.  This will mean the highest degree of development of our society and this will not happen soon. But then it will be possible.

There is, and bitcoin proved it already. You can use it anywhere you go and it is used as currency/commodity.

But although there is one global currency that can be used to buy items online or maybe other merchants at the mall accepting it, every countries fiat currency will not be let go that easily. It is like bitcoin will the other option as always.
The traditional money will stay no matter what. Why? It is still because of the poor side of every country. Add the people in provinces who cannot afford this sort of things and just stays to the same kind of living.

yes of course, I am very confident in the coming year (the next few years) people will use digital currency. because digital currency will make things easier, especially for the country. in the end all countries will use digital currency for transactions.
By now, I can't say anything if we have the chance for it but what I am foreseeing is that time will come when most of the tool or instrument that we are using are different kinds of cryptocurrency and it is really great to see that we do have the chance to become a paperless but since I am not that expert in economy I don't know yet if it will be a great idea or not.

Erm yes, there is one already in use, anyone can use it, it knows no boundaries
or borders and the great thing is no one group, person or body controlls it!

Welcome to Bitcoin.

I can definitely see bitcoin as a global currency, but maybe not in the near future. Even though more and more people are getting curious about the crypto world, it is still not enough for bitcoin to be regarded as an official global currency but I hope it happens because it will make our lives easier.

It will be possible if crypto are acceptes in global, at least many countries that accepted crypto for payment at themselves places. Then bitcoin is one of global currency in the world that can be stores everywhere by people.

It is possible to have one global currency. But for this to happen, all the governments or countries will have to unite and support digital currencies.

It's not easy and it's very difficult to happen if there is only one currency. Every country has their own currency and it is very unlikely to unite them all to be able to accept and recognize crypto as a global currency.

I think bitcoin have possibilities for huge usage of cryptocurrency when huge adoption happpens but since bitcoin and altcoins were associated with dollar  for fiat convertion  and people were more comfortable on using fiat than digital currency theres just small percentage that it would happen.

Yes it is possible, if the world is ruled by just one person. Stock market has been struggling with what currency to use, whatt more if global curency is to be proposed.

It's like convincing a lion to eat carrot.

Although different concepts, but the idea to have one global currency was planned in 2009. US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is interested in making this idea and will be entirely under control and supervision by IMF. This possibility is the caused of bitcoin created by Satoshi Nakamoto at that time, just my thought.

However, the currency has a centralized system so that there are parties who regulate and execute all the money systems. And finally if weighed from the functions/benefits and disadventage caused by too many losses that will affect a country, especially for developing countries. So as the discourse was lost and even forgotten by many people.

And the solution is answered when the function of cryptocurrency is the same as desired, in the interest of having one global currency with a decentralized featur so that no party can regulates the money, and seen from this aspect there are no one party who find deprivation when a country allow the use of cryptocurrency. This has been felt by various countries that have received cryptocurrency well like Japan. It may take a few more years for all countries to take steps to receive cryptocurrency.

Not a single chance. Many economies are still isolated and besides that they are running in a different pace than the big ones. Having said that, their wealth is valued differently, and this is the reason of more than one currencies.
