Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning
Just don't cut the fun of others. If they are happily losing because they're enjoying when they gamble, who are we to judge?

We all have our differences in terms of having fun and with our perspective in gambling. We don't want to be losers and yet we still lose and we're fully aware that it's going to happen no matter how much we gamble.

If it's the reason of others when they've seen themselves losing and just want to enjoy those losses and accept that reason for themselves, you cannot remove that to them.

Yes, each person is different on which there are really those people who are really that just playing for fun and dont mind about on the money that they are spending as long they could really be able to get the leisure that they do seek and its true that who we are to judge? Its their money that had been used not ours, so it would be better that letting be on the things that they would be tending to do.
There are really just those individuals who do really love to get involved into others decisions on which it wont really be that something just right on having that kind of approach on things.
Gamble for fun but its true that losing is never been fun but there are ones who do easily get accepted to it and just simply move on and bet the other one. Leisure seeking
and making contentment will really be varying into each person.

Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”

It is not fun indeed. There's no real fun in losing. but the thing is that you can make the time you spent gambling worthwhile in other ways without making the loss part of your session/journey the highlight of that session. You can try gambling with friends, actually I would recommend it since it keeps the steam off the pot and you're with people that you definitely enjoy the company of, you could share victories, share the losses as well, and they can look after you when they feel like you're already on the verge of becoming too invested in the game and vice versa.

Gambling isn't any fun when you lose let's be real here, but there are ways you can employ to make it as if it's still as entertaining as if you're always winning. A little mind manipulation on your own psyche could go a long way and could even help you keep yourself from being addicted to gambling for one, among other benefits. Dwelling on the losses isn't going to turn them into wins, the best you can do in that situation is really just accept and hope that things get better the next time you gamble, or take a breather and perhaps touch grass if the losses is taking a toll on you already that you just can't shake it with a couple deep breaths. It's on you if you wanna make sure you're not aggravated by the losses, cause they will keep coming as long as you're gambling and you have no chance to stop them.

The inability to accept defeat in gambling will greatly affect the nature of gambling itself. The essence of gambling is about pleasure, but when we lose, our condition and feelings change slightly, there is a feeling of regret, which makes us lose the pleasure of gambling. But even so, the next day we still went back to gambling.

There must be a feeling of regret, especially if we have experienced a significant loss... and regret is a normal thing. And what is unnatural is, when we feel regret, but that feeling of regret is not able to make us aware of the bad behavior we commit while gambling. When we feel regret, we should immediately introspect ourselves about the mistakes we made... so that in the future those mistakes don't happen again. And by knowing the mistakes we have made while playing gambling, this can help us make it easier to improve our abilities in gambling, because we already know for sure what our weaknesses are. Apart from that, this can also help us minimize the level of losses we experience every time we gamble.

In fact, we can't know for sure whether someone really said something like what you asked in this thread, or? and yeah, we can't confirm the validity of these claims. I want to ask instead, do you think this question is important to you. are there any benefits you can gain? or do you just want to know the response from the community? for me personally, everyone is free to have an opinion according to what they put forward and even claim it, as you asked in the title theme of this thread. all of these are basically a person's rights, the most important thing is that they are not detrimental or misleading. so you see, the idea of having fun doesn't mean we don't expect rewards for the gambling we do. we are even well aware that in this type of entertainment, it takes a certain amount of money to have fun in it. well, we can imply what it means to have fun. the answer depends relatively on each individual or each gambler. let's say we lose in a gambling session, we have made efforts to win. however, the results were not as expected. for me, this is clearly no longer fun. so, ideally I should stop it.

For me, the idea of having fun is the right thing to apply to gambling. why, yes so that we don't target big wins after big wins. in fact, quite a few gamblers are trying to make quick money from gambling. things like this will release us to the level of awareness that our priority is pleasure. but that doesn't mean we don't want to win. losing is something that is certain, especially in gambling, so just enjoy it knowing that you are losing. otherwise, the emotion of anger will push us to do something beyond our limits. for example, making a deposit again even though the money is for other purposes. there are also some people who do it purely for fun, if they lose they will be fine. despite the fact, they suffer losses. if they were capable, it would have no effect.  However, this type of gambler is very rare and usually they are not active gamblers like us. as for those like this, they usually only gamble occasionally to refresh their minds after busy activities in business, work, or so on. so, the point is what do you think?

Yeah bro, there is fun in losing in gambling sometimes, it only depends on the mindset you are playing it with and the amount you are using to play it. You see, many are taking gambling too seriously, and that is why it affects them when they lose. You can imagine a person who is worth $350 depositing $250 in his gambling account. What do you expect of the person if he loses? This is certainly the amount of money that can't afford to lose, so there is no way it will not affect the person badly, especially when high risks are being taken in betting per bet. Some will even use the whole $250 at once, so the person can't have fun through that.

The same thing goes for all who believe they are in for gambling just to make money and make it big to be rich. You know their minds are already in the winning, so it can't be fun for them. But there are some like us that can deposit as low as $20 and be betting with a very little fraction of it on our favourite games. That money could last us for longer duration of days, if not weeks and months at times. That is the money I can afford to lose that will not affect me and when I deposit in casinos, I make sure it is small because I know that I will likely lose it but derived the fun. This is unlike sports betting which I take more seriously.

It depends on the company you are with and your state of mind, but also your personal financial situation. Going to the casino after a spending a night out with friends, as they are often the last places open in the morning, can be the way to wind down. If you are sensible and only put a small amount of money into it with low bets on the slots machines, then it can last you a while with occasional rewards. If you're still sober enough to have a go at roulette or even poker, then you can potentially stay near break even or take small losses while learning more about the game. It can be entertaining if a person or two in your group are up on the night, while the rest have to accept small losses, because not everyone always has to walk out as a loser.

for myself, I bet just to have fun on the one hand, not only is that what I want but also to try my luck with a small amount.
it's the same as when we play video games, we always want to win, even though we always lose, we still get pleasure because we get the sensation we want, like chatting while betting, even though we lose, we can make fun of other friends, but it's just a joke.
we cannot measure losses or wins if we win, we bet for fun, of course it is not a problem that turns fun into anger because a gambler who gambles just for fun, they already know that the risk of losing is greater than winning, so they still feel pleasure.

maybe people who dont know the sensation of losing but still feel happy think this is very strange but the fact is that I myself often lose but never change my mood and still feel happy to be able to bet responsibly without being tempted by any situation.

It's in parts and this has to do with what interest you in indulging yourself in gambling, for some their condition could be out of loneliness having no close neighbor or friend to keep company, also elderly people too out of boredom take part in gambling and these people will mainly gamble for entertainment and fun seeking reason where losing won't be something to worry about provided they are catching the fun that's killing their boredom and loneliness.
On the other side, there are the gamblers that stuck themselves into gambling for the sole purpose of making money and anything of a result that's of the opposite will definitely not sit fine with them. so it depends on the individual what made him get into gambling in the first place.

No one likes to lose, so I don’t think there is anyone that will be at loss and still be happy with it. People could feel the pain differently base on how much they’ve lost or how much they can afford to lose while gambling. If I have set aside a particular price that I can lose maximum at gambling and haven’t attained that amount yet even when losing, I will still not be in pain like the person that have spent above his budget and already at big loss. Gambling for fun is just a saying to me, no one gamble for fun, they all gamble to win.

And why on earth will someone keeps gambling for fun at a time losing seriously and still continue to gamble and someone like me can't keep watching while I waste my hard earned money to gamble while keep saying I am doing that for fun indirectly I am deceiving myself no else knows how much you lost except you make it public and why must I continue to gamble even at lost I my insane or what. I don't even find it funny with the BTC network congestion to pay transactions fee talk less of using my money to keep gambling and lose then will pick up courage to say is fun.

I think you are missing the point.  If you spend $200 to watch a 3 hour concert or lose $200 in 3 hours watching a game you bet on that you otherwise would not have watched what's the difference?  The point is if your entertainment equates to the fun you have than yes you can lose gambling and have fun doing it.  I enjoy playing poker for the competition win or lose, it's entertaining.

I don't see any fun in any case that you may lose money while gambling. It is just not in human nature to have fun when losing money as no matter you are playing for example with money you can afford to lose in the end no one will be happy to have lost money.I know we as gamblers should learn to accept this fact but it is extremely difficult to learn to just accept this fact. That is the reason why we have so many addicted gamblers.

The fun to me is not in the losing o money, the fun is in the thrills that comes with it. What's the fun of going to a firing range and firing a couple of live rounds out in the air? Isn't that losing money too? That's fun for some people.
Nobody is ever happy when they lose money but we lose money all the time without even really considering it.

This is correct, when a gambler loses money he isn't happy that it happened but he can't stop gambling too as he gets pleasure from the thrills that comes from betting. Betting is a form of entertainment, some chemicals that gives pleasure get released when you're gambling and there's not many activities that can give you similar pleasure as you won't like those activities too. Individuals continue gambling when they're losing not cause they love losing money but for the excitement they get.

Every gambler wants to make money and also get pleasure from gambling. it's their dream that they'll make money from gambling but not every single gamblers will be successful many will fail. When we're enjoying gambling we should also plan for times when we'll not be enjoying gambling as we'll be losing. Losing is a part of gamble therefore we should be comfortable losing and just enjoy the game.
No one really likes on losing money and this is something that pleasurable in the first place because we do know that human beings does give out that importance on money or simply we do love money and there's no way that we would really be able to ignore the fact that we are really that trying out very best on earning it rather than on losing it. This is why whenever we are really that experiencing those extreme losses or in a consecutive manner then those feelings or emotions that you are really that feeling would definitely be changing up from happy to furious or disappointment on which it would really be just that so normal on having those kind of switch up on which it would really be just that something a very common emotion swing in between happy and sad or really that becoming stressful.

This is why it would really be that important that once you do step your foot on doing gambling or trying out to experience it, then you should really be that making yourself get prepared on whatever things that you would really be able to encounter on which it is really just that normal where these conditions and situations which you would really be able to experience on point. So if you do find yourself that a highly emotional
type of person then dealing up with gambling isnt for you. Why? losing money will really be that commonly be experienced and if you arent that someone good on handling stress and anxiety then it
would really be giving out that negative effects on you in speaking about health aspects.

I don't enjoy losing my money to any form of gambling even with a little amount I feel it's too small because I see it like the platform is taking what I have to increase their own growth and profits. There might be people thag enjoy the fun though, they don't really care about the money. Some of them will be angry because it's not what they expect happen and not because of money. I have seen this guy was shouting and screaming when Manchester United was out of the Champions League and he had some money bets that Manchester United will make it to the next stage. Even him knows about the condition of Manchester United but for the love and hope of the team, he went ahead and bets for them to win which later went hay.

Gambling for fun is subjective, it's not the way you have in mind another person has. The day I know gambling for fun really existed was the day they big men bets on golf, I don't know why people old men loves that game but the betting sound odd to me and looking at the people that were betting on it, were middle age and old men that are catching fun and laughing out their sorrow. There is fun in gambling and we have people that are also chasing the bag.

If it happens to me alone, it's a pity when $200 is lost when losing a bet, let alone it's the rest of the money that will only be used for gambling.
It's best not to use all that money, using half of it might be better so that there is still a chance to bet on other games.
That's a big amount for us, so it would be a shame to lose $200 on gambling so I won't do more than that, because if I lose $200 on gambling in an instant, it will be painful.
There is always a saying "use the money you can afford to lose" so of course gamblers like me with $200 is too big even I myself always set aside less 5% or 10% of the total $200.
Suppose in sports betting you can bet $3 can win a large amount of multi bets if it is right in choosing the team and odds.

When we lose in gambling, we feel no fun in it. At least i do not think that losing in gambling can provide fun, No way.

Yes, if a gambler is wealthy then losing money may not hurt him and he would only want to gamble for fun (and not for money). Another condition of having fun while losing is that you go to the physical casino with your friends, enjoy there and even lose, you may still have fun.

With online gambling, I do not think that anyone can have the feeling of pressure unless he or she wins in gambling. Infact, if I am a bit more specific, it's the money that gives us pleasure and fun and not the gambling itself.

Although it looks like a loss when losing a match bet, it will not be a problem because you enjoy the match more.

so in my opinion, someone can give up gambling by no longer coming to the casino, but to be able to give up the habit of betting, is a very difficult thing to do.
but if it is an online casino, it seems that people will find it difficult to stop gambling because they are still holding a cellphone connected to the internet, where online casinos can now be accessed and played using a cellphone, that is what they may have difficulty stopping, especially since it has become a habit that is difficult to stop, but If you really want to stop gambling, it's best to put away your cell phone and stay away from the internet. Live like the people before without the Internet and cell phones, whereas in physical casinos, everyone can do without going there.

but from several my friends  experiences, I actually see that the pleasure they get from gambling is only when they play and win, but when they lose, we can see that their emotions start to look unstable and even will tend to get angry and rage when we are greeting or joking.
In the nature of human beings, they do not want to lose in anything they are doing. If it is money related, it is even worse because they do not want to lose at all. In gambling, people also do not want to lose but just only few that do no mind if they lose and it is because they are using small amount of money to gamble. An amount that it is like they are not losing. Sometimes you will want to bet with small amount of money, but before you known you are using bigger amount and while losing, it can lead to anger, depression and frustration. The truth still lies in the fact that we should just use small amount of money to gamble if we want to avoid all these negative effects of gambling.
