Defeat is never fun for you. The taste of defeat is always bitter because everyone wants to win and no one wants to lose. Winning at gambling will boost your self-confidence and losing at gambling will create resentment towards your gambling skills and luck. Gamblers are such that they want to gamble even if they win by gambling and they want to win even if they lose money by gambling win or lose both these things attract a gambler to gamble. The reason we say that we should take gambling as fun is so that gamblers do not become addicted to gambling. If a gambler can gamble without becoming addicted to gambling then he can enjoy gambling.
No one feels happy if they lose when gambling, especially if they experience a big loss, people who experience something like this will definitely feel that they are careless because they wasted too much money. But if the person gambling is a rich person, they may not really care about losing because their goal is just to find fun. For the most part, people view gambling as a form of entertainment, but when you get caught up in the game, winning and losing money, at that point, gambling is no longer just for entertainment. It is not weird it's the fact that we have to accept that when it comes to gambling against a casino, they have an edge, and if you cannot bear that fact then don't play but others do because the platform is a place that challenge our curiosity if we're going to be lucky or not, humans like taking a chance and casino is both taking a chance and enjoying it.
Losing is like spending for something that is fun and entertaining. If you go to an amusement park to have fun, you will lose money. If you watch a movie and be entertained, you will also lose money. This is like gambling. You will play, you will have fun, but you will also spend money. If you lose, that would not make you feel happy, but the game itself made you happy. There is no fun in losing a gambling instead it affects your mental state if you are not careful with the amount you use to gamble so perhaps that's the reason why is always advisable to gamble with the money that cannot have a negative influence on you if is being lost on the gambling, so actually I don't think there are people who derives pleasure on losing there gambling but however one thing I no is that losing on gambling is inevitable, a normal thing that always happen to every gamblers but saying that is a fun to lose a bet is totally on acceptable because for me irrespective of how small the amount of money I use on gambling if I lost it on the process I always feel bad, so perhaps the only gamblers that can feel happy losing there bet are those gamblers that intentionally decided to lose the money deliberately. Yes it's obvious that there are lots of people in this condition instead of to back off they will consider how much they have spent how far they have gone backing off is like accepting defeats , and yes, I will rather accept that defeats than going further to lose all my money and pretend as if I am having fun. What kind of fun is that while there is fire on the mountain instead of me taking my race and leave the casino site or gambling house I will then seat tight there to look and waste my precious hard earned money all in the name gambling for fun. I won't support even advice a close friends to do that, that is stupidity in the highest order.

I would make this argument on multiple thread topics because the game is separate from the money, dont be all about the money and nothing else as you will be easily played out and will frustrate yourself imo. You can lose and gain at the same time, lose money gain experience, gain knowledge of how better to play in future this can be said to be a positive in sum total despite costing money perhaps consider it a lesson.

When doing gambling then it would be always best that you should only make use of the amounts that you can afford to lose and never ever make spend of the hard earned money that you do have just like on what you had mentioned. When a person visits a gambling shop with the intention of making money for himself, he or she will not find gambling fun if they lose. However, when a person gambles for fun alone, they won't feel guilty about their losses because they will only bet with money they can afford to lose.
I got your point and I couldn’t agree any less with you but the truth is hat here are several other things one can do to stay entertained aside gambling that has to do with fun and I’ve seen several post by users who claim if they’re losing is also a part of the fun and I think they aren’t sincere to themselves and away from not wanting to sound odd, I think a lot of people secretly agree that there is at least a tiny hope of making profits while staking a game and there is always a special joy and feeling that comes with winning and no matter how much joy and fun we claim we have in gambling, there would be some points when you wish you never lost a particular bet which is also a clear evidence that we have at least a tiny desire to make money while having fun and believe me that the major fun in gambling comes with winning.~snip~

I think if you take gambling too seriously it will be detrimental to yourself. I do have fun gambling even when I lose. Putting a small amount of money on a sports game makes it real fun to watch and be able to cheer for one side when you otherwise wouldn't have watched the game. Key is knowing you can lose the money and be OK with that. Not saying it's not better to win but I use gambling as a form of entertainment.

As someone who gambles for fun, I would like to answer this question. Yes, gambling is a form of fun for me but I cannot deny that I always think about the possibility of making big winnings when I gamble. Although, as I mentioned, I think about the possibility of making big winnings when I gamble, I can easily say that I never get upset when I consume my entire balance since I always gamble with an amount that I wouldn't be upset about if I lost, depending on my budget.
Matches left to the last minute in sports betting, the excitement of the roulette wheel spinning, the adrenaline I release when I approach 21 and ask for a card and the spin of slot machines have never been more than a form of fun for me. As I mentioned, when I gamble I play knowing that the chances of a big win are very low and I just have fun with the excitement of this process.
It wouldn't be wrong to say that gambling is fun for me because I gamble regularly but in a way that doesn't strain my budget and I never run out of balance and then gamble again like an addict.
