Experiencing defeat and losing money when gambling is a natural thing, but it depends on how we can respond to it. Namely by implementing limits so that we don't experience too much loss of money and of course by implementing these limits we can avoid gambling addiction because we are too chasing losses. We must be able to accept that losing is part of gambling itself and must be prepared for any outcome of winning or losing and can enjoy gambling as entertainment.

Indeed, by implementing things with limits, we can be disciplined and gamble responsibly and not cause things that are more detrimental to us (addiction) and we can take examples of people whose lives have been ruined because of gambling so we can learn that excessive gambling makes life worse someone gets messy and of course we don't want to experience something like that.
Yes, it is normal to experience loss and lose money, but what is unnatural is that many people still cannot accept their defeat and still want to gamble to recover their losses. That would increase their losses even more, and they would not know when to recover their losses. It doesn't feel good to experience loss, but if we can realize that this is a consequence that we have to accept when gambling, we can accept it well. We also won't gamble any longer because we know there is a possibility of experiencing more losses.

By having good discipline and responsibility, we can use gambling as entertainment because we know that chasing victory will only make things difficult for us, and we will not try. We will learn to be responsible gamblers when gambling because we don't want to gamble excessively, which could result in losing even more money.

Losing a certain amount of money when gambling is normal because as long as we can limit the amount of money we lose, we will not experience losing a lot of money and exceeding the budget we have set. However, many people still gamble more than the amount of money they use, so they experience more losses. They are not ready to lose money, so they continue gambling and hope to win some money in the next round. However, we must be able to prevent losing a lot of money from gambling, especially as we want to avoid gambling addiction, which many people have experienced. That is why we must be able to prevent ourselves from gambling excessively because it will disrupt our financial position.

And instead of experiencing more losses when playing gambling, we should prevent this by always implementing limits. This will make us try to learn to be responsible and really try to prevent gambling addiction. We can decide what is best for us, especially since we have seen the consequences experienced by other gamblers, where many of them end up having problems after they finish gambling.

Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
it's just their illusion, not from the bottom of their heart, I am really sure they cry and regret why they lose the money. I used to be that when thinking gambling is just for fun, and it's okay if I lose. but when i try to play with a few satoshi and lost, I am regret and unbelievably why I am lost. It's just a few satoshi, it's not much a thousand. with my experience, if any people out there is still hapyy when they lost, I'm sure they're just calming their self, he tried to smile even in his heart he was disappointed and cried loudly  Grin

On the time that we are really that losing money or missing out opportunity on securing profits then we do really make ourselves that having those kind of diversion into our minds that we are really just that fine but deep inside we are really that indeed crying and really that liking to explode. This is why it would really be that best that on the time that you do deal up with gambling then you should really be at least wary about those risks involved so that you wont really be ending up yourself having those kind of regrets on which you do at least having that kind of reaction on which you wont really be that affected that much even if you do lose money since you've been wary and you've been prepared on the things that could possibly happen or you are already that making those anticipation.

This is why it makes no sense to complain about your losses when gambling, as if a person is really a responsible gambler and they are only using money they can spare to lose, then they should know that even if they did not gamble they would have used that amount of money to get entertainment any other way, and this means they will not have that money on their pockets even if they did not gamble, so they are not really losing any money at all when you think about it.
If someone gambles responsibly, they will not complain if they lose when gambling because they already know it is the result of using their money to gamble. If they don't want to lose their money, they don't need to gamble and keep their money. It will be better for them because by saving and using their money for other things, they will not feel sad or frustrated from gambling. They can also get pleasure from other things that don't use too much money so they won't lose their money.

~snip~
Gamblers should stop acting like losing is not the most occurring outcome of gambling. When a player already knows about losing in gambling. Why then would he get sad if it happens. It's more like being aware of an incident which is about to happen, and when it does occur the person begin to act as if he wasn't informed earlier about it. Same applies to the pleasure gained via gambling, but some wave it away and don't bother to remember the fun but decides to feel sad or angry if they don't win. One must not always win in gambling, losing comes more than winning. The earlier gamblers begin to get used to losing the better for them. They'll enjoy the game better than those who look forward to winning without losing. Getting over those losses will help the gambler to focus on his next valuable prediction other than chasing losses.

We spend money every day of our life, and gambling should be part of our budgets. Pondering in sadness over lost money in gambling is more like being sad for hanging out with friends and family ordering drinks and food in a restaurant, and the bill handed over to us. Provided we have the money and it's not too much of a bill, then clearing it wouldn't make us feel sad. Same applies to gambling. Once the gambler is spending minimal money his facial reaction wouldn't make any difference even though he losses the money. That's why we, gamblers, are advised to gamble money that we wouldn't feel sad losing. Like the instance I gave above, regarding visiting a restaurant. If you spend big amount of money in gambling and lose, there is no way anger wouldn't flourish in your mind.
When gambling, a gambler may experience losses more often than wins, so he must be prepared for the losses that will come to him. He also doesn't need to be sad for too long because by knowing that loss is coming, he can manage the use of his money so that he doesn't lose a lot of money. This needs to be arranged before he starts gambling because if not, he will only experience more losses, and that will make him feel sad about his losses. And when he feels sad, he will probably remember it for a few days and find it difficult to accept his loss. Gamblers should learn to accept their losses and avoid using much of their money. Someone who really wants to win will try to gamble more often, and even though he experiences loss, he will still gamble to chase a win. Gamblers must be able to learn from what they have obtained to become wise gamblers in gambling.

That is why, before gambling, a person must be able to allocate an amount of money that can be used for gambling and not deposit an amount of money that is more than he can afford. As long as we can allocate a certain amount of money for gambling and have clear boundaries and good self-control, we will not become excessive gamblers in gambling. We will always be careful in using our money because we really want to avoid excessive gambling. We also cannot spend so much money to gamble because we will always remember that we have many daily needs that we must fulfill. By always setting limits when playing gambling, we can try to enjoy gambling and can use gambling properly and also not gamble excessively.

Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

You are having the wrong perspective about winning or losing.
I ask you: Do you always lose when you bet on games of chance?
Obviously not! At different times you win money, even if you lose later, then you win again and that's fun.
If you always made money gambling, would that be fun? I don't think so! It would certainly be great to make money all the time, but not fun.

Now, exchange gambling for a football match for your team at the football stadium. Many people pay a lot for the ticket, and I ask you: Does your tme always win? No! So why would you keep spending money to go see it? Because this is fun.

You need to separate things: Making money is not fun! We need to spend money to have fun, entertainment is not free, it is a source of income for someone and we are just consuming it.

There are instances where one might find fun even in a lost bet. Yeah, your money is gone but, you become proud still. It’s something that happens mainly in sports betting. As unusual as it may be, I’ll give you an instance.

Have you ever taken a bet against your team?
Most times, we tend to know these elite teams with less odds, often the favorites to win and when they are matched against a team which you fan but clearly, you don’t want your team to loss even though you acknowledge the superiority of the other team. You might be pushed to bet and bet on the favorite to win the game. Now, should your fanned team win, you loss on your bet but, your still half your team won. Should your team loss, you win your bet and somehow, be cool with what you’ve got.

There is fun in this still.
There might be other means to have fun but then, we wouldn’t dish gambling just because it has a possibility of loss.

Of course not, when you lose you will be a little disappointed, but when you play does it count as having fun?

For me there is nothing strange, when you play gambling with ready to lose, it means that it is for fun, right, not thinking about losing or winning we must be able to feel how fun it is, from some of course when you lose there must be those who feel disappointed including myself, but I will not bother because I know the initial goal is for fun not looking for profit.

So I say again, there is nothing fun about losing, but you have to know that gambling is for fun not thinking about winning because this is a form of luck that does not know when to win big.
I have a very simple formula in gambling which helps me have real fun in it irrespective of the outcome and here it is.  Any funds I deposit into the platform is considered as a lost money by me, now I start configuring my strategy and testing my superpowers in my stakes, if it turns out negative, I laugh at myself and if positive, I congratulate myself. I don't cast any hope on it and I enjoy every bit of my involvement. Funny as it  may sound, sometimes I even stake the least possible outcomes, just to view the potential wins and ponder on the possibility of getting such big wins, since there's a possibility of getting almost anything from the platform. As  soon as my funds gets drained, its wrapup for me and I move on to the next activity for the day with no strings attached to the outcome of my gambling session.

I have to agree at some part of your statement but take note that gamblers are not dealing with the same gambling type.

Your statement is applicable at those gamblers who are used on doing sports betting and strategy-based games. In this type of gambling, they can surely find a way to bounce back and make their winning rate as good as possible over losing rate. On the other hand, when it comes to playing at pure luck-based games, it's all end up on being luck that's why most gamblers here always want to chase losses.

When we don't want to lose when gambling, it's best not to gamble so we can save the money well. We will not feel like we are losing money because of gambling, and we can do other things that can also give us pleasure. But when we are provoked into trying to gamble, we can forget to control ourselves until we lose a lot of money. When we have experienced the loss of a lot of money, we will no longer feel pleasure but have replaced it with the desire to recover from the loss. But unfortunately, by trying to recover from these losses, we will only experience more losses, which is really not worth doing. We must really be able to limit our gambling activities before we experience bad things that can cause our finances to collapse and run out of all the money we have.

And it is true that before we start gambling, we should think about what the consequences would be if we lose the money we have collected so that we can make the right decision. We don't need to gamble like other people because we don't want to lose much money. The decision is in our hands, and we should really think about it before deciding so that we can make the right decision.

Of course because in gambling there are only two end results if you don't win it means you lose at that time, and all the choices are in your own hands, like you said if they really don't want to experience the problem of losing a certain amount of money then obviously there is no other choice but not to gamble, but unfortunately most gamblers now they are too focused on a chance of winning, simply want to win but don't want to lose and isn't that a loser? Obviously, however, you can't do anything in gambling to increase the winning percentage to be closer or bigger, because it all depends on how lucky you are in running the session, what you have to pay attention and think about is how to prevent you from losing a large amount if you really want to engage in gambling and that means you have to have very good self-control and be firm in limiting the gambling you do.

So the point is that your choice  will determine your fate in the future, in any case and not only applies to gambling, you need to really find out what gambling is really about  before you finally get involved, if you already know  and are ready for all  the possibilities that will occur then please all decisions are in your hands as long as you have good responsibility.

It has to do with the mindset my friend, this mindset of being happy when I lose might be ugly to any but I started practising it in trading and it is helping me so well.

I agree with this view. Whether it's for fun or not depends on the mindset of the gambler. Gaming for fun doesn't mean there are no bad days, it only means that the gambler doesn't depend on gambling to become rich. With this mindset, it is always a win-win. When he loses he feels nothing, when he wins he gains excitement.

It is good we understand that people who gamble for fun have always had more wins due to the fact that they make fewer selections thereby increasing the chance of winning and overall, they always win.

There is no fun while you lose no matter what mindset you have.I have tried to apply this mindset saying to myself that I won't be sad if I lose in slot machines as long as this slot will give me the bonus several times during the session.I have gotten the bonus several times and lost in that session,I tried not to be sad yet it was impossible for me not to be sad. That is my argument that there is no real fun in gambling as long as the end result is losing.
Bro, I think you will have to personalise this at this time because what is working for you might not be working for others, and what is working against you might not be working against others. Maybe next time, you should completely zero your mind about the money involvement and bet with a small amount of money as well and also bet on your favourite games and let it be when you do not have any ill feelings about gambling or think that you want to make that big money from it. If you think you can fool yourself by not being sincere with your mindset about it, the result will always be what you are saying now, so it is only when you are really ready to let go of the money involved but embrace gambling as a means to get fun, then only can you understand what I am saying and even feel it as well.

Before I go, there will always be controversy about this and some will never agree with it since their mindset about gambling and this particular ideology is wrong. So they should rather blame themselves for being hurt and not having fun and not others' styles. I can even remember when my wife was playing a game on her phone, we were there for about 2 hours at night not even knowing that time had really been far spent. She lost and gained at different times but we had the fun eventually as we were dragging the decisions to make by ourselves. A month has passed now, and she has not opened the gambling app. This is because it is nothing to her, she has a good job, so when she opens it, it is not the mindset of the money, but the fun. That is why losing is nothing to her not to mention my own style as well. Still counting and she may not open the app for months, this is the kind of mindset I am talking about, not the desperation kind of mindset.

How people see gambling as "fun" can change a lot, and people gamble for different reasons. For some, the thrill of taking risks, the fact that the results are hard to predict, or the social aspect of gaming may make them feel alive. It is important to remember, though, that not everyone sees things the same way.

exactly! this is true because we have all practiced it ourselves. when we gamble for fun, we will of course only choose to bet on small risks, whether it is a small or large choice, they will definitely choose a small risk and get a small win but it can bring happiness.

previously I said what @EarnOnVictor said, if it all depends on how we think about gambling and if we can think critically and have mature thinking, understand all the risks involved in gambling, we will definitely not have any problems because we already know what to do so that you can still have fun with small bets and when you win, even if the amount is small, this is the real goal for a gambler.

First of all, of what use is gambling when you are losing?
To me it doesn't make any sense to gamble knowing that you gonna lose, do you expect any fun when you lose money, to me it's better not to gamble at all than to gamble and lose, it doesn't make any sense, even though we know that gambling is for entertainment,  we still need the winnings to keep our motivation high at some point and for that we have to take a close look at our winning ratio, to know when we are making the loses to adjust yourself or to implement a new strategy.
It's really hard to believe that someone thinks gambling is fun when they lose. When a gambler bets his hard-earned money to win, how can it be fun if they lose again? Gambling is considered to be fun even if it is lost but those bets do not risk losing money. Again we know that bets that do not change money between winning and losing cannot be considered real gambling bets. People who think of gambling losses as fun must have a different perspective on gambling but that is not recognizable by the most gamblers. A person rich or poor who takes up gambling must take it seriously because it is concerned with the money.

Yes no one want to lost his earning money from gambling. Everyone has emotion and they play emotionally and they earn. No one will be happy when the face losses When they gambling. Everyone want to play safe and save their money and make profit. No one will be happy then they lost their hard work earnings. They always try to play seriously and make always try to safe their earnings because that their hard work earning.
It has to do with the mindset my friend, this mindset of being happy when I lose might be ugly to any but I started practising it in trading and it is helping me so well. This is why I also replicate it in gambling and it is helping me also. What is there is that people do not just have the right idea and opinion about it, it is not about the view that the person is useless, a vandal and a waster that will not feel it when he loses but it is an approach that is opposed to what is hurting people in gambling. I actually discovered this all by myself before I realised that other people are using it, it is just a means that will calm you down at losses and will rather preserve your betting/trading psychology and not cause you to resolve into emotional trading/gambling. I must confirm to you that it works, so let's forget about the hard-earned money, are they not losing in gambling even as they earn the money the hard way? If lost, will it come back to the person even if they are pained and even cried about it?

Instead, if not careful about it, the person will go on emotional while gambling/trading and will continue to try to revenge but will lose money over and over again. But to avoid triggering the negative psychology, one can position their mind on the brightness of mind when they lose, but it will be better comfortable to do if the bettors are playing with a low amount of money. This is particularly good in casinos and not sportsbooks but it is fine depending on what you want to play without any exceptions. So, if you bet with small amounts, it will be easier for you to let go when you lose but rather focus on the next betting and you will just be fine. This means that the bettor would have had a plan and budget before it could be easy. But risking so big at all times can be so inconvenient with this style of mind control.

Experiencing losing money in gambling is a risk that every gambler must face, but they also have other options if they don't want to experience losing money where they don't have to gamble and save their money for other things. It will be more useful for them because they will not lose their money and will not be triggered emotionally by losing their money. But if they only gamble with the money they can afford, they will not complain about losing their money because it is money they are ready to lose at any time from gambling. They also still save most of their hard-earned money because they understand that gambling games are just for fun and not for any other purpose. They also don't need to gamble too hard, especially if they use a lot of money because that can cause them to lose a lot.

It is really hard to believe especially since most people don't want to lose especially when it comes to money being involved. But still, for sure few people find it exciting when they've bet the wrong one as they feel the thrill of not always winning, I think it would apply to rich people like the elite ones that doesn't think of money despite losing that much, they are only focused to the fun of playing. An average person doesn't see gambling as fun but as an easy way to make profits and make your money grow. They are so rich that they just use it for fun, it is like a win-win situation for them if they win or lose, they have fun if they do not win but if they win then consider it as a bonus.
