People who are still happy when they lose may be in a good mood or maybe they are successful in other areas which can cover their small losses in gambling.

But for sure, I am happier when I win and get money. Sometimes I also experience defeat but it doesn't make me regret it, but to be happy when I lose is very strange for me. If the betting amount is small, that's normal because it doesn't affect our gambling budget. But if you use more than 30% of your gambling budget and lose, it's very painful.
Yes, when someone gambles when their heart is happy and doesn't have any problems, of course they won't think about the wins or losses they get and they also only gamble for fun and after they finish gambling they will still be happy even if they lose.

Of course everyone wants to win from the gambling they play because if they gamble and lose they will of course think about how to continue gambling if they no longer have the budget to gamble and if after losing they still have the budget to gamble of course this will not be a problem because they can still continue if we really want to gamble.

Enjoying the game when you're constantly losing is like trying to find joy in a root canal. Sure, some folks might be into that, but for most of us, it's a recipe for frustration. Remember, losing is part of the game, but it shouldn't be your main motivation.

The bottom line? There's a whole world of excitement out there beyond the casino lights. So, ditch the risky bets and explore your passions. Find activities that make your heart sing, connect with people who make you laugh, and create memories that money can't buy. Trust me, the real jackpot is a life filled with genuine fun, not just the fleeting thrill of a gamble. Now go out there and find your adventure, one that doesn't involve hoping for lucky rolls!
Only a gambler can enjoy the joy of gambling. But I think there is no joy in losing in gambling. Because when money is lost there is no joy. But those who enjoy gambling find the strength to win again even when they lose. In gambling there will be wins and losses. Gambling is perfect for those who find joy in losing. I am not saying that any gambler truly enjoys losing, but since losing is part of gambling, we can simply accept it. If a gambler wants to derive real pleasure from gambling, he must take risks and have to prepare for the loss.
So what is meant by happy here is the gambling activity. not about losing when gambling. Of course, every player wants to win in gambling and will definitely feel lost when they lose.

However, if the context is the pleasure of playing, yes, even if you lose, you will certainly get satisfaction because you have gambled according to your wishes. and everyone also has their own views on how to enjoy themselves.

We don't know what happens to them, but perhaps they will experience bankruptcy that they never imagined because they will continue gambling until finally, there is no money left, and that makes them lose all their money. If they still can't accept the loss, they might keep gambling, and when they don't have any money, they might borrow money from other people, which will only create new problems for them. The goal and ambition to win from gambling make them forget that gambling is just for fun and not to make money, so they will fall deeper into gambling without being able to get out easily. That will only make them become gamblers who are addicted to gambling, and if that happens, it will be difficult to cure them.

However accepting loss is difficult, but we must be able to try to accept it because that is the result we will receive for playing gambling. We cannot refuse it, but we can reduce the number of losses so they do not become large by limiting our gambling activities. For this reason, we must have responsibility and discipline that can control us when playing gambling and prevent large losses. Accepting defeat and always remembering that it is a normal thing experienced by all gamblers will make us aware that gambling is still entertainment, and we don't need to gamble too seriously so that we don't experience bigger losses.
Sometimes gambler has too many dreams or imagines that they can have big win or even jackpot that can change their fate and life, so they have too high ambitions for gambling.
This is kind of attitude that is characteristic of gambler, wanting to say no but in reality that is exactly what is happening and it will be difficult to understand it.
Those gamblers who experience conditions like this will never be able to realize what they are doing because they cannot control themselves and have awareness of every impact that occurs.
Carelessness is mistake that almost cannot be avoided, especially for gamblers who often act rashly in every action they take, gamblers will only think about what they think is right.
A more significant impact can occur if gamblers borrow money just to add betting capital so they can continue gambling sessions.

In this case, what I will say is that accepting defeat cannot be as easy as we say, perhaps we often say and convey that every gambler must be able to accept defeat.
But there is belief in me that it is difficult for them to adopt this kind of attitude.
A sense of responsibility and wise attitude are big influence on what we are saying, if gamblers don't have these two attitudes then they are clearly on the verge of ruin.

It's true, there are still many gamblers who don't think about the risks in gambling so that it's something that is always neglected in gambling. many of those who gamble only think about winning and not the risks in gambling. because the chances of winning are smaller than the chances of winning, it's not strange that many defeats are obtained because it's a natural thing in gambling and they should be able to realize this,  because this has become a certain thing in gambling. There are also many of them who experience changes in gambling motives, maybe there are gamblers who at the beginning they have a target but when they reach the target they change to want to get a bigger win. this also often happens among every gambler.

that's true, I don't believe in that, even though there are some people who say like that and they believe in that, I think that's just their alibi to keep gambling, in fact I think the more often we gamble, the closer we are to destroying our lives, that's that's what I thought. and it is true that gambling has a strong attraction, so many people fall into gambling and become addicted, but if they can restrain themselves, maybe bad things will not happen, such as addiction and big losses. It's true what you said, they have to be aware of the many losses they have had and this has to be corrected by not gambling too often.
They should be able to think about the risks of gambling so that they don't use a lot of money, which could make them lose that money because they might be less careful in managing their expenses. The chance of winning is smaller than the chance of losing, so they should be able to reduce the risk of losing so that they don't lose a lot of money. Otherwise, they will only regret it at the end of the game, but if they are already addicted to gambling, they will not regret it because they do not see the amount of money lost at the gambling table as worth regretting. They will only come back another day with bigger money and the hope that they can gamble and win big.

Yes, that's just their excuse to return to gambling, but they can't realize that it will destroy their lives because they will lose a lot of money from gambling. Gambling has its appeal so that it can make people return to gambling more often without considering that gambling should be done for fun and entertainment. They forget to restrain themselves from gambling excessively and should also be able to increase their vigilance in gambling so that they can control the use of their money to prevent more losses. However, they must improve it by reducing their gambling activities so that they do not fall deeper into gambling, which will only destroy their lives.

I agree with this, because I think those who already have high hopes for gambling will not be able to stop gambling, including those who cannot accept losing, when they gamble they should be prepared for the risks involved in gambling, such as the risk of losing the money they bet, because in gambling losing money is certain, it is impossible to avoid. Also, winning is difficult to get, even though they spend a large amount of money, it does not guarantee that they can win easily.

There are also those who say that the more often you gamble, the closer you are to gambling. I'm not sure about this, because if this is true then it seems like many people have won big at gambling, but what is unfortunate is that this only makes them more trapped in gambling. where it will be difficult for them to get out of that trap. and in my opinion, with the many losses they get, those who still gamble continuously even though they always lose,  they don't get pleasure, but rather they get annoyed and want to get their money back, therefore many gamblers gamble continuously even though they always lose.
There are still many people who are not ready to take risks in gambling, but they still try to chase victory because they feel they still have a chance to win. Even though the opportunity is not as big as the defeat they will receive later, it will make them forget to take care of themselves when gambling. And when they lose another amount of money, they will become even more disappointed and have a desire to continue gambling. Their goal has changed from originally just wanting to enjoy gambling as entertainment to instead changing to wanting to win the gambling game.

The more often you gamble, it doesn't mean you are closer to winning, but it will bring you closer to losing, which could result in many losses. And that will trap many people into gambling because they can't realize that they are gambling too much. Those who have experienced defeat from gambling should be able to realize that they should be able to stop themselves from gambling because it will only have bad consequences for them. But there are still people who continue to gamble because they still want to win from gambling and don't realize whether it is wrong or right, even though it is a mistake that must be corrected immediately.

I think that not gambling any longer is not a solution. For instance, if I sell my laptop and use the money to gamble and then lose it, if I stop gambling, does it take away the fact that my laptop was sold and used for gambling? Of course not. The problem remains with the gambler whether he stops or not. If he stops, he must seek another alternative, either selling another property to replace his laptop if the laptop is so important to him or borrowing money. If he borrows money, he becomes a debtor and must seek a way to pay it back. On the other hand, if he continues gambling maybe he will win. But then, instead of advocating that a gambler shouldn`t gamble anymore because of the possibility of experiencing more loss, it will be more profitable for the gambler to set a limitation and stick to it.

You are talking about extreme cases here where you say that one loses everything in gambling and he has no money left but to borrow money to gamble more. Lending money for gambling is never recommended but why the gambler reach such a situation where he has to borrow money or sell his assets ?

This means that the gambler is doing something extremely wrong that lead him to this situation. It is either he is not following any risk management or money management plan, or he to too emotional and greedy that he does not know how and when to cash out profits. Many gamblers will win in gambling but they do not handle their winnings properly, reinvest in games and then lose everything. And yes, there is no fun without money  Wink
Not stopping will make him sell another property, thereby compounding his troubles. If he stops, he wouldn't battle anymore with borrowing money or finishing his belongings for the sake of gambling. Gamblers who have decided to sell things to raise money, may not find it a happy ending if they don't win enough money. Such people are not expected to stay happy while losing. Gamblers who enjoy the process of losing, don't have anything to lose. Instead, they are winning by earning some experiences with gambling and how to manage their emotions and money. Gamblers are not governed by same mentality or aim. Everyone has his unique reason of participating in gambling. Some gamblers get the fun, while losing few funds and their time. Many others don't find it funny in any form. Differences in gambling has made it impossible for people to generalize on the effect of gambling on players.

Sometimes it’s way more about the thrill of playing and the emotion of not knowing what the outcome will be than about winning all the time

Intermittent rewards is definitely tricky and hooking
Most importantly you enjoy the game, it won't always win and it certainly won't always lose.
If you just hope to win this will be harmful to your own mentality and this could result in an over-addiction to gambling.

The euphoria when playing in gambling games, when betting is the main focus for myself.
Because fun will not be obtained when gambling just to determine how much profit to get.
Use only a small amount of money to gamble but get great fun.

The pleasure in defeat is possible when all is well managed.
Can manage emotions, can manage funds and do not force to gamble with large amounts.

I am quite sure that for some gamblers who are looking for profit and victory from their gambling, it will give them frustration and annoyance, there is no sense of pleasure in them.
but for people who are looking for fun in games and/or joking with friends to enjoy gambling or betting, it will provide a sense of fun, this depends on a person's goal in gambling, but this thought will be ambiguous because most people gamble to seek profits and wins to multiply their money. , but believe me not all gamblers have goals and thoughts like that.

Losing when gambling is no fun, especially when you're on a losing streak. You'll get depressed whenever you see all the money that you lost, and sadness will start to cripple you, and that's when happiness will start. You will now find ways to get back on track, and you'll be more disciplined in your betting.

Also, the fun is taking the risk to try more; you don't know whether it will hit or not. The anticipation and thrill of the mystery that is about to unfold are the enjoyable parts. This will cause adrenaline, and the risk and uncertainty associated with gambling can cause an adrenaline rush. This may be appealing to some individuals.

The other thing is that some people use gambling as an escape from reality. Gambling provides a temporary escape from everyday life. The focus on the game, analyzing things, and the potential for big wins can serve as a distraction for a short period of time.

Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

There are certain gambling strategies that can help you reduce your losses if you follow these strategies. Gambling It is generally best to gamble three to four days a week, as gambling losses are more likely to occur when a gambler becomes addicted to gambling. That's why it is better to gamble two to three days a week, usually gambling is played by rich people for fun. But the amount of money you enter into Dua, divide that amount into three parts. You enter gambling with one-third, start gambling with that money, and stop gambling when the balance shrinks. A gambler who follows these strategies will certainly reduce losses.

In a way it is really ironic that those that are unable to accept their losses and keep gambling hoping to recover their money are the ones that will lose the most of it, while those that can deal with the losses they got, as they know very well that gambling is just another hobby for them, will be the ones that will gamble responsibly and only lose what they can afford to lose, and while losing control like this once or twice is still acceptable, if this becomes common place, it would be better for those people to leave gambling behind as it is obvious they cannot really deal with it.
Those who cannot accept their defeat will return to gambling and continue to hope to win. But no matter how hard they try, they probably won't be able to win even if they add more money to gambling easily. Gambling is entertainment and not a job that can make money, but they can gamble responsibly so they don't lose much money. These are the people who can accept their losses so that they will not experience serious problems from gambling because they only use gambling as entertainment. But when they feel they can no longer control themselves or start not being able to use gambling as entertainment, they must immediately stop gambling for a while or even permanently. If they still gamble, it is feared that they will really lose control of themselves in gambling and could suffer even bigger losses.

If you do play gambling with high expectation or really have that mindset that you could be ending up on winning or making money then this place isnt for you as the things you would mainly encounter will really be that definitely against into your expectations and this is why it would be best that you should really accept on what are the  things that could happen along the way.
You shouldn't really be that making yourself that expecting too much on things which arent supposed to be that way. Having high expectation but on the time that reality make you that realize that it was never been easy on making money with gambling specially if you arent that lucky enough. There are really people who are really that too much abusing those kind of thoughts until they would be busting out themselves.
They really have to change their expectations about winning from gambling because it will only make them deeper into gambling, and there is a possibility that they will experience even more losses. We can only use gambling as entertainment and nothing more because if we use gambling excessively, we will experience losses and lose money, which many people have felt. Those who still have high expectations about gambling will not realize that it has given them loss after loss, but they continue their gambling activities. Making money from gambling is never easy because they have to keep gambling without stopping, and that can result in losing more and more money.

Don't you know what happened to them?
They have big goals and ambitions in making money from gambling and from this they cannot accept all their losses until they end up trying to recover their losses.
The goals and ambitions that are so big towards achieving profit will clearly not be able to accept when defeat occurs, over time the attitude of recovering from defeats that is always done ultimately makes them become addicted to gambling.
The impact of not being able to accept defeat is so great and can influence every gambler to make more frequent mistakes, but they all do it without realizing it because they have lost what is called self-control.

If we never think about making money from gambling then it is clear that we can always have sense of responsibility and wise attitude and that way whatever results we get will always bring happiness.
Losing is not the saddest thing as long as we gamble within limits and can use the money we are prepared to lose, it just that most gamblers use savings or money used for living needs as betting capital.
This makes it difficult for every gambler to accept their losses.

But then, instead of advocating that a gambler shouldn`t gamble anymore because of the possibility of experiencing more loss, it will be more profitable for the gambler to set a limitation and stick to it.
Selling the laptop and using the money to continue gambling is not a solution because he could lose all his money while he no longer has the laptop. And it's not fun if we lose, and we have to be able to reduce the number of losses so that they don't get bigger. Indeed, we will lose, but we will not experience a big loss, so it is a loss that we can accept. And because of the loss, we can advise them not to gamble and save their money to increase the amount of other money so that they will have more money. But if they really want to continue gambling, they should have limits on how they use their money and always adhere to them so that they don't gamble excessively.

Yes, it is normal to experience loss and lose money, but what is unnatural is that many people still cannot accept their defeat and still want to gamble to recover their losses. That would increase their losses even more, and they would not know when to recover their losses. It doesn't feel good to experience loss, but if we can realize that this is a consequence that we have to accept when gambling, we can accept it well. We also won't gamble any longer because we know there is a possibility of experiencing more losses.

What I understand from what you're saying is that you seem to think that a gambler who loses will be able to recover, or restore what they've lost through future winnings, which seems to be the point, but on the other hand  aren't we always encouraged to be responsible gamblers, which means accepting whatever happens at the end of the session without thinking about recovery.

I think what I'm saying is not out of line with some of the suggested gambling actions that lead to a precautionary measure, another thing is that maybe you also know that in gambling there is absolutely no certainty that can guarantee victory at the end of the session, and isn't it possible that initially you only lose a laptop and then you can lose a vehicle? On the other hand you can calculate how much money is sacrificed  as gambling capital to pursue victory and restore what has been lost, I'm sure that the amount of defeat is still greater even if you can restore your laptop that has been victimized. On the other hand, I understand that you advise gamblers to set limits and stick  to them rather than quit, but what you are suggesting is only to prevent something that hasn't happened yet and not at all as a dedication to restore something that has been lost.

Losing doesn't make a person happy in anything, you'll feel sad and disappointed, it's a natural feeling, but how long you stay down is what matters, some people recover from loses faster than others. If you go into gambling with a mindset that it's fun and that loses are part of the outcome of games and be sincere to yourself that it happens more often than winnings, then it wouldn't hit you so hard if it happens. If a gambler can gamble responsibly and be disciplined to bet the amount that he can afford to loose, then continuous loses can not affect him that much, he'd understand that it's the way gambling is, and he'd be hopeful that winning days will come.

Correct, nobody wants to experiment losses, in the mind of the regular gambler, the ideal session in a casino would be one where they are extremely lucky and besides having fun they also manage to pull off some life changing winning amount, a big jackpot. Though, we all know that won't be the case of the vast majority of gambling enthusiasts.
In reality, I believe it would be pretty good if gamblers could treat their losses with indifference, instead of feeling sad or depressed about them. We as human beings are capable of indifference and apathy, but that depends on our economical status. Nobody feels sad or depressed for losing a dime, though in the eyes of many losing a 100$ bill is a tragedy which will remain in their minds for a very long time (not in the eyes of the millionaires though).
If we learn how to feel apathy when facing losses and feel joy when the unexpected winnings, then we will enjoy more our gambling sessions.

Letting out the negatives and embracing the positives, and of course, managing our money in a responsible way so those losses won't affect the rest of our daily obligations and duties.
Those are my two satoshis in this matter.  Tongue
Indifference to losses? That's a skill, but not about money. management, discipline, and emotional and response management are key. You treat indifference like a bank account switch. That's not true

Not becoming numb to losses, but understanding them. A loss is a lesson, a chance to improve and grow. Responsible money management is important, but so are expectations and emotions. That's the jackpot

Supporting healthy gambling promotes resilience, wisdom, and the ability to enjoy the game. Let's change the story. Not indifference, but educated engagement and emotional intelligence. The real wins are there

Well, I call it indifference or apathy because people to some extent can feel apathy towards lossing some money, as I explained. Would you lose your sleep if someone told you that you just lost 0,05$ in your bank account? I don't think you would.
Though, by being indifferent or growing apathetic to losses I don't mean we are supposed to suddenly become irresponsible and treat money as it was monopoly cash and not to worry about it, that is not the idea I want to transmit with what I say.

Also, understanding losses does not guarantee one is going to have a positive experience of gambling. Someone could understand the consequences of their losses or possible losses when placing a bet, and still over react or get depressed when the result turns against them, there is where one needs to emotionally face the consequences in the way I described. Though, it would be better just to adjust the wager according to the consequences one can mentally handle, when people skips that step, the problems start to accumulate, for obvious reasons.
